“this is my favorite place to go for ice cream. their scooped ice cream is nice and creamy— i always get the gansito flavor. i also recently tried their elote en vaso for the first time and it was delicious; they go heavy on the toppings, which i really like because you don't end up eating some scoops of mostly just corn. on top of that, everyone who works here is always so friendly and the place is kept clean!“

“Being from Louisiana it was very hard to find an authentic "snowball stand". We were so excited when we came across pelicans because they're based in Louisiana and they definitely understood the snowball assignment. The flavors are there, when i say condensed milk they know what I'm talking about! They have games outside by the tables if you want to enjoy your snowball while the kids play. “We always get ice cream on a trip. That's our way of ending our day/trip on a sweet note. I looked up ice cream shops in stockyard and MELT ice cream popped up at the very front. Then I walked out of a chain burger store and noticed, hey, it's right across the street and people are eating ice cream in this 50 something degree weather, this must be good.I smiled at a mom walking out of the shop with her kids, and asked her if the ice cream is good. She gave me a thumbs up and said it's worth it. When we walked in the store it smelled amazing, I felt like walking into a bakery. I wanted to try out fun flavors but my kids insisted on what they know best- vanilla bean and strawberry. As a family we discuss, negotiate, and compromise. So we ordered vanilla bean and strawberry.Since we're sharing the ice cream and cone, I told myself it's okay to order 2 scoops. Vanilla on top, strawberry below, in a vanilla cone. But oh boy it was gigantic and it took the 3 of us a good 15 minutes to finish. The vanilla was surprisingly sweeter than the strawberry but I really appreciate MELT not adding too much sugar and using fresh ingredients. We can really taste the difference. We will come back when we're in the stockyard. Hopefully, the kids will at least let me try chocolate then.“

“Went here with my son this weekend and it was great! We walked in and the guy explained the process and how it works. They had tons of flavors, and my son got a really weird combo of Nutella and salted caramel ice cream with granola mixed in. I went with vanilla and butterfinger mixed in. The ice cream is different. It's really dense but creamy too. The portion cups look small but once you get the ice cream you understand why. It was delicious in the end. Would recommend.“

“This place is real find. It has popsicles that are just as good or better than the gourmet pop shops at a third or less of the price. It is not as "nice" as the high style, high design pop shops as it is mostly a wholesale store, used to supply the guys who sell pops out of their bikes. But why pay 300% more for decor? La Flor's pops are fresh, made in Fort Worth, with great natural flavors and real ingredients. Highly recommended for folks who want a high quality treat for a great price.“

I love the strawberry and water popsicles but they also have an incredible smoothie with fresh strawberries and milk. (There are lots of other options as well - I’m just in love with strawberries!)FYI: The shop is named after one of the Mexican states that borders the Pacific Ocean and is famous for its picturesque cities and churches,If you’ve never been to a Mexican ice cream shop, the employees here are so nice. “Absolutely outstanding. I needed a last minute gift for my MIL and I live to far away to swing by her place. I simply wanted her to feel loved. All those other online order possibilities were expensive and many not available for same day delivery. I literally tripped over Tiff's treats and placed an order for the birthday box by around 9 am. The variety of cookies were warm delivered the time I picked in the early afternoon. The delivery driver had to deliver the cookies to a senior living community with several buildings to the apartment door. We called later at night my MIL and she was thrilled about the cookie delivery and mentioned they are very tasteful. Thank you Tiff's treats!“

“I was unloaded in 1hr. There plenty of room to park and also a staging area if you want to stay overnight. They have restroom but I'm guessing due to COVID-19 restrictions they are closed to drivers.they have some very fine top of the line basic portable restroom lol, no complaints.
