“I wish I could score higher than a 5/5. This place is perfection. The vibes are immaculate. We went on a Saturday morning, and there was a live band playing light cafe music. They have outdoor and indoor seating which gives it almost a European cafe vibe.

The service was great as well, but the food and atmosphere stole the show. We got the toffee nut latte, a cappuccino, the avocado toast with bacon and the cottage cakes. Every single thing we got was spectacular and we scraped our plates cleans.“

It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

I recommend it to anyone in Holladay looking for a casual and no-fuss bite to eat. “I recently discovered Picnic Cafe and have visited 3 times since discovery. They may not be known for their everything bagels but they are very good for SLC. Each time, I have ordered an iced strawberry matcha and my partner usually drinks an iced latte. The iced latte's are good and reliable. The iced raspberry matcha is on the sweeter side, in my opinion. The sweetness is not overwhelming but is notable compared to my other go-to matcha spot.

They have a quaint inside seating area with spots to get work done. If you're there to chat, their outdoor patio is where I'd choose to sit. Parking throughout the neighborhood around, there are not assigned spots available.

My one complaint is that they open at 8 am. I would love to occasionally stop by on my way to work but that is far to late. I haven't been to any other coffee shops in SLC that aren't open until 8.“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“These guys serve the best BBQ we've had. My wife had the brisket, and I had the pork sandwiches. The meat was tender, flavorful, non-fatty, and served in a generous portion. We both had the sweet BBQ sauce - wonderful! For our sides, we had coleslaw and macaroni salad. Both were great.

The staff was on it, pleasant to work with, and kept the area spotless. I love businesses like this!
