“great food great service . everything I have ordered has been good.“

“Their focus on crafting higher-end burgers is evident, and the burgers themselves are genuinely good, offering a distinct flavor. Evaluating the service is challenging since it primarily consists of bringing your tray to the table. The bathrooms were adequately clean. However, the atmosphere feels a bit awkward, with enclosed, dark booths that create a boxed-in sensation. Also, the benches, made of hard plywood, are quite uncomfortable.“

“Really great spot. We came in on a Thursday and it was pretty dead though. Food was great and the service was really fast and friendly. We believe our waiters name was Brandon or Braden and he did a great job. They seemed understaffed and unfortunately didn’t have anybody who could service drinks or cocktails, I imagine for legal reason, which was a bit of a bummer because we probably would have spent double what we actually did. It is pretty expensive, but the quality and quantity and overall experience is worth it for special occasions.“

“2nd time here, literally one of the best restaurants. Have been all over the country and a few international trips in the past 13 months and La Jolla Gove in Provo is literally do not miss. Bruschetta, tomato basil soup, seasonal salad are to die for. Entrees are consistent and the atmosphere is adorable. Wish it wasn’t a 4 hour drive Moriah was our server tonight and was on-point. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This is one of my absolute favorite Gourmet burger places of all time! A fantastic artisan restaurant tucked away in Provo, this is perhaps the best burger you can get not just in town but arguably within the whole State!

The Blue Cheese Burger is one of the sleeper burgers on the Lunch menu, and it’s secret to being so amazing comes from the Cabernet reduction that synchronizes expertly with the caramelized onions, crisp candied bacon, Blue Cheese, and fresh arugula. The whole flavor profile is intense and immensely satisfying! The Nanniskadii Bun (like flatbread) is dense and chewy, but not in an overpowering way. The whole experience is testament to the expert craft of the chefs, and is my absolute recommendation to anyone who goes here! A word of caution though—the Lunch Menu and Dinner Menu are different, so pay close attention to what is available when. The Blue Burger, for example, is a Lunch specialty only.

The sweet potato wedges and the house sauce are perhaps the reason so many people continue to return. Incredibly moist and tender fries are seasoned delicately with an addicting “adobe” profile that absolutely divinely pairs with the House sauce. The sauce is akin to “campfire sauce”, but is creamy, thick, and addicting delicious. Anyone who says they don’t double-dip will find themselves dipping 2-3x per fry just to keep the sauce moving into their mouth!

An incredibly wonderful experience every time I come, I always highly recommend this location to all who want a higher class meal in Provo.

Parking: There’s a few spots of street parking right out front, but it’s really difficult to get a spot. Most people have to find a place somewhere on University and walk to the entrance“

“Outstanding food. 100 times better then any chicken joint. Tried the cheesy chicken sandwich and the waffle shake. LITERALY TO DIE FOR. Trust me don’t miss out on this place. Online orders are mainly shut down because the line is almost out the door. Small lobby. But trust me get here when you can and the wait is worth it people“

“We ate the most creative and divine food last night at Communal. The portions are big and they are for sharing. The new summer salad with fresh peaches and corn was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The blend of flavors was absolutely amazing. Had I known how delicious it was beforehand I would have just ordered that for dinner. My husband and I shared the Greek chicken, crispy fingerling potatoes and roasted carrots with pistachios. Wonderful homemade rolls were served while we awaited our dinner. Everything is freshly cooked so plan to enjoy a wonderful, scrumptious and leisurely dinner. Wish we had time to go back and try some other dishes. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was excellent. A divine dining experience!“

“First of all I would like to say the service was very refreshing. I go to many restaurants in St George and never feel as welcome as I did today at j-dawgs. Second had a Polish sausage with sauerkraut and raw onions with special sauce. Incredible every bite made me smile. third, the fries really good. I hope that this place can stay consistent. seems like that is a problem in St George new restaurants come in good at first and then go to hell. I must say the special sauce is incredible. bought a bottle will be going back to buy another tomorrow,along with another dog. “Our friend and I absolutely love this place! It's always great coming to a Houston Hot Chicken. Quality Chicken with a unique Cajun spice and sides that'll light you on fire as well.

He had the small bowl but I decided to go big that day.

“A great place if you want really good food and a casual atmosphere. Be prepared to spend $40-$70 for a date. Get drinks and an appetizer maybe a dessert it makes the meal complete. Get some unique sodas that they carry. I highly recommend the Jack Kerouac Burger. Probably one of the top 3 gourmet burgers I’ve had. Though the fries and burger needs to come with at least 2-3 sauce containers.

Parking: The street parking is hard Especially on the Weekends. Eventually you’ll find a spot.“

“We stopped here on our way from Idaho to Arizona. It happened to be Veterans Day and they had a sign on the door stating dinner was free for veterans, I ordered a double burger, fried and a coke, $23.00 and I expected to pay something cause I upgraded the meal but nope..Free! Greatly appreciated and the burger was awesome, truly a bargain at $13.00 and I’d expect to find that burger for triple the price on the menu at a fancy establishment. Service was great, cashier was helpful and thanked me for my service. Everyone in our party enjoyed the establishment and we hope to hit it again on the way home.“

“My friend and I went last week. We shared our meals. She ordered the fish and chips, but substituted the chips, for sweet potato fries. I ordered the chicken and cheese enchiladas. She thought her fish was the best she had ever had and felt the same about her sweet potato fries. I thought my enchilada was the best I had ever had as well. We have both eaten in many restaurants, in many countries. Our waiter was absolutely great and the food was even better. We drove to Lehi to meet some friends from Indiana and just happened to need to eat supper while we were there. Strap Tank was suggested and oh my the food was amazing! We both decided we would drive back solely for the purpose of eating there again. I would rate the food as perhaps the best in Utah.“
