Hubby said his chopped cheese sandwich was unlike anything he’s ever had before, in a good way, and the potato salad was a surprise treat. Hot, fresh, fried meats on the grill. Chopped, spiced, and mixed with fried mushrooms, onions, oregano, and seasoned with Red Wine Vinegar before toasting the bread on the grill, melting cheese on top of all of it, and filled to the brim with lettuce and tomatoes!

Just might be the GOAT of all sandwich’s! Seriously! These guys know how to sub!

“I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed The Philadelphian prior to this visit. My son and I are frequent patrons when we shop at MRS Hobby next door. This time, on a whim, I ordered a French Dip w grilled onions and they nailed it. We’ve tried practically everything on the menu. All the sandwiches are great, fries and onion rings are terrific. “Atmosphere” is irrelevant. This isn’t a spa. Feed yourself!“

“UPDATE,
After receiving an email back from the owner of the store I have chosen to update my review because we've actually now eaten at this location. Same day he responded to me is the day my wife actually went and bought some food.
Atmosphere was great customer service was great however there were a couple issues with the food that are maybe attributed to new crew. My wife asked for extra peppers on her Philly which he did get unfortunately The girl making the sandwich on the grill didn't add the veggies until the very end so they weren't cooked and had to be picked out of the sandwich as they were just regular onions and peppers not fried onions and peppers with your much more soft and their savory. That was definitely a letdown but a simple reminder that they need to actually cook to soften them up and to bring out their flavor seems a simple fix. My sandwich the super sub was great however I'm pretty sure they guessed on the bread size as I've had at least a hundred regular size sandwiches before and this was much smaller. It was a good 2 in smaller than my wife's now all the meat and stuff was on it but still a little thick because they had to try to fit everything on such a small bunn. Overall could have been a lot worse could be better but all this seems like it can be handled in time.
Thank you Jersey Mike's owner for getting in touch with me to give me a chance to address this and giving me hope that we can continue to use as much closer location and it will only get better as time goes on.

As a customer of Jersey Mike's for a long time, talking years, I must say I love their food. We always had to go to the one on Foothill boulevard which is about a 10-15 minute drive from our house. You can see my review of this location and my wife's of the same location and they are excellent. Finally they open one literally 4 minutes off the street from me. It's been open for a short while, I can't recall but I wouldn't say more than 2 months.

The very first time we attempted to go there My wife showed up 15 minutes before closing. As we run restaurants ourselves our hours are our hours. If we say we're open till 10:00 we are open till 10:00 to serve you whatever is on the menu. Well they closed early, I won't go into the descriptions other than a shorter gentleman with darker hair was very rude and had no concerns about closing early, the taller gentleman with blonder hair didn't say anything but he kind of had the look of feeling bad but again didn't say anything. My wife expressed concern that when you open a brand new location maybe it's not a good idea to close early and be so bold about it. They said they had already cleaned up and didn't want to make a mess and they had just closed early and tough luck.

It actually saddens me to give such a bad review to a Jersey Mike's as the name brand, but there is actually more insight to this than I can say on this review. You would think you would want to put your best foot forward especially opening a store up in East Mill Creek. Word spreads fast when you do stuff like this, seems like management needs to get a handle on the situation. Of course one of them could have been a manager but they weren't wearing name tags.

I will simply end that it disappoints me to absolutely no end to know I can't have my favorite food that we used to eat two to three times a week, I know, we were addicted, and we can't even go to the brand new one just minutes from our house.“

“I went in for the first time. I rarely ever go out of my way to get any sort of sandwiches when I choose to eat out. Right as I walked in was a lively atmosphere of the entire place. Right music, it matched the entire place. I should mention it was CLEAN which definitely earns a lot of points. People working there were incredibly nice and willing to help with recommendations for someone coming in the first time. The food was PHENOMENAL. I don’t quite remember what I got. I think a number 13 with the additions to make it spicy since I’m a sucker for spice. First bite was incredible, never had anything like it. “So 1rst.time going was kinda of a maze but got there spent $20 on a bacon chz burger made it a meal with dink & fries but had to buy each individually which kinda was lame and a turn off but the burger was good drink was better than the fries but I see why they food not wallet friendly kuz they have MANY U of U medical and staff and what not up there and they the closest dining option for some ... wish they could maybe make a $15 meal deal ..but again staff was cool and friendly and burger was good“

Jasmine is always so kind and greets us a with a smile and remembers everything we get. “We ordered from Port Of Subs through an app called ezCater for a Halloween party we were having. I looked around for easy meal ideas for our party for a few days and after looking at some of the typical ones people use, I found that many places were crazy expensive AND, I would have to go pick it up myself. I found their options for catering really appealing, and the price was reasonable. I also love that they offer a veggie tray and most places don't. The other up side is that I didn't have to find a way to keep food warm like we would have had to for a taco bar or burgers etc. We ordered the Spectacular Sub Assortment which we got to pick 4 styles (Turkey & Provolone, Ham & American, Roast Beef and Provolone, and BLT) and had the bread type an assortment (white or wheat). We then had them put lettuce and tomato but had Mayo on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. We also ordered some chips, the Definitely Dessert Platter, and as I mentioned, the Vegetable Garden Splendor. You guys! not only were the sandwiches a hit, that veggie tray was AMAZING!!!! The dessert platter had brownies and cookies and they were sooo good, and ALL the sandwiches were gone at the end of the night. They had plenty of toppings on them and the bread was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend them and I will use them again when we need to cater something.“

“I was very impressed by this little deli. I live in the apartments behind this restaurant and just randomly thought I would check it out today after a run. They have so many options! I ordered the Caesar salad and Turkey jalapeño sandwich and it did not disappoint. Staff was extremely friendly and continued to check up on me even after I ordered my food and paid for my food. Most places will not pay much attention to you after you have paid. This will be a weekly spot for me now! Also you have to try the mango peach sweet tea! Being from the south I have given up all hope to find good sweet tea but this spot did it right!!!“

“I haven't been to Subway in a REALLY long time because my favorite thing was the seafood & crab which Subway got rid of & I'm picky with meat.
But the staff was awesome. The sandwich was amazing! I will go back for sure!

“First time at Cubby’s, and they’re missing the boat. Tacos should always have a corn tortilla option, especially for those who eat gluten free. I had to pick the tri-tip and toppings off the tacos, which I will say were tasty, but would have been much better in a corn tortilla. And would have been much more filling. Suggestion from a Texan, add corn tortillas please.
On a side note, the rosemary fries and fry sauce were good. And my hubby enjoyed the Gypsy burger quite a bit.
Also, the service was excellent.
