“My boyfriend and I usually go really late at night. I've found that when we go to restaurants in late hours, the servers and staff are very slow, and a little rude. Thats not the case here.

One server in particular- Ashley- was incredibly kind; and the food came out almost immediately. She was very quick with refills, appetizers, food, and sauces. I have certain preferences with my food, and she was very understanding and my food came out correctly. She was great!

Also- every time we've come here, it's very clean, very quiet, and food comes out instantly. The wait time is less than a minute to get in, even if you have a big party.

Every server I've had is insanely sweet, and everyone who works here is very friendly and good at their job.

“The best restaurant service out there. It’s hard not to be happy when you walk in and are greeted by everyone working there. They are also the most family friendly place I’ve been to. Immediately getting seated they brought our daughter graham crackers and fruit. It’s hard to find places that do those types of things without asking. The food is amazing and it tastes even better with the great service. Thank you!“

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!“

“Can’t get enough of these. Your sweet dough base makes these top shelf for me. The Texan is a little slice of home. Flavor of the month items are always so creative and delicious. Make your day start off great, grab a sweet and a savory. Don’t forget the sauces. Yum.“

“It was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We tried the Bec and the Manilla. Both were delicious. Wow that brioche bun was amazing. Everyone is very friendly. Keep in mind there's limited space outside and there's little protection from the sun. We added this place to our favorites and we'll be back as we want to try the Grumpy and the Bulgogi next.“

“Yo! This place is so incredibly good. I’m about to apply for a position to work for these folks just to figure out how they are making these sandwiches!! The classic scram? How do you perfect scrambled eggs like this? The flavor is out of this world! Bravas sauce, HOW? The Hoff, are you kidding me bro? I live 45 minutes from this place and have no issues spending nearly $100 to have the food delivered. I can’t be the only one. Genuinely the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. “have been there a couple dozen times and will keep going back the HOSS is the best thing but it is the only thing I have ever had but everything is great the waitresses are all very nice and helpful but please don't take my word for it get there and try it for yourself it is the best place to eat it is my Saturday morning spot the one on 1700 south was there yesterday. So get off the couch and please get to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade you will be happy you did... also get on the wait list before you get there it's a busy place because it is great“

“Hello there. I was at your SLC restaurant on South Foothill earlier today and am very pleased with the food I ordered (Has# Fried Chicken Benedict). However, I was very displeased with the number of times my server ran his hands over and through his hair (I counted 6) and never washed his hands before serving food - as he did to me. This disturbed me greatly - so much so that I could not finish my order and took the remainder home where I will look for any evidence of loose hair(s) before eating it. “Ok all you foodies looking for good food at a fair price, these Village Inns are the place to go. My wife and I travel up and down the Wasatch front We have visited many a breakfast house or restaurants that serve breakfast and have been disappointed to say the least. As we were driving through the town of Murray I remember the village inn so we stopped in to the village in and then (little poetry for y'all) decided to have their breakfast which as usual was very good I had chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and pancakes My wife had one of their skillets I had a orange juice, she had a coffee and it was just a good old-fashioned very tasty breakfast and it was Wednesday and after 10:00 in the morning it's free pie Wednesday They also have great pies I just have to tell you it's also a restaurant that actually gives you salt and pepper shakers cuz the salt and pepper really does come out without having to unscrew the lid and dribble it over your food in fact if you go there and you use the salt and pepper shakers it comes out really fast but that's okay with me It was great. So if you have a village inn and your town near you I highly recommend going there and just having a good old-fashioned breakfast.“

“3.5 stars, but vibes were good enough to bump up to a 4. Service was great and sitting outside was outrageously pleasant, fantastic place for a little bit of people- watching and neighborhood appreciation mixed in with your morning coffee.
The food was decent enough - it’ll likely be added to the weekend rotation of walkable brunch locales - but nothing mind-blowing. Breakfast sandwich was tasty with a soft bun, but could’ve used cheese, an aioli, and significantly more greens to really make it memorable. Avocado toast lacked seasoning but the peasant bread was yummy. Avoid the sausage unless you’re a fan of overly spiced and over-cooked Italian meatballs for breakfast. Drinks were good and the cocktails were the highlight!“
