There are not a lot of gluten free options when dining out, and definitely less when considering fast food. I appreciate the staff here so very much! “Salt Egg City is located inside a highly curated food hall. When you walk in you will be welcomed by a beautiful mural and delicious smells. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I took a bite into the brioche, sighed, and thought wow. It was so good and comforting. Highly recommend coming here.“

Everything was cooked to absolute perfection and our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. “I’ve been a fan of Jersey Mikes for a long time occasionally getting the sandwiches when going on a hike or for a picnic with my family. Today I came in with my son purely by craving and was helped generously by the staff. The manager Liz recommended I try the number 13 which was a fantastic choice as well as some delicious jalapeño flavored chips. I highly recommend this location and recommend you try an Italian sub!“

“I often forget how much a simple, well-made chicken carbonara sandwich can hit the spot. The combination of the complex, melt-in-your-mouth flavor of the chicken, combined with the crispiness of the rosemary bread, is so satisfying that it leaves me confused why this is the only Quiznos left in the entire Salt Lakes Valley. I was so excited to find it right here in a business district and I am delighted to report it's just as good as always.

Maybe if I deviated more I'd learn why Subway, the most boring sub shop, beat out Quiznos for Utah's affection, but for now I'm content with wondering while I enjoy my comfort sub.

“Ok this only goes out to who ever was building the sandwiches last night at 5:30pm and owner you need to give them a raise. For the first time in the 3 years I have went to this place I finally got a good sandwich. All the rest of the times it’s like a hotdog bun with 1 slice of meat 1 slice of cheese and then very little veggies. Really sucked. But THIS TIME! It was great. At least 2 slices of each of the 3 meats on my sandwich all the right veggies and fresh. To who ever made the order Great Job.“

Upon walking in there was no line in subway clerk.Ready to take my order.
The clerk gave me plenty of time to look over the menu to make a choice of what to eat.
Drink station is in clean and working order.
Dining room could use a little tidying up.But overall, i'm pretty clean.Dining area.
The thing that impressed me the most is while I sat in there and ate my food. We'll be employees stayed working the entire time. By stocking chips, straightening chairs in the dining room in rotating food on the line.

“I like this location since it's conveniently located next to campus and offers reasonably priced food. I feel like campus is a food desert unless you want to pay inflated prices. So Subway being a block off campus is a nice alternative.

However, mobile orders are so inconsistent. I usually want the same thing every time, and have it saved, so I figured it would be easier for both the employees and me. Today, everything was right, except for having unwanted lettuce. However, to the worker's credit, it seemed like her co-workers abandoned her, and she was running everything alone. Back in 2024, I ordered and then stopped after a while because one day they gave me a tuna sub instead of a turkey sub, which I had to throw away. It also smelled bad once I opened it, almost like putting canned cat food on bread. Then, even with the Turkey subs, when I pay for the extra Turkey, I don't even notice getting anything more than with the regular option. Then, if you want extra mayo, sometimes barely any at all, less than what you'd even expect for the regular option.

A girl who worked there always got my order perfect, but I think she started working somewhere better. Another thing I've noticed over the years is that employees don't seem to stick around. During the few years of ordering, it sometimes seemed like you'd get new faces every week. From now on, it may be better to order in person, as we did in the past before the advent of phones, and then scan the QR code to redeem rewards.“
