Tuga Treats Bakery •
794 W 850 N St, Pleasant Grove

“My whole experience with Tuga Treats was just delightful!! My husband lived in Portugal for a couple of years and I wanted to surprise him for his birthday with some authentic Portuguese treats. Cristina made the most delicious treats, and my husband said they were exactly like what you would get in Portugal! Cristina was also willing and happy to make the treats on a different day than her usual baking days to accomodate me for his birthday, which I really appreciated!! Everything she made was amazingly delicious, Cristina was very communicative and quick to respond to my inquiries, and she was so sweet and friendly!! I will definitely be ordering more from her in the future!!“

Macey's Pleasant Grove Bakery • $$
931 W State St, Pleasant Grove

“Macey’s is the only grocery store brave enough to stock a snack called ‘Dietz Nuts’ right at eye level like they want middle aged dads to lose all self control in aisle 7.

I walked by and heard three grown men giggling like 12 year olds while one whispered, ‘Bro… spicy Dietz Nuts.’

Honestly, 5 stars for commitment to the bit. The packaging even says ‘contains no actual nuts,’ which somehow makes it even funnier. Macey’s didn’t just sell snacks today, they sold a fully immersive comedy experience.“
