“One of my favorite spots. They're so friendly. They are quick and accurate with orders. The only thing is, is about half of the time, they're not open AT 5:30AM like they're supposed to be.
Vegetarian options: They're always happy to substitute my drinks w a non-dairy option.“
“The Starbucks was inside of the Marriott hotel. I liked that they allowed for ordering on the app ahead of time, but you were required to use a Starbucks card and not allowed to use a credit card. Would recommend to others who are staying in the hotel or walking nearby, but would not recommend to somebody driving through Salt Lake City. Unsure where you’d park if you were driving to the location just for Starbucks. Everything is as expected at any other Starbucks.“
“Was recently at this store and the gentleman gave away free samples of this seasons pumpkin spice latte on ice with whipped cream, they were superb and free WOW!! Of course it made me want to buy 2 more... The girl working there a week prior was kind and caring and gave me time to finish my drink as she was closing up, even though it was almost past the hour that she had to start mopping and closing. she was patient and gave me local resources as well. Thank you for your service.“
“The people are so nice here. A great Starbucks. The parking situation can be a little tricky, but the staff is top notch & was very kind and immediately responsive to a deaf friend of mine, & not all places of business are so great with that. They didn't miss a beat and communicated great!“

This Starbucks location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City is a gem! I stopped by late morning and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the store itself had a cozy, split-level design with large windows that let in tons of natural light – perfect for people-watching or just relaxing with your drink.
I ordered the new Vt Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher and a Venti Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with two pumps of brown sugar syrup (decaf). Both drinks were delicious and refreshing – the lemonade especially stood out with its vibrant colors and fun berry inclusions, perfect for a warm day.
The service was quick, and my drinks were ready within minutes. The store was clean, the atmosphere inviting, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the middle of the action with great city views through the windows.
Total came to $15.97, including tax and tip – worth every penny for the quality and ambiance. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re downtown and need a caffeine fix or just a chill spot to hang out.“
“Gotta admit, it’s hard work being a caffeinated beverage architect these days. The customer service here was kind of upper mid, not bad, not amazing, but honestly, that’s what you’d expect when a place is running at full speed all day long. My drink came out right, it tasted good, and the vibe was pretty much what you want from a Starbucks. Not sure why it’s sitting at a 3.8 overall, but hey… averages gotta average.“
“I frequent this location, but I wanted to leave positive feedback for help I got from Julie-Anne at this location. I like the flavor of the Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, but the sugar is usually too much for me. Julie-Anne was helping me with alternative options, such as reducing the amount of syrup used and removing the whipped cream, but she went above and beyond and discussed how the milk options affect the perception of sugar, offering an analytical approach for a pretty standard problem. I appreciated her attention with my request!“
“People behind the counter are great ?! I have to say that they are ALWAYS ?, really!! I don't think these two have EVER had a bad day ?. To be honest, I don't really go for the coffee ☕...Now, if they would be somewhere other than (the most UNLIKEABLE Smith's Food!!) maybe I would stop making my own coffee.“

“The hospital lobby is a light, hopeful space and Starbucks is just off the main space. Nearby is a grand piano and it is frequently played by Utah professional pianists. I was at the hospital (my husband was a patient) for 3 weeks and don't recall seeing the same pianist twice! So, enjoy a coffee and relax to the music.“
“Definitely one of the more minimalistic stores out there, but the staff makes it great. Just be warned that they're owned by the hotel, so purchases won't count toward star streaks, you can't tip from the app, and they don't do mobile ordering (you still get stars - this info is accurate as of 6/21/19).“
“I had an awful morning. On my way to work I stopped through the drive thru. I had tears in my eyes. The man who helped me asked me if I was okay, I just said I was having a rough morning. He told me not to worry about paying and I hope you have a better day. It made me cry harder and realize there is still caring people out there. Thank you“
“Sam was probably the best starbucks barista I've had and I've had a lot of coffee. She was so friendly and social which I loved and she even stayed a few minutes late to make sure our drinks were made and tasted how my boyfriend and I wanted. This girl deserves and raise and promotion!“
“I was riding around downtown salt lake on a very hot day felt horrible went to Starbucks and the ac was blasting, I felt better just walking through the door but the care and service were exceptional this was mid august 2025 and I will never forget going from miserable to exceptional. Bravo to the kind hearted folks behind the counter who pay close attention to others needs, I sincerely wish more Emergency rooms did the same.“

“I've had a really rough day and went in for a pick me up. The lovely gentleman at the register, whose name I regretfully didn't catch, picked this up. His small act of kindness really made a huge difference and brightened my whole day. Now I can finish off the year feeling a bit better. <3“
“The staff works very hard which is appreciated. The annoying part was ordering a cheese danish and water. I got the pastry very quickly then waited 10 minutes for my water I finally asked about it they told me they don’t serve water anymore and I shouldn’t have been allowed to order it … I understand and respect policies but if you mess up and allow someone to order it and they wait 10 minutes, you should make an exception to correct your own error. You still have venti cups, you still have ice and you still have water, it was not impossible to do. I would have ordered a coffee had I have known but didn’t want to get back in line and wait another 15 minutes there and another 15 on my drink. I respect the staffs efforts as they were busy, however when an error is made on the business side it should be corrected on the business side as well. Sincerely a pregnant and very thirsty woman.“
“I absolutely love this place the best Starbucks to go to. I took my date to a coffee here and wow it was wonderful. Cappuccino here is my all time favourite. Also the atmosphere here is ridiculously great, stunning, amazing, spell bounding, mood setter, enthusiastic, awesome, cool and I am short of more words to say but I hope you get what I am trying to say.“
