“Forgive the half-eaten food in the picture; as always it's too good to wait to eat it. Sushi is always super fresh, well constructed, and at a great price. We've been multiple times and will continue to eat here every time we go grocery shopping at K Market.“

“I ordered Agu Jjim for the first time as a to-go option. When placing my order, I inquired about the possibility of adjusting the spice level, and the staff kindly confirmed they could accommodate that request. I asked for a medium spice level, and I was thrilled to open the dish upon receiving it, especially since the restaurant had recently opened.

Upon tasting it, I found it absolutely delightful—truly perfect. The seasoning was just right, and the spiciness suited my palate perfectly. While I know I cannot replicate such wonderful flavors, I genuinely appreciate the effort that goes into the dish, and I would like to share a couple of suggestions for improvement.

I noticed that the bean sprouts seemed quite shriveled, which might indicate they were added too early in the cooking process. If they could be boiled or steamed separately and then mixed with the Agu Jjim, it might enhance the texture. Additionally, I felt the quantity of bean sprouts was somewhat lacking. Given that bean sprouts are relatively inexpensive, increasing the amount could make the dish appear more abundant.

I share these thoughts with the hope that the restaurant continues to thrive. Overall, this Agu Jjim is the best I have enjoyed in Annandale, and it stands out among the Agu Jjim I've had in the U.S. The freshness of the fish was exceptional as well. I wish the restaurant great success!“

If I went again I would probably go a la carte just to try something different. Drinks were also really good! Quiet enough where you can have a great date night. Service was exceptional.“

“Went for dinner at opening time and there was no wait and restaurant was basically empty which I like. Immediately greeted and sat and provided menus. The service was outstanding, maybe due to how busy the establishment was at the time, but nonetheless outstanding!! Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and pleasant. The food was all soooooo good. Started with the soft shell crab which when delivered to the table had a small flame in the middle;great presentation!!! The fish was very fresh , and you could see the chefs making all the sushi to order which is great. Toll sizes were normal size about 8 pieces and all were delivered at once which I like. The restaurant is a little smaller with about 15 ish tables so I'm sure it can fill up quickly when busy. Desert was also great ❤️. Loved the presentation again as the flatware was very cute as you can see in the photos. Best sushi I have had in Virginia so far ❤️❤️❤️. Prices were reasonable for the amount of shushi and sake that we ordered and would def go back. Must try

“If you live in Rosslyn, or anywhere remotely close by, I cannot overstate how much you need to put in an order at Cafe Sushi Garden as soon as you can! Gigantic portions, fresh cuts of fish, beautiful craftsmanship in every roll, generous prices across the menu -- search no further, this place is what you've been looking for (you know it's good when I had my first bite and immediately set a reminder for myself to write a review).

The platter for two was perfect for a movie night in. Don't sleep on their huge hand rolls either! Plus, the staff are incredibly kind and thoughtful, and there's plenty of seating inside if you want to kick your feet up with a hot bowl of miso soup. “It was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to eat Omakase style , but they did not have that. But instead they had a 4 course meal plus deserts and I was super impressed with the food. The sushi was fresh and the chef did an outstanding job with the sushis. I love the flavors and the fact that this is truly a gourmet sushi experience. The sushis had the right amount of rice ( not too much) and the sushi rice was seasoned to perfection. I ordered the miso soup and although it was not the usual flavor for me , it was still delicious and not as heavy on the soybean paste. You should rally try it. By the way our waiter Franz did a fantastic job serving us.“

“The food was delicious, the owner and staff were very kind especially with our 13 month old who about 45 minutes in was getting very stubborn and wanted to walk around.

I would highly recommend the laksa, which was my favorite dish out of the 5 we ordered. The lamb satay came second. Ask for some extra sambal, it wasn’t too sweet but the perfect amount of spice!!“

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and super fun — perfect for both family gatherings and catching up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, walking us through the menu and making sure we had everything we needed.

The shabu shabu was top-notch — fresh ingredients, high-quality meats, and rich, flavorful broths. My 5 y/o loves the Wonton Soup and Fried Rice, and I love the Chef's Special Creamy Shrimp and Beef Sticks. I've never had anything bad here in the two year's we've been eating here or ordering delivery. The food is always hot and the delivery drivers are always very friendly.

Parking: It's in a shopping center, so there's plenty of free parking.

However, considering its price, I found the Sashimi Combo to be relatively small.
