“After a long morning of travel, my gf and I decided to hit up Panda Express. The place was right next to Top Golf and a bunch of other fast food joints and restaurants. We were greated kindly when entering. We both got plates - 1 with Honey Walnut shrimp, 1 with Kung Pao Chicken, both with Orange Chicken (classic ?) and both with half/half chowmein and fried rice. The food was delicious as always! The orange chicken was juicy, the Kung Pao chicken a great texture, the chowmein noodley. The first few bites of my rice were a bit crunchy, but it got better after that. The apple pie roll stole the show. Those things are delicious! I tried them once before at another location and knew when I saw them here I just had to get them. Highly recommend those. My only disappointment is that there was a hair in my Kung Pao when I started eating, but I just took it off. I didn't see any other issues after that. Otherwise great service and clean joint.“
“Gabriel was amazing!! He was really kind and patient. He kept the drinks filled, took away the trash from my kids, made me feel okay about one of them spilling his drink. He made going out with my kids super easy instead of a stressful experience.“
“Great hole-in-the-wall hotpot restaurant. Of the 3 Hotpot places in Utah Valley, In my opinion the best. The staff are great, and personable. The ordering system is nice, where you get an tablet to order from. Fix-ins are brought to your table. The menu tells you up front what to expect. cannot wait to go again!Vegetarian options: we got a mushroom broth that could be vegetarian. the vegetable selection for ingredients is sizable and high quality.Parking: tight parking unless willing to walk up to 500 ft from a larger parking lot. Lot is shared between multiple restaurants“
“This is our favorite place to come eat!We love love their food. I also appreciate their portion sizes and prices. (My husband can eat a good bit) and he is able to feel full after eating his meal, so that’s another plus if you can put food away.I will always come eat here. We would call and order food for pick up or dinning in. Always fresh and delicious.“
“This place is a once or twice a week spot. The staff is amazingly friendly especially if you speak Spanish. The food is top notch. Much fresher and well seasoned compared to a Panda Express. If they don’t have the selection you want just ask for it anyway and when the fresh batch comes out they will bring your food to your table. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Now that is service! I get the 2 entree meal which includes a side of rice, noodles, or both if you’re feeling conflicted and your choice of egg roll or wonton. Priced at $8.49 plus add on a $2 soda and you have one of the best priced and filling meals out there. Do not miss out on this place!“
“My husband and I were feeling like trying something new and we came across this place. Different than what we expected. However, it was amazing. Had great flavor which is not common here in Utah. We got to meet the owner and he even gave my big husband, a side of extra protein on the house. Great guy great customer service, location it’s good and parking is easy. Definitely a do over.“
“Amazing food and especially impressive service. We came in and one of the workers was eating his lunch. He immediately put away his lunch to help us with our food order. The other worker constantly checked on us to refill our drinks and make sure the food was good. We felt like we were their focus and they served with excellence. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming again.“
“This was a great first hot pot experience. The selection was fantastic. We were a little weary about the meatballs (prawn, etc.), but they ended up being my favorite part. The ice cream was a welcome treat between spicy broth batches. My only regret was that in doing the hot pot, I didn't get to try the sushi burritos or the curry entree. Guess we'll have to go back and try them! Jayden was also very kind and we felt like he was excited/ enjoyed interacting with us. We loved feeling valued like regulars on our first visit.“
“First time eating here. Got our order to go. We tried pork lo mein, chicken chow mein, sweet & sour chicken, and shrimp fried rice. Order was ready at the time given and the staff that greeted us was very friendly. Food was the best Chinese we’ve had in the area. Very pleased and will be going back. Out of the 4 dishes the chicken chow mein was our favorite. Least favorite was the sweet & sour chicken, but that was just because the sweet & sour sauce wasn’t quite to our liking. Not bad at all, just not our favorite. The chicken part was very good though.“
“Excellent service, atmosphere and good food. We were first impressed with the free wonton chips and sweet and sour dipping sauce. Staff were very friendly and professional.I enjoyed my veggie moo shu. Others liked their food too. The chocolate-dipped fortune cookies were a great finish to the meal.Only 1/3 children liked their kids meal. I’m not taking points off for picky kids though.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options. Veggie moo shu was surprisingly tasty.“
“I thought the food was great and well priced. My friend enjoyed their vegan options - I tried them and was blown away. Definitely one of my favorite local Chinese restaurants.Vegetarian options: Awesome vegetarian and vegan optionsDietary restrictions: Awesome vegetarian and vegan options“
“Food was great except for the wings that were very salty. We told our server and she took it back and didnt charge us for them. We ordered teriyaki chicken sticks, combination fried rice , sweet n sour chicken, combination chowmein. Everything was delicious, but our favorite was the teriyaki chicken sticks. We were 10 people and our server was exceptional, fast and very patient taking our order and serving us. I wish I remember her name. We decided to eat outside and it was perfect. We were eating with the view of the riverKid-friendliness: Outside was great for kids. Plenty of room.Parking: Great location. We would eat here again.“
“14 July 2023 - 4 StarsFirst time here. The taste of the food, both the menu items and the all you can eat buffet items, is your typical American version on Chinese food.Nothing bad but nothing to get excited about. The service was wonderful. We had 4 VERY YOUNG children and an 87 yearold (with an oxygen tank & walker) great-grandfather with us today. The staff was extremely helpful as we managed the various needs and abilities of all 10 people in our group.Would return if in the area.“
“Great fried rice and egg drop soup. Also excellent chicken cashew and Chicken lo mein. Lemon chicken left something to be desired, it was very blah. I will go back and try some other dishes at another time. They offer great combo dinners, but won't make any substitutes or upgrades. This dissappointed me. I wanted sizzling rice soup but they only offered egg drop soup or hot and sour soup with the combos.“
“It is really affordable here for how tasty it is!! I reccomend the lunch special. Everything I tasted was good, the egg drop soup, the egg roll, the sesame chicken, generat tsaos, and the cream cheese wonton. I definitely want to come back!“
“I have gone to China Isle with my family for years, and we have always enjoyed eating here. My dad isn't a huge fan of Chinese food in general, but he likes China Isle! With the recent change in ownership, the food quality has stayed consistent and possibly even improved. If you are in the area, this is definitely the place to go for Chinese food!“
“The staff is super friendly and nice. They serve the food quick and it’s a good option. I feel like this location doesn’t get that busy all the time. Totally recommend coming here rather that eating the other fast food at university place.Tip: use the reward app, if you don’t have one, open it cause you’ll be able to save money by doing so“
“Pretty yummy Chinese takeout for very good prices compared to other similar places. The egg rolls are actually the best I've had in a few years. You can pick small, medium or large for the separate dishes to customize your order pretty specifically. It also helps keep the total down if you just want to try a bit of everything like I did.“
