“This property is a shared property between Dairy Queen and Bojangles. I was a patron at Dairy Queen. DQ is a summer stop for me for the obvious, but I also enjoy their Cheeseburger Deluxe and FF, which was the case with this visit. DQ does a great job IMHO. Bojangles does as well. This stop at the intersection of Rt.220 & Wirtz Rd. is convenient for a bite, treat, gas, and a quick shop for on the go beverages and snacks. There is a Tractor Supply store across the street as well. It is worth a stop if traveling between Roanoke and Rocky Mount Virginia.“

“I frequent here often, I love the atmosphere. I've ate about everything in there and very rarely have i had an issue with my food. French onion soup is my fav. Courtney and Destiny are both amazing bartenders/ servers, they are very attentive and friendly. If I make it there for lunch, Stephanie is awesome. She is also a great manager if you have any problems at all. KP and Mandy, also great servers, friendly and attentive. All in all, I would definitely recommend dining here.“

“Simple. No frills place. Accessible and comfortable. Not expensive. Nothing crazy here. Just a simple clean place. The venue has two sides. One completely closed off smoking side with bar. Tables and chairs. The same on the other side. Larger and more open non smoking. Servers were pretty cool and polite.“

“I ordered an Ann Oakley because it sounded pretty good, I wasn't expecting to taste THIS GOOD.
If it's breakfast time, and you're feeling lunch THIS is what you want to order. The taste of breakfast, with the atmosphere of lunch. It's filling enough to make me not scrounge for more food, but light enough to not put me immediately back to sleep. It's flavor is also amazing, paired very well with my chilled rootbeer. :)

“Today’s visit was NOT great, because of our waitress’ attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day, because I’m pretty sure we had her before. Today it seemed like a cold shoulder from the beginning when we just asked for water to drink. No friendliness. Brought our water and food with no concern about what we might need or want. The waffles did not look anything like the picture & had missing portions when formed in the waffle iron we guess, unripened strawberries and no ask or offer of additional flavored syrups. She brought the 2nd order of waffles out slid them on the table and turned right away to go. I then began looking around for any waitress of which I could catch the attention. No luck. Finally our waitress was coming out to get another family’s order and I caught her attention to ask about flavored syrup and she said okay she’d bring me some, but then went to get this family’s order first as my pancakes got colder. I got up and went to another waitress to see if she could just grab me a bottle of syrup and she said she would after putting an order in the computer. Then our waitress got upset because I didn’t wait on her and she brought my syrup after making some out loud remarks about me as a customer. The syrup she brought was like water which seemed to be watered down. My waffles were now cold & my wife and I were ready to leave. She brought us our bill and annoying asked if their was anything else she could do for us. I asked for a to-go box and then she proceeded to check us out at the register. I usually tip my waitress (who put forth a effort) very well, but NOT today. My wife was even more put out by her attitude and my wife worked in customer service at a restaurant for several years. She was shocked by this lady’s customer service attitude. My previous experience awhile back: “This is a pretty good IHOP. Good food and descent price. Pretty clean, not too busy, but not dead either.”

“The first time we visited this restaurant was shortly after they opened and while the food was subpar, the service was inadequate. However, we went back recently because we had gift cards and we were plesa try surprised... the food and service were both great. Our server was attentive but not annoying. The only downside side for us was that it is very loud. The acoustics are horrible and it was hard to have a conversation. But otherwise a nice meal.“
