I had trouble getting my mouth around it so I had to take smaller bites. I couldn't finish it. Lighter eaters could probably share a burger. I liked the batter on the onion rings. “Salt Egg City is located inside a highly curated food hall. When you walk in you will be welcomed by a beautiful mural and delicious smells. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I took a bite into the brioche, sighed, and thought wow. It was so good and comforting. Highly recommend coming here.“

Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. They made the entire process so easy and even packaged up all of the leftovers for us at the end of the night which we really appreciated. Both subs were STACKED, like, “did they accidentally give me extra meat?” stacked. Everything was fresh, juicy, and seasoned just right. Not dry, not skimpy… just pure sandwich perfection. Honestly, I had to pause mid-bite, call a manager, and appreciate what was happening!

The team was quick, friendly, and clearly knows what they’re doing. And shoutout to the manager, Thomas, whatever you’re doing back there, keep doing it, because your crew is killing it.

“We went into the Saratoga springs location and saw the magnificent looking cinnamon rolls. Much to our dismay there were no raisins and we are always on the lookout for raisins in our cinnamon rolls. Carl, the owner, said he’d make a pan with raisins for just for us. We took 10 huge cinnamon rolls home and the family indulged in the best rolls ever! Thanks Carl!“

“I got the Beef Dip sandwich, it was quite scrumptious. I saw some reviews that the cheese wiz can be overpowering so I got it on the side which made it nice to control how much I got in each bite. The au jus was thick and the rosemary flavor was a nice touch.

I got the small fries on the side, very good fries. They have a Cajun seasoning on them and there are a lot of sauces to try with them.“

“Generous portions, really enjoyed the steak hoagie. Being from Philly, I'm super picky about my cheesesteaks. Wish it had a touch more seasoning but no complaints and was enjoyable. The sport fries(we call them crab fries back home) are out of this world, 12 out of 10! Combined with the cheese sauce they are a taste of home that is fantastic. “I often forget how much a simple, well-made chicken carbonara sandwich can hit the spot. The combination of the complex, melt-in-your-mouth flavor of the chicken, combined with the crispiness of the rosemary bread, is so satisfying that it leaves me confused why this is the only Quiznos left in the entire Salt Lakes Valley. I was so excited to find it right here in a business district and I am delighted to report it's just as good as always.

Maybe if I deviated more I'd learn why Subway, the most boring sub shop, beat out Quiznos for Utah's affection, but for now I'm content with wondering while I enjoy my comfort sub.

“We ordered from Port Of Subs through an app called ezCater for a Halloween party we were having. I looked around for easy meal ideas for our party for a few days and after looking at some of the typical ones people use, I found that many places were crazy expensive AND, I would have to go pick it up myself. I found their options for catering really appealing, and the price was reasonable. I also love that they offer a veggie tray and most places don't. The other up side is that I didn't have to find a way to keep food warm like we would have had to for a taco bar or burgers etc. We ordered the Spectacular Sub Assortment which we got to pick 4 styles (Turkey & Provolone, Ham & American, Roast Beef and Provolone, and BLT) and had the bread type an assortment (white or wheat). We then had them put lettuce and tomato but had Mayo on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. We also ordered some chips, the Definitely Dessert Platter, and as I mentioned, the Vegetable Garden Splendor. You guys! not only were the sandwiches a hit, that veggie tray was AMAZING!!!! The dessert platter had brownies and cookies and they were sooo good, and ALL the sandwiches were gone at the end of the night. They had plenty of toppings on them and the bread was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend them and I will use them again when we need to cater something.“

On my second visit I was pleased to see a few more choices on the menu. I tried what amounted to a salad version of bun (vermicelli bowl). This worked out well for me being less carb-y and more salad-y with all the usual contrasts of cold/hot, fresh/cooked, mild/spicy.
