“Great products and great service. What more can you ask for? My story if you’re interested in the extent this small bakery goes through for service. I live in Idaho. My parents in West Jordan. I like to get them treats on occasion. Getting a good product, you never see and getting it to them at the right time has been the challenge. This latest occasion was for Father's Day 2023. I looked up some local bakeries on google that I hoped could deliver in time and had good reviews. I didn't know what to expect when I got in touch with the Flour Box Bakery. It was after hours when I sent a message on their website, expecting to be contacted the next day. I received a message from Gienie (pronounced Jenny if I'm not mistaken) at 9:42 PM that night. We texted and agreed Friday at 9AM to talk. As agreed, she called me on time. Of course, as timing goes, I wasn’t available to talk. She texted me again to follow up. We texted and talked and all of it was smooth and helpful. Initially I was looking for delivery but upon ordering I had a change of plans. I bounced back and forth between pickup and delivery a few times. Gienie was amazing and patient with her accommodations. Not only did she take care of what I needed, she gave great advice. She texted me when the baking was completed and another when it was delivered. She also threw in a few favorites as “extras” at no charge, which was not necessary but appreciated. I didn't get to personally taste the product being in Idaho. I did confirm with my parents who gave rave reviews on the baked goods and friendliness of servcie. I look forward to trying other products and will be ordering more on my next trip to visit. Thank you Gienie.“

“The app is very easy to use. They will bring your order right to your car at the time you've ordered it and they are always wonderful. The cookies are tasty and delightful as well!

Wheelchair accessibility: I'm always on crutches (I have not had to use my electric chair) and they always bring my cookies to the car for me. All the stores I have visited have plenty of room to accommodate my chair if needed.“

“The best day to come to the bakery is Tuesday also it's double punch day which means when you buy a dozen of donuts they will punch your card twice. My favorite A loaf of bread for $1.25 each fresh. Every day. They always have a variety of donuts/specials etc“

Parking: Large parking lot, never have to drive around to find a spot. Always plenty available.

Wheelchair accessibility: It doesn't have a fancy push button that opens the door for you but you could ride up in there if someone held the door for you“

“Great place for a cozy breakfast meal. The breakfast hash with poached eggs was really good and the butter croissant was filling and super tasty. Very reasonably priced! $17 before tip for those two items and filed us both up. Would definitely come back. Staff was friendly as well.“

“I am putting a 5 star because the lady at self checkout was amazing. Very helpful. I came in on this day October 23 2024. Left at 2:55pm I was having problems with my credit card so the selfcheck out lady told me to go to the customer service. I didn't catch anyone's name in a panic. But when I got to the customer service I told her my card wouldn't go through and she said well why is that. Ok first off you probably deal with a lot of crap through out the day but come on. Like I had no idea what was going on with my card. Just the way she acted towards me instead of being like ok let's try it she commented on my card amount. I am embarrassed as it is that my card isn't going through. Can we just move this along so I can leave.“

“The service is always very good but today it was very bad, a person who was bagging threw the bread into the bag and it looks very bad. That's food and you don't have to do it that way. Another point is that she told the cashier the total and the cashier was wrong and the person who was bagging raised her voice and told her the total again. If she is upset, the person should take it out at home, not on the people around her at work. I hope another day she has a better day.“

“Their pastry base is probably the best I’ve ever had. Flaky crispy perfection. I would like to see more sweet flavor options though. Highly recommend!“

“Tiny little place, good selection for the size. Lots of that wonderful lovely fluffy football-shaped bread in a case by the counter. I paid $5 plus change for five items so good prices in my estimation, and the gentleman at the counter was quiet but pleasant. There were other things in the cooler besides baked goods, but I couldn't tell you what they were because that's not why I was there! I actually went later in the afternoon and everything, including the bread, was still fresh. And honestly, I have no idea what I ate but it was all very good. I'm not in town for long, but yes, I will go back.

Parking: Very narrow parking lot as the building sits close to the road. Plenty of parking, just be careful getting in and out of the lot.“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“Wow! Mandy is soooo talented and sweet. Our cake was talked about by all of our guests. It tasted so good. We got a four tier with chocolate peanut butter, lemon berry, and chocolate sea salt caramel. She is so easy to work with and after trying sooooo many different cakes around salt lake, she is by far the best! Don’t hesitate to book her.“

One but!!! I opened a mega loaf 2 days ago and seen it was burnt!!! Seeds and crust were burnt brownish/BLACK IN ALL THE loaves I’ve bought. Even the middle had a funky taste I’ve never ever tasted before.“

Also, I don't think I have ever had a better croissant.Their digestibility corrected labels are genius because they help you know what you'll actually digest, and I've definitely seen and felt the difference between eating normal nachos and WiO nachos!“

“I originally was placing an order with another bakery in SLC 3 weeks ahead. They canceled because I didn’t respond over the weekend even though I was in constant contact about details of the cake for a full week and a half prior to them canceling on me. I’m grateful they cancelled. I was nervous since my daughter specifically told me she wants a fondant cake. I wasn’t sure if anyone would do it so late. Sprinkle Me Frosted took my order no problem and I didn’t even give her much details about the cake I wanted. I said fondant layer and flowers in buttercream since I know buttercream probably easier to do. I was ordering so late. She went above and beyond and did some flowers buttercream but did the daisies fondant. She decorated the cake so beautifully not to mention the cake was moist and so delicious. The fondant daisies ended being my kids favorite to peel them off and eat like candy! Thank you for the amazing cake. Unfortunately I’m iffy when it comes to beautiful cakes because I’ve had some where the cake crumbles like a dry cookie but this was a delicious and beautiful fun cake!“

“Great service. Nice and approachable. I generally don't like these types of bakeries because I think all the pastries look good but they then are dry and not sweet enough. But these were good. I had a braided pastry with nut and cream which was good. The tres leches cake my husband had, (he said) wasn't that great. But we got a great deal on a bag of pastries.“

“We have adored this Perkins in the past. It had been a few years since our last visit since we just stop by when we're passing through the area. They've transitioned from a full service restaurant to kind of a cafe style which is fine but not entirely made clear. The food was a bit disappointing. It was almost cafeteria grade. Usually, Perkins serves meals that feel like they're home made and made to order, but this time, it seemed like everything had just been plopped on the plate and reheated. I hate wasting food, but I couldn't even finish my stuffing or green beans which were both soggy and seemed old. I gave an overall 4 since my previous experiences were definitely 5 star, but I'm afraid that from what I saw this trip that it's likely this wasn't a fluke and that the quality has significantly lessened for this location.“
