“This is the spot for Korean BBQ. Since my go-to KBBQ place on 90th and State closed down, I’m really glad we found this one.

There’s plenty of parking, and it's easy to find—right next to Chinatown. When you walk in, there’s a flight of stairs to go up, but they also have an elevator for anyone who needs it. The decor is a bit off—it looks like the place was converted from a nautical or sailor-themed restaurant, which doesn’t quite match the Korean BBQ vibe. But hey, we weren’t there for the ambiance—we came to eat.

We were greeted right away and seated quickly. They offer three different all-you-can-eat menus: Korean BBQ, sushi, and hotpot. You can choose one for $29.99, or any two for $35.

The first time we visited, we went with the sushi and Korean BBQ combo. Honestly, the sushi wasn’t worth it—but the Korean BBQ was spot on. The short ribs and bulgogi beef were well-marinated, flavorful, and served in generous portions. They even offer Angus steak. There’s also a bar with all the sauces and sides you’ll need for both BBQ and hotpot.

The drink selection is small—just Pepsi and Coke products, one boba tea option, and some sweet tea.

Service was great. The staff checked on us frequently and changed out the grill often so smoke didn’t build up. One unique thing we noticed: while we were at the bar grabbing lettuce and sauces, they actually started grilling our meat for us. We've only seen that level of service in Korea—not at any other spot in Utah.

All in all, I’d definitely recommend this place for their Korean BBQ. Great food, solid service, and a good experience overall.”

“I had the jjangmyeon and regular tangsuyuk for myself. Overall, the hospitality was great, and one unique aspect of this restaurant is that they provide many side dishes with free refills. However, the price was quite high — I paid around $40 plus tip. For that cost, the jjangmyeon and tangsuyuk barely met my expectations. The jjangmyeon portion felt small despite the large bowl, though the tangsuyuk portion was generous. The food was okay, but it could definitely taste better. I also noticed that many of the staff, including the chef, are Spanish. Considering the price, I probably won’t be returning.”

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming—when they found out it was my first time, they even gave me a free yogurt drink! “This is by far my favorite boba tea place in Utah. All others can’t compare to their execution and consistency. Every time I go here I know my drink is going to taste great and the boba is going to be cooked perfectly. The boba here is bouncy but delicate and full of flavor. I typically go for the 38 milk king with 50% sugar and no ice, but a close second for me is their tieguanyin pearl milk tea. The owner is also extremely nice and they have some board games you can play while enjoying your tea. All in all a perfect boba tea experience.”

“My husband likes boneless wings so we tried the secret sauce , the honey garlic, and the galbi. I had a high expectation of the place based on the pictures I'd seen and oh boy did they deliver. Each flavor was better than the other, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy and crispy; every second of waiting bc it's made to order is worth it. All the servers were extremely kind and the restaurant was clean. The portions are generous, so if you are not a big eater you may share an 8 wings or half chicken and then take the opportunity to try some of their other dishes. I definitely want to go back to try more flavors and their fried rice. Top of the list for places to have fried chicken.”

“We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. While the sweet items looked amazing, we were looking for something a little more savory and picked the spinach and cheese, chicken schwarma, and beef pie. All 3 were delicious with the spinach one being my GF's favorite and the beef one with tomato sauce being mine. I really liked all the flavors and enjoyed how soft and flaky the pasta was. Oh the staff was great too as she was able to heat it up right there for us to enjoy!

Don’t skip on: The SKS (Soup Kitchen Special)

I will admit that my review is a bit biased purely for the fact that I’ve been coming here since I was a child. This place always brings floods of memories and it’s always exactly as I remember it. Yeah, it’s no Michelin restaurant, but all the food is made with love.

Th menu has a good variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. Everything is made to order and fresh!

The staff is welcoming and friendly and always a consistently wonderful experience.

Found the tahini and then Walked around the store for a sec and a gentleman asked what I needed. I told him pita and he went in the back and brought out fresh warm fluffy pita! Delicious!
