“This place is called Mr. Rice, but honestly, it should be called Mr. Big—the portions are absolutely massive! The katsu was longer than my chopsticks. 😂

“Employees were very friendly and efficient. Food tasted great, next time I'll ask for extra sauce because I didn't feel like they put enough but I'm sure it's just their standard measurement. I was disappointed they don't have the meatballs anymore. Those were my favorite. The chicken was really good though. Parking is a little tough at this location.“

“Service was fantastic. The food was beautifuly presented. The selection of rolls is great. The flavor of the rolls I ordered; I can only describe as a beautiful sensation of flavors and textures. “Today me and the fiance ate here for the first time. I can honestly say I'll never go back to chipotle again!!! The food here is absolutely amazing. Yummy, healthy, perfect portions and customization options. We got two citrus chicken bowls one with brown rice and terriyaki the other with rice noodles and chili lemongrass and it instantly became one of our favorites.
Absolutely going to be one of our regular spots. Super friendly staff who talked with us about good sauce combos. Make sure you give it a try if you haven't before. A+ perfect for workout days.“

“Greeted with a smile, ordered the tiff bow with extra Edamame, chicken teriyaki bowl, the kids chicken bowl, and one medium drink spent about $43. All of it was cooked and prepared to perfection in less than 10 minutes. It was a big portion of food, was able to take home leftovers. Bathrooms available for men and women in the back. Will definitely be returning.

My friend recommended this place to me and it didn’t disappoint. Not only were they able to accommodate me right before their closing time, the owner was super friendly and nice to give me extra water for free. They even carefully wrap the food since I was in a rush to go, The food is delicious and warm after 20 mins drive.

“We absolutely loved the food here! Just the right amount of spicy and plenty of sauce. Condiments are clean and sorted on the front counter and are separated in their own closed cups to easily take with you. The whole place was very clean and the server was very kind and quick too. He is new but made us feel like friends, explained everything in the menu in a fun and engaging way, along with some facts about the restaurant. He made our night. The food was incredible. “We stopped by the Soy Sushi Bar and Grill for dinner, 4927 S State St, Murray, UT 84107 on the trip to visit my friend in Salt Lake City from my home town, Irvine, California . We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“Have an open mind, know that it is more like a Bistro Restaurant with proteins, sides and salads. My wife I were up in Salt Lake from Ca, for General Conference and decided to stop in. We came at a slow time and Hy was prepping the prime rib for the evening. We asked a few questions before we were seated and he offered us a taste the prime rib with the horseradish, Note: I can’t stand Horseradish, but I was blown away by his. We asked for recommendations and listen as he described the different mains and the sides and we made a choice. I had the prime rib (w/a side of Horseradish) and my wife had the fish. As we waited for our food to be prepared, we walked around the inside of the restaurant and were taken back by the decor, it match the out side, quit interesting. Our food arrived and it was beyond what we have had in any restaurant back in Oceanside or Carlsbad Ca. We finished the meal and we were able to continue to talk with Hy about the location, the vibe, finding out he grows majority of his vegetables that he uses, in the back lot of the property. He then gave us an impromptu cooking class using his special blend of spices and seasonings, that he has for sale in the restaurant and on Amazon too as it turns out! We tasted some of the best roasted chicken in cream sauce, prime rib with his southwestern spice mix! All and all our experience was beyond a doubt, very enjoyable. Granted not everyone will have the experience my wife and I had, but Hy was very pleasant and yes, very focused on his work of prepping, cooking, over seeing the students that worked in his restaurant.“

“Everything I've tried here has been so good, with really fresh ingredients-- fresh vegetables, fresh basil, etc. My favorite so far is the panang curry, however I also have a weakness for the sticky rice with mango (I don't know where they find their mangoes but theirs are way better than any that I can find!) The service has always been fantastic as well. I come here when I've had a hard week and I need some good food and a friendly vibe to keep me going:)“

“We love this spot for lunch! Their kimchi fried rice is seriously one of my favorites, and my husband always gets the Korean fried chicken. Everything is delicious, the service is always great, and the staff is so friendly. Definitely one of our favorite Korean spots. We always leave happy and full! ❤“
