“The staff at Hug-Hes tonight were truly a godsend. We were about an hour from home, looking for a place to eat, and decided to stop in. We had our 5-year-old with us and were pleasantly surprised by the variety on the kids’ menu.

While we were waiting for our food, our son suddenly got sick and threw up—nothing related to the restaurant at all. He was panicked, and we needed to head home quickly. As my wife helped clean him up, I worked with the staff to take care of the mess. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout the entire situation.

I was very apologetic and asked if we could cancel our order, and there was absolutely no hesitation. Their only concern was making sure we could get our child home and taken care of. The manager was especially amazing—I didn’t catch her name, but she went out of her way to support us and make sure everything was handled smoothly.

Because of the staff alone, we will definitely be returning. Also, the beer bread was excellent“

“Hubby and I stopped in for lunch for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. He had French Dip and fries and I had one of the Four Corners (Mexican) lunch specials. Really delish! Alice’s is located in a very industrial area but the interior is quirky, fun, and relaxed. Great service. I’d recommend it! I’d love to try their breakfast sometime. Looks like they’re open until 2:00 pm with strong breakfast and lunch options.“

Who cares that it’s an hour away from home, it’s worth the drive! I had the granola pancake (🤤) and my friend had the strawberry french toast special (equally delicious). We also took home cinnamon and raspberry rolls (to die for). Give this place a try, you’ll be glad you did!“

Some of the best burgers in the area, great flavor! We also split the paniola fries, very unique and tasty! We will be back to try the other burgers! Great service too.“

“2.5 stars The beer selection is amazing. The food is wonderful…however!, it will take more time than you’d think for service and food. We’ve given this place 4 tries, and while sitting at the bar is amazing for drinks, the table service and food is super slow so just set those expectations appropriately. This is a consistent experience, every time, which is a bummer with the service and food because the food is great! But even if you’re sitting at the bar, food service is *extremely* slow (40 minutes for an order of wings). It’s so unfortunate because otherwise, this place is a gem.“

The breakfast menu i think is a bit overprice and under quality. It's like the next step up from mcdonalds breakfast, but 4x more on the price. I think either quality needs to come up to meet their price, or visa versa.“

“Not as good as their regular locations, but still good. Got the crab and avocado sandwich. It has a generous amount of highs quality crab. Clam chowder was good.
I've seen some complaints about service, my service was fast and efficient. I was able to get in and out within 45 minutes.“
