“Finally stopped by Rugged Grounds Coffee after seeing it a few times, and I’m honestly glad I did. I grabbed an iced mocha and a breakfast burrito before heading out, and both were way better than I expected. The coffee was smooth, had a strong espresso flavor without being bitter, and wasn’t overloaded with syrup. The burrito came out hot and actually tasted fresh, which was a nice surprise. The staff was super chill, got my order out fast, and made the whole experience feel welcoming. The shop had a relaxed, laid-back vibe that made me want to hang around a little longer instead of rushing out. Prices were fair, especially for the quality, and everything felt like it was made with care. Definitely one of those local coffee spots I’ll be pulling up to again whenever I need a solid cup of coffee.“

“I’m not sure what everyone is used to service wise but someone needs to tell some of the girls who work here to stop with the RBF and attitude. It’s NOT a flex to be a “ mean girl” and I know Utah is known for them. I just Don’t want to see them at my favorite place. PLEASE tell…. “This place was great! It’s in a great location, very close and convenient to my place. It is very inviting once you walk in. The staff is friendly. Not overpriced for some of the fancier coffee drinks. Pretty quiet but I think I went when it wasn’t too busy. And, My iced white mocha tasted great. I will be back for sure.“

“I must shout out to the gentleman (I do not know his name - he has ash/blond, longer hair and such a cute smile) working the drive-up window this morning (12.29.25) absolutely made my ENTIRE day!! It is obviously Monday so it was bad just because of that but I added a whole host of other 'fun' things' just in case I needed something extra. I missed my alarm, missed my exit on I-15, late for work/missed a meeting, make-up not done and what was done was trash, the list goes on... Needless to say, I had the worst morning E V E R!! I NEEDED Dutch Bros. in my life FOR sure today! So, I pull up and this nameless, very cute, gentleman working the window met me with an amazing smile and gratitude for coming 'in' this morning. He asked how my day was thus far and I let him have all of it; the alarm, the exit, my make-up - all of it! He didn't seem rushed, he never took his eyes away from me to look at the, I am sure, was a very long line behind me, he didn't seem or appear to be any sort of hurry to get me the hell out of the line. He just listened and .... took it upon himself to do what he could do to make my life better this morning. He listened with grace and compassion. I want him (and his boss) to know how amazing that was and just how much I appreciated him for taking time with me and proceed to help in a way that he could help - essentially, this crazy stranger - have a better day - and he was successful!! “Isaac makes a cup of coffee so well that I proposed to my girlfriend an hour later. We order a fairly complex cup of coffee that was designed by a friend of ours that used to work at Starbucks. Isaac asked follow up questions the first time we ordered and made it the best out of anyone that we’ve ordered the drink from. We came back every day that he worked the week that we were in town and we even invited him to the wedding. The man is magic!“

Love talking to the wonderful employees specifically Taylorsville employees, the produce has all great veggies and they are fresh! love the managers in fresh cut/produce. And every store has at least something I need. Love this grocery store and definitely recommend it to others!“

“Was my first time in and asked for a recommendation for what to drink. After ordering, I went to sit down and found an unwanted stranger at my table. After pointing out this disturbance, staff quickly helped kill and dispose of the winged pest. Never before have I seen such ruthless accuracy with a dish towel.“

“I have very specific orders that I want and would prefer to mobile order just to ensure my order is made correctly and to not bother the staff but everytime I check on the app, the mobile order option is not available. I guess my order was put in incorrectly so they had to re-put it in but it wasn't correct to what I had originally ordered. I felt bad having to ask them to correct it yet again. They kindly remade it for me but it was too milky (even though I ordered just 1/2 inch of milk), barely had any ice that the drink wasn't even cold, and there was hardly any caramel lining the cup as I ordered. I could tell it was frustrating for the staff and I was kind. I didn't want to bother them again but at that point I wished I had just asked for a refund bc after all of that, my drink wasn't even made properly. I ended up going to another location, explained the situation, threw that one away, and got a new one that was made correct to order the first try. The workers here tend to be kind and I go often enough that there are some I appreciate but it seemed as if there was some tension within the team and they were more focused on being right and doing things correctly but not making my drink correctly. It was just a little frustrating of an experience and very time-consuming. Thankful for the staff trying to work with me but then after all of that, I didn't even walk away satisfied with a good drink. So just a little disappointing. Having mobile order available more often would be really helpful in situations like these so customers can ensure they're putting in their order correctly without stressing the staff out more and so we can get there and have our drinks ready for us when we get there.

All the other times I've been here I've had great service and it has never been too busy and for the most part, my drinks are made correctly.“
