“I wish I could score higher than a 5/5. This place is perfection. The vibes are immaculate. We went on a Saturday morning, and there was a live band playing light cafe music. They have outdoor and indoor seating which gives it almost a European cafe vibe.

The service was great as well, but the food and atmosphere stole the show. We got the toffee nut latte, a cappuccino, the avocado toast with bacon and the cottage cakes. Every single thing we got was spectacular and we scraped our plates cleans.“

It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

“I recently discovered Picnic Cafe and have visited 3 times since discovery. They may not be known for their everything bagels but they are very good for SLC. Each time, I have ordered an iced strawberry matcha and my partner usually drinks an iced latte. The iced latte's are good and reliable. The iced raspberry matcha is on the sweeter side, in my opinion. The sweetness is not overwhelming but is notable compared to my other go-to matcha spot.

They have a quaint inside seating area with spots to get work done. If you're there to chat, their outdoor patio is where I'd choose to sit. Parking throughout the neighborhood around, there are not assigned spots available.

My one complaint is that they open at 8 am. I would love to occasionally stop by on my way to work but that is far to late. I haven't been to any other coffee shops in SLC that aren't open until 8.“

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. “I absolutely love Cafe Shambala and highly recommend stopping by! Every time we host family or guests visiting, we bring them to eat here. Both the lunch buffet and the dinner menu are delicious. Our favorites are the spiced potatoes, the marinated chicken, the momos, and the traditional rice pudding dessert. My husband and I have never had less than a 5-star experience, especially with the excellent service. My only suggestion for improvement would be to more clearly post a drink menu during lunch, specifically for the refreshing mango lassi and other tasty drinks available. Last time I was there, the only posting of this information was a faded printer paper taped on the outside windows.“

He was very quick and accommodating. We need workers like him in the airport! I travel almost every other day for work! “10/10 experience. Very inviting and cozy atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Clean as a whistle too! Aside from the cat decorations in the cafe area you’d never guess they have animals in the building from the smell or the hair level. Lightning fast service and very yummy consumables if you’re just there for a drink and a snack. The staff I met were very patient and helpful. The cats are very well cared for and it shows in their friendliness and grooming. I adopted a Maine Coon with my husband this weekend and not only was the process smooth, but the cat himself was very healthy and had a well maintained coat(for the uninitiated Maine Coons are very susceptible to matting of the fur around their butt and tummy). Overall incredible experience and so so well run especially for a small business. I will be stopping by to pet the cats and get a latte every time i’m in Salt Lake. -Joel :]“
