“Food and drinks were good! AC couldn't really keep up the other day with everyone going in and out so it was a little warm. I'll probably try to visit again during a weekday to skip the drunk people. Will come back again when it's a little cooler and enjoy the deck seating.“

“Just a heads up, this is one of the rare places that allows inside smoking. Overall, it's an older crowd, so it's laid back and no issues when I went. Prices for drinks and food are responsible compared to other places I've been. Waitresses work in rotation, so someone is always coming around asking if you're good and need anything. They have a pool table and inside dart games. Nice little laid back spot if you don't mind the smoking.“

“Chase place was my favorite bar. I usually invite a group of my American Legion friends to meet there. We meet about 2+ times a month. Usually myself and around 5-6 friends. Plus other friends randomly. Monday this one waitress, Nancy, never even asked what I wanted or said a word to me. My friends all noticed this. Therefore, I will not invite my people to be there when Nancy is working. What a shame.“

“This is the best bar in Rockwall!! The atmosphere is amazing!! They are located right on the lake so you can see the water and sunsets while you are having a great time with your friends. Also the staff is the main reason why I keep coming back! “Facility is well maintained and very nice. Kids love to run around and play while parents enjoy their time watching games. There is indoor with ac and outdoor in the sun or under the trees or pavilion. Bar is very nice. Jillian was exceptional. Food service from food coaches was slow but they were the only one there with lunch type food. Food was good. Took a while to get it but worth it. We will be returning next weekend for a birthday event. Very impressed.“

“Outstanding from start to finish. Service was warm and accommodating. Food was outstanding. We had the sampler, stir fried goat, meat pie, and suya were fantastic. Only thing on the sampler we weren’t crazy about was the fish roll. They offered us puff puff. Light, delicious and fresh from the fryer. Mains were majestic stew and Jollof rice with beef tips. All were rich, flavorful, and wonderfully spicy. It was an outstanding meal and we will absolutely be back.“

“This is my home bar. Been going here since 2008. They have great daily specials - $5 for 1/2lb burger on Mondays and get THIS: Tuesday is 2.50 domestic bottles, 16oz drafts, 1/4lb burgers! You can’t beat that anywhere! The service is usually great, even when busy. Shuffleboard tourneys Thursday and Saturday. Karaoke on Tuesday night and the weekends. AMI jukebox you can use an app for. Lots of bar seating and you can smoke inside. Add a few game machines, a couple pool tables and darts - you’ve got the best backroads bar in the county. Crockpot Sundays for NFL watches. Drop in on Friday days for the specials and say hi to Debby, tell her Trav sent you. See you there!

“My family took me there for Father’s Day and it was great , we had fish, shrimp, gator, calamari, fries and hush puppies, plus cold beer . And all was great and so was our server, plus we had plenty of ketchup !“

“My daughter and I came here for Sunday after church lunch. It was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress was nice and very attentive. I ordered an alcoholic beverage which I did not finish because it was completely alcohol. It did not taste very good at all. Our food however, was very good. My daughter gos a burger with the queso fries, and I got chicken and shrimp pasta. It was all so good. Definitely no complaints other than the alcoholic beverage. I ended up just drinking sweet tea. The bathroom was clean and the atmosphere was very inviting and friendly. Much improved from the last time we went about a year ago.“

“we came in last night as a party of about 40 was being served and we were told there would be a 45 minute wait. we decided to wait around cause i had a feeling they were over quoting the wait time to pace the kitchen. the wait ended up being just 15 minutes. as a previous manager of a restaurant, i can’t help but wonder how many customers they scared away with that wait time. i believe you should seat empty tables so that guests can wait at a table and just explain that the kitchen is catching up from a large party. anyway. the service and the food was great. honestly, my only single complaint was how many times our server called us all “baby”. to my kids, that’s sweet. to myself, it seemed insincere and made me feel like i was in daycare. to my husband, i would say it was disrespectful had she not said it to us all about 45 times. it just felt like overkill. again, previously being in the service industry, i believe “baby” is not how you address adults. especially to a man sitting beside his significant other… might say it to the wrong couple one day. i am sure it’s just her habit, but maybe she could practice different replies. price was good and atmosphere was that of every other chili’s.“
