“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“Love this place! I travel a lot and had to move away, but I always take my family back here every time I'm in town. Food is delicious, my husband loves it and my kids overeat. Our favorite savory dishes are Sesame Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, Spicy Pepper Beef. Side dishes such as vegetable fried rice, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, and cream cheese wontons are very basic but they are made well. I really took it for granted when I was living there. Now the next best place is in New York.“

“Went to this little cafe today and had a good time. The lunch menu is extremely good value and includes a choice of soup, choice of wanton or egg roll, rice and an entree. The food is traditional chinese-american dishes (sweet n sour, sesame chicken, lemon chicken etc) and is very good. The servers were very sweet and attentive. The atmosphere is like a little family cafe.

The sesame chicken was not much meat but great texture and comes with veggies for some good balance. The wuhan dry noodles were not as pictured, our's came with ramen noodles and were more nutty than spicy.“

“This is the best all around food for the taste, price, novelty, etc I have had in the valley. Their soup dumplings are great, their sweet buns custard/chocolate are my wife’s pregnancy craving, and their black pepper beef on fire is so good I have tried to make it at home to no avail. “Recently visited with friends and enjoyed the noodle soup—both mine and my friend’s were flavorful and satisfying, and the chili oil wontons were good tasting, though the texture was a little mushy. The bubble tea was typical of restaurant standards, but slightly diluted compared to what you’d get at a specialty shop. We did have an issue with the popcorn chicken, which came out undercooked, but the staff re-fried it. Still nothing to write home about. Overall, sticking to the noodle soups and dumplings here is a safe bet and makes for a solid meal.“

“We went for my mother's birthday dinner earlier this week, and it was fantastic! They were very accommodating of my grandmother and her her walker. The service was amazing as well. Our server was great, and our drinks were always full. We ordered the sesame chicken, chicken lettuce rolls, pon pon chicken, peppered beef, and sweet and sour chicken, and we loved everything! Will absolutely be coming back.“

P.F. Changs was on point once again. If you haven't been, they do an American-asian fusion and it's great. However, in large part the 5 star review is due to the fact that this particular PF Changs plays host to Amethyst. Simply the best server of the year! The grace she displayed - otherworldly. Her timing - sublime. She made the experience for our party. If you have the means, I highly recommend.“

“we tried Eiko Cafe SLC (1234 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City) and were so excited to try authentic Chinese food. they have your typical orange chicken and chow mein available, but we went for the boiled fish filet with pickled cabbage (left) and west lake beef soup (right). the fish dish was spicy, tender, savory and also had a slight numbing effect of the Sichuan peppercorn (yum!). the beef soup was the best thing to have on this snowy and wet day. our waitress introduced herself as Jasmine and was so excited to see us try what her family eats at home. she was very accommodating and so friendly! we will be back tomorrow and hope we can easily decide what things to get next… we want to try the entire menu.“

My wife and I went to Pei Wei today at the 10373 S State St, Sandy, UT location. I ordered the Salmon Poke Bowl, and my wife went for the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. First off, super yummy. Like, “I’m already planning my next visit” yummy.

But then came The Crispy Rice Stick Incident of 2025.
The lettuce wraps came with these rice sticks that were so hard, I swear if I had tried to chew them, my dentist would’ve been planning a Hawaiian vacation off my bill. Luckily, Pei Wei’s team stepped in like the customer service Avengers, remade the wraps without the tooth-traps, and did it for free.

Also — and this is a rare unicorn in modern dining — there was no pre-tip line at the register when I prepaid. This is the restaurant equivalent of finding an extra nugget in your Chick-fil-A box. Instant bonus points.

All in all, the food was great, the customer service was stellar, and my teeth remain intact. In this day and age, it’s not easy to find a place where you can get a great meal and not have to worry about something going sideways.

“We tried this place for the first time. I took my dad to try some Chinese food he hasn’t had before. It was amazingly delicious! We got pickled fish soup and beef brisket radish soup and we couldn’t decide what we liked more! My dad was apprehensive at first about trying pickled fish soup but we gave it a shot and it has become a new favorite. Our server was so polite and helpful about the menu, too. We will return!“

“30 years of perfection, exactly the same as my childhood memories after 25ish years. Lemon chicken is my favorite, the breading is so crunchy and the lemon glaze is so thick you can spoon it on like jello!

“Been trying many different places looking for a the big hole Kowloon left when they closed their doors, and I think I found the closest so far. Their egg foo young, although served differently with plenty of vegetables, the egg foo young and gravy was almost same taste. Although they don't do fried shrimp, they do fried prawns instead, with the famous Chinese mustard that is fantastic. The food was pretty good overall and tasty. The service was super nice and very helpful. My order did take a bit longer and had to wait for a tad longer, but wasn't too bad in the quiet restaurant. The atmosphere could be a little more, but still not too bad. A nice place to visit !!“

“HongKong Banjum is my absolute favorite restaurant in Utah! I always get the 짬뽕 (jjamppong) and it is always perfect. If you don’t like spicy, then the 짜장면 (jajangmyeon) is also amazing. I also highly recommend getting the 탕수육 (tangsuyuk).

“We love this place. The food is always consistent. They are willing to make small changes to our orders and we have never been disappointed. At first glance it is a little hole in the wall but the food makes everything worth it. We have done both dine in and take out. We have even had huge dinners with families and everyone loves it. I would say we eat here about once a month. Try it out you won’t regret it. I love the black bean chicken and hot and sour soup. They always use white meat and the flavors are robust. “I've gone to this place more often in the last few weeks than I'd like to admit. The szechuan beef noodle soup is incredible—very spicy, but so, so flavorful. The beef is so tender and the noodles are a perfect texture. A little expensive, but so worth it for the quality you get. I had a cold a few weeks ago that I'm pretty sure this bowl of soup cured. The dandan noodles and sticky rice are also delicious!“

I was impressed with how good it was.
We got the family dinner for 2 with chicken lo mein, ham fried rice and orange chicken. It also came with 2 egg rolls. I ordered also egg drop soup. And one drink. I believe it came out to about 43.00, which isn't bad because we had enough to take home and we ate it again at least 3x.
The lady who brought our food to us was very sweet and if she was the one doing the cooking, she did great. It was good food. Definitely recommend, especially because it can be difficult to find a good Chinese place and sometimes they're few and far between, but this ones a keeper.
Atmosphere was relaxed, not many other people in there. This was Saturday afternoon, so I hope more people go here and try it out!“

“First time here but have ready like it a lot more than the other hot pot restaurants or buffets we had in the past. The taste reminds me traditional hotpot that my big family used to gather and eat around Chinese new year in Northern China when I was little. “We received a flyer so we decided to try hunan Express because they have delivery and good prices. On a Saturday at 5:45 they delivered our food within a half hour! We live only a few miles away. Our food was fresh and hot and the fried shrimp was crispy. We got a dinner for two for 28.00 and it was a lot of food. I’m glad we found good Chinese food at a good price and have it delivered as well!“

“This was the best Subway service I have had! Thank you to Luis and Jeramiah. A smile goes a LONG way. Both of these gentleman had perfect customer service. My fiance and I were also very please with the sandwiches we ordered. HIGHLY recomend the honey mustard BBQ chicken on the ghost pepper bread. 10/10 . The seating area was neat and mostly clean (only a few wrappers on the floor).“
