“I went to lunch with my Father-In-Law and I ordered the Loco Combo which comes with 3 gringas (ayooo) and a drink. The carne asada, chicken, and pastor meats were delicious and the salsa bar was fresh. Must try Mexican food if you’re in Provo.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. The family enjoyed all of their food/orders. I got the Sonora Style burrito and it was huge, delicious and filled to the brim. Wife and daughter each got a carne asada quesadilla and there was so much cheese and the meat was so tender, juicy and flavorful. My son got the carne asada nachos and he devoured every last chip and helped finish off the last bites of quesadillas. The people working were very nice and the location was very easy to find and get to. Highly reccomend.“

I ordered the Morita dish with a side of red rice and spaghetti. Spaghetti was whatever yet the DEEP, SMOKY FLAVOR OF THE MORITA SAUCE WAS AMAZING!! After they brought chips and salsa to the table, and their red salsa had a dash of smoky flavor, I had high hopes for this dish, and they didn't disappoint! We'd love to know how they got their chicken so tender.

My girlfriend got the Mole Poblano dish, and loved it as well.

“We had just landed in Utah from Virginia and found Salsa Madre at a craft market. We tried a few salsas and got Tamales, salsa and horchata to go. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! The pork in the tamales had a perfect spicy deep flavor. The salsas had a wide profile of flavors. Definitely hit them up!“

“Look no further. We are Arizona transplants to Utah, and we have been looking for Mexican food of the kind and quality that we were spoiled with when we lived in AZ. After nearly a decade in UT, we have found it in Erazo Mexican Restaurant. The food is so good, the menu is well rounded, and I've never had a better Horchata in my life. The owner is welcoming and kind. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned just days later with our kids. So excited to make this place a regular in our rotation.“

I've tried every place and always go back to Don Joaquin for the street tacos (any of them are amazing) and the campechano burritos (campechano there is steak and chorizo)...those are two of my favorites but I honestly haven't had anything I didn't like there. The tongue and brisket are great on/with anything also. Try any item on the menu...you'll love it.“

“I live close to this location and know the owner lady and her son and they're both super friendly! The angry little man that's been working Saturday and Sundays(most recent bad visit on 7/21/24) lately needs a hug or something! On my visit today I was paying at the drive thru and simply asked for the hot sauces I wanted and he kinda scoffs and slams the window! He did the same thing after handing the food over. He also acted the same way a couple weeks ago, as well as on other weekends prior. I'm aware people have bad days, but this isn't the 1st or 2nd time this angry little man has acted the same way. Dude needs a HUGE hug, or just take him away from the window! If I hadn't had multiple bad attitude issues with him I'd give 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all around! I will talk to the owner and/or son when I see them next. Hopefully they'll just pull him away from the drive thru.“

Only issue was that I ordered chorizo without egg, and they repeated back to me “no cheese?”, and I said no, I want the cheese and chorizo and potatoes, just no egg, and when I got it there was no cheese (and no egg). Still good, but a little dry without the cheese.“

“Always love the food at cafe Rio. I will say though, my husband and I have noticed a big change in employee excitement since cafe rio’s early days in Utah. There was definitely a vibe. The cafe Rio that used to be right by the old movies 8 theater was full of happy employees who would always make you smile. Now they all seem like they are definitely at work and tired of asking “black or pinto”. No matter the location. It doesn’t stop us from eating there, but it does take a star away.“
