“First time dining here and the food is amazing! My husband had the baked potato with sausage and bacon. It had plenty of cheese on it too and I had to taste it...so rich and delicious! I had the catfish, shrimp, okra, and slaw. The catfish filets were thick with a little cornmeal coating, perfect! Everything was well seasoned and there's Tony's and Louisiana hot sauce at the table too. Friendly folks that made us feel right at home, and the dessert is not to be missed! “Until yesterday, I had never eaten at this place, but had driven past it over the last few years. I decided to give it a try. This place did not disappoint. Now I'm sure that most people go there for their pizzas, but I was looking for pasta and chicken. I knew I was in the right spot when the gentleman that answered the phone said when I asked him "how much sauce do you put on your pasta?" he responded with, "we treat you like you're over at Nona's house!" And he was 100% right! I ordered one of their bowls with the fajita chicken, pasta, and the Alfredo sauce and it was absolutely delicious! I also want to add that the prices are about $5-$6 dollars cheaper than most of the pasta plates at the local Olive Garden, which is commercial Italian food. This place is serving up Independent business owned Italian food that is amazing so frankly there's no comparison. If you are living in the Longview area or even the surrounding communities and counties and you want good Italian food, you need to go to this place. I want to go back there soon, so I can try one of their pizzas which I'm sure are out of this world!“

“It was our first time ever and it did not disappoint! Super friendly service we had a waitress in training and her trainer and it was the absolute best service and atmosphere we experienced in a long time. Very affordable to boot! 100% recommend.“

“Food was very tasty. I missed having some sort of fresh bread provided. 4 pcs of garlic bread are available for purchase. A toasted bun came with the lasagna but it was tasteless…. No garlic, no butter. The Caesar salad was nice, even with grape tomatoes. Fresh Parmesan would have been a good addition. Green can dried Parmesan was all that was available.“

“Never been here before. Waiter was nice, forgot something but no big deal. Was apologetic about it. The store is cute but there was a sewage smell when we walked in that was strong. This looks like a old building and stuff happens, but it needs to be aired out badly. Very reasonable prices.Food was ok for the location. Noodles tasted like store bought, broth had no flavor. The fried rice was much better in our opinion.“

“This TexMex joint has been serving the area for as long as I can remember! The tortillas are soft, fluffy, and made fresh all day long. The best part is you can enjoy a nice dine-in experience without spending hours of your day. My wife and I consistently get in and out of here within 30-45 minutes total. The food is nothing to write home about, but it’s all pretty good and I recommend giving it a try!Parking: Extra parking behind the building also“

“Place was mellow and relaxing with games on the sidewalk and inside board games. The employee was great and knowledgeable on the different offerings. It's good to see that Longview has an offering other than the commercial stuff.Hope to visit again soon.“

“Beautifully decorated and the service was outstanding. Our waiter went above and beyond to find ketchup for one picky eater at our table. The food was really good but my sushi was HUGE, I had to actually cut them in half to be able to eat it. This was is really pricey so be prepared for a hefty sized bill. I've had way better sushi for less. We personally won't be back for a second trip but I'm not dogging it, it was delicious. My sweetheart didn't care for his steak said there was to much fat.“

“Have visited Boxcar BBQ several times. Generally have the sliced brisket and boudin. Brisket has always been moist and tender and seasoned perfectly; boudin is always fresh and flavorful. It's a no frills place with outstanding food. I enjoyed it immensely. I'll be back.“

“In a world full of the same old "Mexican" restaurants El Ranchero is a gem.We arrived around 1pm and it was just a bit busy. But we were seated right away. Of course you get the usual chips and salsa. And the salsa was very good.We ordered, she got the taco salad and I got the burrito tejano. Everything was seasoned well. Most of these places only add the ingredients inside, bland as can be and ride on the fact of the queso or sauce on the outside to flavor the burrito. Not El Ranchero, they actually season all the ingredients on the inside like they care about what they're doing.I have found my new favorite Mexican place and will be back again and again. This was my first visit while being over 21, so I finally got to try a margarita and it was so good! The food is amazing and they really give you so much! You get tortillas with squeeze butter, chips and salsa, and sopapillas all complimentary with the meal!! I got enchiladas and they were delicious. “Grabbed a bottle of Hot BBQ Sauce on my trip across Texas at my favorite BBQ joint. Sauce was perfect as always. Got some hot link wraps that I haven't had in a few years. They've since switched from solid links to sliced longer links. They are dry and lacking a lot of the flavor they previously had.“

“I’ve dined at Fuji twice now and have greatly enjoyed both experiences.Both times I’ve come on week nights and sat down immediately, there were just a few others. I sat at a table the first time, and then the sushi bar the next. Both times the servers were very sweet, and service was almost instant. The first entree I had was the chicken Katsu, it was fried and cooked perfectly with a great crust and juicy, non-fatty interior. The katsu sauce was also traditional and very good. This time I switched it up and got something I never do. When I normally get sushi, I tend to stick to nigiri at high end sushi restaurants, but decided to be random tonight and order a roll. I had the Cajun Cowboy Roll and loved it. To me this isn’t sushi at all, with ingredients such as crab, crawfish, and ribeye steak on top….but I just didn’t picture it as that. I just saw it as a unique surf and turf entree, Texas style. Whatever you want to see it as, I bet you will love it as much as I did. Just overall good experiences I’ve had here.My only suggestion is that it’s super bright inside, dimming the lights a little would be awesome!“

“We already like to come to the Cotton Patch as the food is pretty good. However, we decided to be adventurous and go on a Saturday night for their steak special. This isn't a steak house, so we weren't expecting much. However, lately, most of the steakhouses aren't much to brag about either. We found out this is one of Longview's best kept secrets! The steak was tender and flavorful. The salad was as pretty as it was tasty, and the baked potatoe was perfect! I haven't had such a good baked potatoe in years! Much better than what we've been getting at the local steakhouses. Service was great! (We had Lucas as our server) It was quicker, and quieter than going to any of the steakhouses around here. It all was so good that we tried the butter cake desert. It was good, but I think we will try the peach cobbler next time. My husband asked me if this was going to be our new Saturday night thing as we enjoyed it so much. I think it just might! Excuse the photos, I got my half of the potatoe and cut the onions up before I took the pictures.Parking: There's parking in the front as well as in the back. My husband likes to park in the front as it's closer to the door, while I park in the back. I do this as it's less crowded with a lesser chance of getting a ding on my door from others. It's not that much of a walk to the front door.“

“Really good fast casual seafood spot. We had a big party and were each able to order at the counter. The food arrived super quick to our table and was well seasoned. I went with the fish and shrimp platter, which was delicious. A few friends had the gumbo, and all said it was good, but very spicy. The portion sizes were all wonderful and cooked well. Someone ordered crawfish and she should have known better. They were bland and pretty small. Otherwise, it was a good visit and I would definitely return. Good job!“

“This burger was REALLY good!!! The meat was seasoned really well! And they grind their meat DAILY! SO IT WAS FRESH! SOOOOO GOOD! Since I'm not from the area, and I LOVE a good burger. I thought I'd try them out! And soooooo glad I did! The manager there was VERY helpful in helping me decide WHICH burger to get. I love a plain old cheeseburger and once he said they grind their meat daily, I was HOOKED! The they have these beans as like an appetizer or something to hold you over. “Delicious pizza. Our first time eating there. We got the “King’s Delight” with added spinach. I got Anchovies on only half of the pizza being my wife doesn’t like them. This was my first time trying anchovies on my pizza and I’m glad I did. The only issue was I wish the spinach wasn’t sautéed but baked on the pizza fresh leaves.
