“I have been here before and I absolutely love the food. The service in the past has been slow. I went for lunch yesterday and had an amazing experience. I was able to sit down, order, eat and chat with my mother within my hour lunch break. The new ordering system is amazing and efficient. We had our food and my mom had her drink in under 20 minutes. I don’t normally do reviews but I was very impressed by this experience.“

“I take my aunt here annually to pick up her thanksgiving catered order. Today we decided to have lunch as well.
This place has a warm feeling and the staff is stern but in a friendly organized way. The food is good and I am thankful for free street parking.

“Everything about this place is fantastic. The vibes are amazing the inside is beautiful and the staff is out standing very friendly. The food was out of this world. I got the ribs with sticky sauce wow. Ribs were cooked perfectly with some of the best collard greens I ever had. My boy got the stinky wings and they were by far the best wings I ever had. I live in Nj but will gladly drive down anytime to get a great soul food meal. Thank you guys for everything.“

“This place has flat out the best tasting fried chicken in town. The crispness of the breadding and the delicious Ethiopian butter with its spices, is a magnificent Ethiopian fusion combo. While I wish there would be one of these in Hollywood, California where I live, I'm always making it a point to come here while being in D.C.
I highly recommend this place. Do not miss out on this delicacy in town.“

“I visited Miss Toya"s Creole on Saturday September 30th. I took my oldest son for his birthday ?. My waitress Hope gave excellent customer service. The food was awesome as always. The manager Imai came to our table numerous times to make sure everything was good. Please go to Miss Toyas in Silver Springs Md the food and customer service will not disappoint you.“

“I have been to Della J's before- Brunch and a birthday celebration for one of our sons. I had a hamburger. Both were delicious!!! On Friday, July 19th, I visited the restaurant to purchase carryout dinners. I went to the bar for the carryout order. Here, I met Shanika, who was very helpful in assisting me with my order!!! To further assist me, she referred me to the front to Reedah, to give me a better breakdown of what I wanted to order. The order was completed in the timeframe given by Reedah, and it was accurate!!! Just to note, as I was waiting, two other associates asked me did I need any help. I gave them this look, and told them that I have been waiting for a while. They looked disappointed!!! I said, just joking!!! They laughed!!! I ordered (3) 4 Jumbo Chicken Wings, with sides, potato salad, collaed greens and french fries. Everything was delicious!!! Great employees!!!“

“The food was great. You receive a very good amount for the price. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and helped by recommending dishes to try. Even the locals that were in ordering told us their favorite items on the menu. For some, the location may not be the best, but when members of the police force are also there ordering food, you can't go wrong as far as safety is concerned. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Not to mention, my mother found this restaurant on Food TV and kept it in her cookbook as a place to try whenever we decided to visit DC. Great selection, Mom!!!“

I was in the city for the day and found this place on tiktok and they didn't disappoint. The food was fresh and seasoned well. The portion size is plenty, you do get your money's worth. The service was quick. I would highly recommend.
