“Pretty good burger. I got the bandito, which had an interesting mix of flavors. Namely the pickeled jalapeños, which were a nice touch. The bacon was perfect. Crispy yet tender at the same time. The only complaint I have is the wait time. I had to wait 20 minutes for the burger. Not bad if you were at a sit down restaurant. But at a casual place like this when you’re at work, you’re going to have to gulf down your meal if you want to make it back to work in time. I recommend this place though.“

“Awesome folks, great service, friendly. This establishment has great decor. There's a small Guage train set inside a large table that goes in a circle that you can advertise your business using your business card. We indulged! $15.00/mo. A fun way to advertise. :). I recommend this .9 mile "out of the way" stop! Did I mention how good the peach cobbler is?“

“Papa Don's chicken & sausage gumbo is "the BOMB!!!" My favorite item on the menu!! I always try to get a big container to travel home (95 miles south of Marshall). The roux is so full-flavor, and LOTS of chicken & sausage...I can make 2 meals out of a large to-go container!!
All of their seafood is fresh, & cooked to-order. Friendly staff & cooks are always accommodating!!
Just wish I lived closer to Cajun Tex!!!

“Always a great place to stop and get lunch. Ate in with wife and daughter. Burgers, fries and onion rings are always the best. Very new building right off Hwy 80, super clean and a friendly staff. We'll drive from Shreveport just because the trip is beautiful and the restaurant is so nice!“

Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Hash Browns are the benchmark that all others strive for but few achieve.
Pancakes and Waffles are Awesome, too. Biscuits are BETTER than Your Mama's. I always ask for real butter to top it off.“
