Tuga Treats Bakery •

“My whole experience with Tuga Treats was just delightful!! My husband lived in Portugal for a couple of years and I wanted to surprise him for his birthday with some authentic Portuguese treats. Cristina made the most delicious treats, and my husband said they were exactly like what you would get in Portugal! Cristina was also willing and happy to make the treats on a different day than her usual baking days to accomodate me for his birthday, which I really appreciated!! Everything she made was amazingly delicious, Cristina was very communicative and quick to respond to my inquiries, and she was so sweet and friendly!! I will definitely be ordering more from her in the future!!“

“I’m really sad to write this review. We have shopped here for years, spent tens of thousands of dollars here and have loved the Kong Kones. Since their recent migration to Instacart for order pickup (we don’t do delivery) not only have the prices gone up. The customer service seems to have gone down. I spoke to supervisor tonight named Hannah who was very rash and cold with me, when I brought up a simple missing item. She claimed to have personally “picked and dropped the order off” when it was a man who came to our car… I was then told to “work with Instacart” because they didn’t know what else to do. I’m understanding of that, these peer shopping/delivery apps, that’s how they work. What I’m really not ok with is the “not my job not my problem” attitude and lack of willingness to even discuss that there was an error made. I’m really disappointed in this interaction and the change to Instacart (though I know this likely won’t change anything). I don’t write these reviews very often , so I’m sad to do it this time. But I’m really bothered by it.

** Just an update. The normal person who helps us reached out and offered to deliver the items that were missed. This is the service we love. Everyone has a bad day I understand. Thank you for making it right! I’ve updated my review. **“
