“Delicious spicy beef noodle soup“

“After a fantastic dinner at Barca, our group of five headed over to Casa Luna to wind down the evening — and it was the perfect choice. Although the bar was fairly busy when we arrived, Gloria made sure we were comfortable while waiting and kept us informed about the next available table. Her attentiveness set the tone for a great experience.

Once seated, Gloria quickly walked us through the menu and took our drink orders. We started with a round of espresso martinis, which were expertly crafted and a perfect way to kick off our Casa Luna visit. Our table was located near a projector showcasing scenic views from around the U.S., which added a calming, cozy vibe to the space.

Following the espresso martinis, the standout cocktail was the Lychee Martini — fresh, flavorful, and quickly a favorite among the group.

A big thank you to Gloria and the Casa Luna team for the delicious drinks and the warm, laid-back atmosphere. It was the ideal spot to end an already memorable night. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Love this place, sushi & ramen is consistently delicious. I also love the matcha latte, and mango mousse cake. Solid choice for dine in or takeout. The broth reminds me of home. And the prices are very reasonable. Street parking/ pickup available.“

“We visited this location in Alexandria on a Saturday afternoon in December 2025. It wasn’t busy. We might suggest you wave over a server when you’re ready to order as no one came back to us and we sat for a bit waiting thinking someone would just come back. It wasn’t a problem - just suggesting.

They prepare a lovely display of your order and portions are very generous. The Miso soup was very good & the squid salad which someone else ordered had tasty squid - they suggested they would have liked some dressing on the side though.

The Burning Love dish arrived on fire & was excellent. The Russian Roulette dish is unique as they hide a big wasabi in one piece and you can’t see it till you’ve eaten it and now your eyes are full of tears and your sinuses are on fire (kind of kidding - but do be aware!)

The restaurant has fun items on display. The restroom was clean, and parking was close in an underground garage which was free.

I highly recommend this sushi place.

“First of all - I absolutely love the sushi here. It’s one of the best spots in Old Town. Super fresh fish and creative rolls. The miso soup and salad are always great too. And don’t skip on the appetizers - gyoza, shumai and hamachi Kama are so so good. However, the service is always a little slow and the vibe/decor is just kinda eh and just a little…cold? Not very warm/welcoming. I stick to takeout usually and again, the sushi is top notch.“

“Stopped on a whim. I was walking by, hungry and reviews looked good. So glad I tried it. I ordered the miso ramen to-go. The broth was separate in the take away container which meant everything didn’t get soggy while I walked a mile back. Miso was really good. I wasn’t a fan of the noodles. I prefer them a little thinner. Despite that, the miso ramen was really good. The meat was cooked perfectly. Miso was tasty. I would definitely eat here again.“

“Been hooked to this resto since 2022. Been all over the US, from California, Texas, Colorado, Georgia etcc… and this is far the most fresh, and best tasting sushi we have ever gone. We always order the redbull roll and never gone wrong! We also order toro ( fatty tuna) sashimi because it just melt on the tongue like butter. It’s so fresh! The marbling on their Toro is majestic! I tried to look and eat for the same roll from other resto, and no one has beat kumo. The staff are always polite, kind, and energetic. If you’re ever in DMV, this is a must place to eat!“

“This was one of the greatest food experience on king street, from the moment we went through the door we were greeted by a very nice gentleman. This gentleman promptly provided us water and menus. He was very friendly and very kind as this was her first time visiting we ordered dumplings I forget which ones but they were very good and they had tofu in them, which is a very big shock factor to me nonetheless, it was delicious after that we ordered general tso chicken and general tso tofu, let me tell you that was some of the best food I have had. This is definitely the prime Asian restaurant on King Street. I will be sure to go back again. Lastly, the service was so good. I saw the server run a whole block to give a family the fried rice they left at the table. I have never seen that..“

“This is one of the best Japanese steakhouses I have ever been to. I have been to a handful but this place has always been my home. I have been coming to this place since I was a child and before the new owners. It has yet to disappoint me with anything. Atmosphere is always great and the food is even better. I miss Kawasaki because he would do the craziest things like throw an onion from across the room for a free meal (which I caught) some of the best memories of mine have come from here. I 100% suggest if you haven’t had hibachi before.
