We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“This is by far my favorite ramen place in Utah. I’ve been so many times and realized I’ve never written a review. As someone who has spent a considerable amount of time in Japan their Tsukemen is the closest thing I’ve found to Japan. I get it every time and it’s 100% my comfort meal. I can’t recommend it enough. I bring all my family and friends here.“

The Playboy Roll, which is sort of my go to roll, I'm torn if they are number 1 or 2 when it comes to the place I like it the most. but we have enjoyed many other rolls their. but we also appreciate their wall of ramen which is great for my daughter who is trying to like more sushi, but isn't all the way there yet. it make it easy for her to still get a full dinner, but also try some sushi as well. “So glad we found this place!! The food was great quality and good portions.

My friend is gluten free and they can pretty much make anything for him that's not tempura because, get this, they use REAL CRAB!! Not the imitation crab like many other places that contains gluten fillers to make up the texture. (delicious, but a bummer for glutards that can't eat it)

Service was fast and we walked away feeling very satisfied with what we ordered. 10/10, and we will definitely be returning again!

“Pepper Lunch was on my list of restaurants to try during a trip to Tokyo this past April, but I unfortunately wasn’t able to. Imagine my surprise when I found out that one had opened right here in Riverton!

The food is absolutely fantastic, and appears very fresh. It’s served sizzling hot right on your own personal heated platter, guaranteeing your meal won’t go cold. I ordered a Jumbo Beef with a fountain drink, and paid around $22. For the quality, taste, and freshness of the food, I thought this was an exceptional value.

Don’t forget to ask for a loyalty punch card! For every 8 meals purchased (technically 7, since one spot is already pre-filled) you’ll get a free meal.

Pepper Lunch absolutely lived up to the hype from when I was researching my original Japan trip, and I’ll be frequently coming back. Please open up some more Utah locations!“

First the Food. Everything is freshly made, hot, and very good. I've had the chicken, steak, and salmon teriyaki, all of which are fantastic. The plates are massive, and I often have lots of leftovers. The smaller bowls are also a full meal, and often what I order. The drinks are made fresh as well, and I am fond of the Thai Tea and Sakura Coffee. The Boba is fresh made and hot, which makes for a really fun and unique experience, with the ice cold beverage and warm Boba. Its a treat!
Their sushi is also fairly good.

The staff is great. The owners are extremely nice, and very helpful.

The restaurant is small, but well taken care of. Its clean, bright, and not too loud.

The chef was very talented, lots of the normal hibachi experience: throwing eggs, fire, throwing shrimp in each persons mouth, etc. the food was delicious and each thing was the perfect temperature. “As always it's fantastic! Server Maximus was very knowledgeable about the menu and found us a new favorite sushi roll even though we've been going to Tsunami a few times a year for YEARS!! We had our drinks, miso soup, and cucumber salads within 5 minutes of arriving. Then we had our delicious sushi within 15 minutes of arriving!! We didn't feel rushed but were completely done with our meal within 30 minutes! This is my absolutely favorite place to eat out! The food NEVER misses and servers are always so friendly and knowledgeable! Will never get enough of coming here!!“
