“I absolutely love this place the best Starbucks to go to. I took my date to a coffee here and wow it was wonderful. Cappuccino here is my all time favourite. Also the atmosphere here is ridiculously great, stunning, amazing, spell bounding, mood setter, enthusiastic, awesome, cool and I am short of more words to say but I hope you get what I am trying to say.“
“The girl that was working on Sunday, November 19, 2023 was so amazing and so nice to me. Thank you so much for the birthday drink. It was delicious I had the gingerbread oat milk chai and it made my shopping experience there at Smith’s 1000 times better she was very sweet and so friendly and I am super grateful to her.

This Starbucks location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City is a gem! I stopped by late morning and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the store itself had a cozy, split-level design with large windows that let in tons of natural light – perfect for people-watching or just relaxing with your drink.
I ordered the new Vt Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher and a Venti Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with two pumps of brown sugar syrup (decaf). Both drinks were delicious and refreshing – the lemonade especially stood out with its vibrant colors and fun berry inclusions, perfect for a warm day.
The service was quick, and my drinks were ready within minutes. The store was clean, the atmosphere inviting, and the location couldn’t be better – right in the middle of the action with great city views through the windows.
Total came to $15.97, including tax and tip – worth every penny for the quality and ambiance. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re downtown and need a caffeine fix or just a chill spot to hang out.“
“This is one my favorite stores! It is not plagued by a rude, entitled staff that has a dark or superiority complex, and everyone at this store is very friendly, rational and the store is not brought down by Salt Lake City’s annoying and criminal loitering problem (a result of no law enforcement). Lastly, this amazing store makes orders exactly as they are requested and the staff is so willing to modify an order upon the request of customers. This is the formula to a successful business and experience.
All of the above comments cannot, in ANY capacity, be said for the 421 East 400 South and the 80 South Main Street, Salt Lake City locations, both of which I will never, ever visit again!“
“The people are so nice here. A great Starbucks. The parking situation can be a little tricky, but the staff is top notch & was very kind and immediately responsive to a deaf friend of mine, & not all places of business are so great with that. They didn't miss a beat and communicated great!“
“One of my favorite spots. They're so friendly. They are quick and accurate with orders. The only thing is, is about half of the time, they're not open AT 5:30AM like they're supposed to be.
Vegetarian options: They're always happy to substitute my drinks w a non-dairy option.“
“Definitely one of the more minimalistic stores out there, but the staff makes it great. Just be warned that they're owned by the hotel, so purchases won't count toward star streaks, you can't tip from the app, and they don't do mobile ordering (you still get stars - this info is accurate as of 6/21/19).“
“Great out of the way Starbucks located on the south west corner of the block just inside the Marriott lobby. Large open lobby of Starbucks. The attentive staff always makes me feel welcome every time I come in. My order was correct and delicious. Great job team! Parking in city creek parking is available and the first two hours are free.
Parking: Parking at city creek parking is free for the first two hours and access is easy. The parking lot gate scans your ticket and if less than two hours the gate come up. If you have been there longer than two hours just use your visa it is really easy to use.
Wheelchair accessibility: Access through the front door of the Marriott hotel. The lobby is all one level with elevators to other floors and to city creek shopping,parking lot.“
“This Starbucks is probably one of the busiest locations in the valley because it is located in the U of U Hospital and healthcare providers are always tired & overworked. The amount of volume and fast service this location still does is so impressive, I give props to these baristas! Literally they are keeping this hospital going and running.The drinks have always been made properly and have always been just as delicious even with how busy the baristas are. I enjoy Frappuccino's the most, especially the Mocha Cookie Crumble one, so that is my usual order. I think because of the amount of orders that come through in a day, they do not allow online orders to mess with the queue (is what I believe), which may be kind inconvenient for some, but this location is almost purely for healthcare providers, so those who NEED a coffee will come and wait in the long-looking, but actually short line.Most people that come by the Starbucks do no sit in the area, they normally take their drink and go. This is a high-volume, to-go based Starbucks, so the turn over in the area is quite a lot and so there will normally be seats available if you're looking to sit. It may look crowded, but it's just providers waiting for their drink to take back to their unit.“
“Sam was probably the best starbucks barista I've had and I've had a lot of coffee. She was so friendly and social which I loved and she even stayed a few minutes late to make sure our drinks were made and tasted how my boyfriend and I wanted. This girl deserves and raise and promotion!“

“I had an awful morning. On my way to work I stopped through the drive thru. I had tears in my eyes. The man who helped me asked me if I was okay, I just said I was having a rough morning. He told me not to worry about paying and I hope you have a better day. It made me cry harder and realize there is still caring people out there. Thank you“
“I love this Starbucks. Where to begin. Staff is excellent, cordial, and they make great coffees, etc. Space is open with plenty of seating. Good energy environment. Plugs at the tables, cushioned bench seating or tables. Outside seating available as well. Bright, cheery, and inviting. Great place to hang out with friends or stop in for a quick drink and spend time with friends. Easy to turn into from 224, with lots of parking. My favorite drink, Chai Latte - they always get it right.“
“The hospital lobby is a light, hopeful space and Starbucks is just off the main space. Nearby is a grand piano and it is frequently played by Utah professional pianists. I was at the hospital (my husband was a patient) for 3 weeks and don't recall seeing the same pianist twice! So, enjoy a coffee and relax to the music.“
“People behind the counter are great ?! I have to say that they are ALWAYS ?, really!! I don't think these two have EVER had a bad day ?. To be honest, I don't really go for the coffee ☕...Now, if they would be somewhere other than (the most UNLIKEABLE Smith's Food!!) maybe I would stop making my own coffee.“
“I've had a really rough day and went in for a pick me up. The lovely gentleman at the register, whose name I regretfully didn't catch, picked this up. His small act of kindness really made a huge difference and brightened my whole day. Now I can finish off the year feeling a bit better. <3“
“The staff works very hard which is appreciated. The annoying part was ordering a cheese danish and water. I got the pastry very quickly then waited 10 minutes for my water I finally asked about it they told me they don’t serve water anymore and I shouldn’t have been allowed to order it … I understand and respect policies but if you mess up and allow someone to order it and they wait 10 minutes, you should make an exception to correct your own error. You still have venti cups, you still have ice and you still have water, it was not impossible to do. I would have ordered a coffee had I have known but didn’t want to get back in line and wait another 15 minutes there and another 15 on my drink. I respect the staffs efforts as they were busy, however when an error is made on the business side it should be corrected on the business side as well. Sincerely a pregnant and very thirsty woman.“

“This location is one of the best in the state. If you want consistency and quality - this is your location. However yesterday, around 7:00PM, whoever was working really exceeded expectations - leading to this review. I’m a graves employee and was bumming on my shift - so my husband went to get me Starbucks for my “breakfast”. Upon returning home with the goods I noticed an absolutely adorable drawing on the bag. It’s little things like this that can really go a long way. It brightened my day significantly. I hope the employee who did this sees this and gets some praise! 🥰 (I love it so much we are keeping the bag lol)“
