“Went to Midvale Mining Cafe again. We always get the ham and cheese omelets and the French toast did the same today. Food’s always good classic diner stuff.
Didn’t catch our server’s name this time because I think she’s new and she never really came back around much. Happens sometimes. Still we like the place and will keep coming back.“

“The food is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. However, no one is wearing gloves or washing their hands after touching a range of services. I am sure they are up to code, but maybe don't grab the inside of a sauce container when you go to fill it with sauce, after touching the filthy payment screen? Will go again nonetheless.“

“Love the food here and the servers are great but after being here for an hour, the manager actually came to our table and told us to leave. Said the wait list is long and we can go to the lobby to socialize. By the way the lobby was nearly empty. We asked to talk to the manager, he said he was it and when we asked if he was serious, he chuckled and said yes. We even left an extra $20 for the server because we knew we’d be here longer. We are a paying table. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant - this is not how you treat your customers. Not a good practice to get people to come back. SO DISAPPOINTING!!!“

“My wife and I heard about the wonderful and amazing food, service and atmosphere while living in Arkansas. Knowing we were going through Salt Lake on vacation we just had to stop and taste for ourselves. Wow, is an understatement. Everything from the wonderful salad, the most amazing Brussels sprouts on earth to an even better New Zealand Elk steak and our server Sara was an amazing experience I wish everyone could partake. “Came in my first time today, I was a bit nervous since I haven't eaten Korean before. The guy was super cool and chill. The prices were good for sure. The food was really good, I ordered the kpop fried and the K-noodles. I really enjoyed the food!“

I usually do the drive thru, and usually don’t get a drink, but it was nice to see they have a lite pink lemonade. We also like getting our dog a doggie Pattie without salt, which he loves. We enjoy burgers animal style and fries animal style.“

“They are under new Management!! Which is great. Staff if better and so is the service. I would say if you haven't been in awhile try again. Also new servers on the overnight shifts. You don't have to worry. He pays great attention and very friendly.“

“This place is great for fast food! Their burgers are super good and the workers are always friendly and as fast as they can be. It does take a little while for your food to cook but that's just how all Culvers are. Would definitely recommend!“

“We ordered the vanilla milk shake, Houdini, the tri-tip torta, mac & cheese with breadcrumbs and the maple sweet potato fries (Which turned out to be the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had in my life perfectly,( everything from there has been an intensely good)

Fries had the right amount of salt on the outside. They were not greasey. They were crispy on the outside and smooth texture in the middle. Fresh for sure! And the maple dipping song was a home run!!

“This place was a decent surprise! Sadly I don’t remember the waitress’s name, but she’s a brunette, Caucasian girl who reportedly “doesn’t usually work Mondays 😂”. She was great company! Gave recommendations as well as bartender’d up a few drinks for us.

I came for dinner on a work trip and for many of my team, this was our first impression of Utah, let alone the food. I just want to say thank you for having us and I’ll definitely try to fit this place into my next visit!

PS: The “Big Ass Pretzel” is genuinely a Big Ass Pretzel! 😂 (delicious too)“

Burger 7/10. The patty didn't seem that great. I'd heard rave reviews, but I've had plenty of better burgers in SLC. They say they're made from scratch daily but to me it seemed like a flavor-lacking frozen patty. Surely it wasn't. Maybe just a bad day. And maybe they use extra lean meat which means less fat and flavor. Not sure.

“I have been coming to the Midvale Golden Corral for years. Not only is the food excellent but your staff at the restaurant are very professional and do an excellent job. My group of friends especially like Nikki and kristy. They make our eating experience enjoyable.“
