Restaurantji's Moab recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine. Enjoy the best Tacos, Carnitas, Chicken Fajitas, and more in the city.
“La Preferida, is a small out of the way taco truck next door to a industrial fabrication building. While it is off the main strip it should not be missed if your looking for Mexican food in Moab. Each dish is made to order and it won't be sitting underneath any sort of heat lamp. Instead it pops out of the window into your waiting arms where you can take it to go or enjoy it on their outdoor tables. The food is top tier and you should be making the trip to this truck if you need some good food.“
“✨The BEST Quesadilla✨✨After a long day of hiking we stopped for quesadillas - and we were shocked with how good these were! Being from Texas we get really good Mexican food, but this was for real one of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had.✨Large Portions - none of us could finish our quesadillas. They were packed with meat, cheese and other fillings. The flavor was so good too!Would highly recommend this place to anyone!“
“Delicious!!!! The meat and tortillas are perfect. The flavors balance perfectly. We ordered burria, carnitas and chicken tacos. The outside is a bit unassuming but the culinary experience leaves you with the desire to return. Food made with family recipes and love. We always eat here when we are in Moab.“
“I'm particular about mexican food, especially in tourist areas. Giliberto's was absolutely great! I had their carne asada burrito and was pleasantly surprised. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful, and it was the authentic real deal of southwest mexican food. Get some refreshing jaimica or horchata and you won't be disappointed!“
“We came in from a recommendation from a family friend and had a great time.Atmosphere is great and service was wonderful. We were worried they were going to be busy during Easter Jeep safari week but before 6 we were able to walk right in.I ended up splitting a meal with my brother dinner for two Tapatio flaming. It came out on fire! It pretty much is a fajita style meal with chicken, stake, bacon wrapped shrimp.Everyone in our party loved the food and would suggest anyone craving Mexican style food to head on in.“
“Went here on a spring break trip with our kids and it was great. Not sure where some of the bizarre, negative reviews are coming from, but don't hesitate to come here if you want a good meal. Got the top shelf margarita and it was made with fresh lime juice and good tequila. We got pork tacos, chicken fajitas, the kids enchilada with steak, and the kids quesadilla with pork. All were delicious. We tried both the red and green sauce for the enchiladas and both were tasty. The salsa was fresh with lots of good cilantro and the guac was good too. Wait staff was friendly and the food came out fast. Highly recommended.“
“over all good food, reasonable price for moab... I would definitely eat here again.margaritas are big, good price, but just average taste in my opinion... house margarita was the best I tried, Italian margarita was too syrupychili Verde was ok... not what I hope for.but, again, I will be back when in town“
“The food was delicious. Home made Mexican food at its best. We had birria and it was finger-licking. The owner was happy and friendly. We were visitors in Moab, and we saw local regulars placing orders while we ate. This taco truck breakfast made our day!!!!! Thank you! See you again next year!“
