“We recently vacationed in Abingdon. When we arrived we were starving as we'd been driving from Indiana since the morning. We ordered chicken and beef burritos and the best bowl of chicken soup I've ever eaten. Absolutely great food and service. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience. Everything we order was wonderful and the outdoor ambiance was picturesque. Service was slow but they were busy and understaffed.

The table bread was fresh but the butter had a weird flavor profile. Apparently the kitchen gets to experiment, which is neat, but they missed the mark with chocolate and something else.

It's recommended to make reservations if you'd like to sit inside or under the covered terrace. Otherwise, the back bar/patio area is nice for walk-ins.“

“I was with a tour group of 100+. Service was good, buffet line moved quickly and was refilled promptly. Hot food was hot, cold was cold. Servers replenished our drinks in a timely manner. Our lunch buffet had well prepared fried fish, fried chicken, pulled beef, and grilled pork chop as well as a huge selection at the salad bar and various sides“
