Peruvian Restaurants near Burke, VA

“I love the empanadas with the sauce, and the chicken is so delicious has good flavor, the cookies are very good“

“Excellent food and great service!“

“I have been visiting this place, and I regret not discovering it sooner. The food is delicious, served in generous portions, and if you come in feeling tired after work, the staff will take care of you with genuine warmth. The restaurant is clean and has great music suitable for families, couples, and singles. I’ve dined at other restaurants, but I can confidently say that Wild Chicken offers exceptional customer service.“

“Very good food, I come here all the time with my partner and we love it. Many good options for sides like fried rice and plantains. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and knows us well. He sells halal Peruvian food, so everyone from everywhere can eat the food.“

“Good place to eat, carne asada is so delicious 😋“

“Amazing food and drinks… fun“

“I’ve ordered takeout from here many times and have tried most of their weekday menu. If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food close to home in the Woodbridge area, this is definitely a place to try.
They also offer delicious weekend specials. I recently had the cabrito, and the portion was so generous I couldn’t even finish the plate! The food is flavorful, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are excellent. Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Peruvian cuisine!“

“The food here is amazing. I had to check myself a few times because I was sitting there devouring my dinner like an animal, lol. The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The plantains and green beans stood out on their own even without rhe chicken. At any other restaurant, green beans are just a filler side item, but here they are standout delicious. Possibly the best I have ever eaten. They cleaned tables as soon as customers left. Service was great. We were totally impressed with this place. We looked at other places for dinner, and left here convinced that there is no other restaurant within nearby that would have been more satisfying.“

“Chicka Loca is a hidden gem, and the Bistec alo Pobre sealed the deal for me. This dish was everything, a well seasoned, tender steak cooked to perfection, topped with a fried egg, and loaded with crispy fries and sweet fried plantains. Every bite was rich, hearty, and packed with authentic Latin flavor.

The portion size was incredibly generous, easily worth every penny. The steak had a wonderful sear on the outside while staying juicy on the inside, and the way it all came together on the plate felt like true comfort food done right.

The vibe at Chicka Loca is warm and welcoming, the service was attentive, and the food came out in great time. If you're anywhere near Fairfax and you haven't tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and get in there. Start with the Bistec alo Pobre you won't regret it. I'll definitely be back!“

“The Peruvian chicken we had delivered for my company's meeting was an absolute home run. The chicken was incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor, but it was the legendary green and yellow sauces that completely stole the show. It was delivered exactly on time and was incredibly easy to set up, making it the perfect stress-free, crowd-pleasing upgrade from the usual boring corporate sandwich platters.“

“Amazing customer service delicious food and fast service please go check it out“

“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?“

“Food was delicious will be going back“

“Bonito lugar, la comida muy rica“

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.“

“Good food! Fast service, friendly and Courteous staff.“

“It is imperative to acknowledge that Mi Rico Peru restaurant stands as a culinary destination unlike any other, nestled along Franconia Rd. Their seafood offerings, along their other dishes, are nothing short of exceptional, complemented by impeccable service. My capricious and also discerning appetite keep bringing back, whenever I’m in the area. IM“

“The lomo is so good it made my day☺️“

“Excellent Peruvian food. You feel like at home. Friendly staff“

“Real peruvians doing real Peruvian things. We are the pollo a la brasa and it was delicious. I phoned it in and I got there the exact time the gentleman on the phone said it would be ready. It was ready, hot and fresh. After a journey back home. The freshness was still there.“

“Super Chicken FC is hands down, the best place we've been to. I've tried dozens if different places across NoVA and we always come back to this location. Consistent in quality, speedy, and incredibly friendly staff. The portions are generous and we have yet to find a place that tops this location. This place is incredible, and you should definitely swing by and check it out!“

“Delicious coffee & friendly staff! Just happened to pass this location on my way to the doctor’s office and HAD to stop by. So delicious!“

“El mejor ceviche del área de woodbridge, recomendado lugar tranquilo para pasarla en familia, muy buenas porciones de comida“

“excellent chicken sandwich and I love the aguadito de Pollo ( chicken soup)“

“Tienen gran variedad de platos y un excelente servicio.. Se los recomiendo!!“

“Great food and good environment!“

“I was in Stafford momentarily from out of town and just decided to try this place out because I was hungry. It's the best rotisserie chicken that I've had in QUITE sometime! It was so flavorful. And my order was ready in no time.“

“I’ve been coming to this location for many years, going all the way back to when this place was called El Rancho. Even back then, it was my go-to spot for Peruvian chicken. The skin was always perfectly cooked, the chicken was marinated to perfection, and the level of service was consistently excellent.

Over the years, the restaurant evolved into Hondu Pollo, introducing Honduran flavors alongside their classic Peruvian dishes. In my opinion, this change only made the place better. The menu now offers a great mix of Honduran and Peruvian options, and everything I’ve tried has been flavorful and satisfying.

One thing I truly appreciate is how welcoming the environment is. I don’t speak Spanish, and at times I feel like I might be the only non-Spanish speaker in the room lol but that has never been an issue. The staff has always been friendly, patient, and helpful, and I’ve consistently felt welcomed every time I visit.

They’ve also made some updates to the interior over the years. There’s now a small bar area where the coolers used to be, and interestingly enough, they even have slot machines. At first, you might think that would make the place less family-friendly, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I still see families with children there all the time, and the environment remains comfortable and community-oriented.

If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be menu pricing accuracy. On my most recent visit, I ordered the pollo saltado, which was listed on the screen as $14.99, but the receipt showed $16.99, bringing the total to just under $19 with tax. The price is still reasonable for the portion and quality, but updating the menu boards for accuracy would improve transparency and prevent confusion.

That said, this place absolutely earns five stars from me. I’ve had Peruvian chicken from many places over the years, and Hondu Pollo remains one of the best I’ve ever had. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, the service is reliable, and the welcoming atmosphere keeps me coming back year after year.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Peruvian and Honduran cuisine.“

“Fantastic chicken! You can't imagine how good until you eat some.“

“Totally amazing!!!! highly recommend!!!“

“Good food [Original] Good food“

“Came here on a quiet evening and ended up having one of those properly memorable meals you weren't expecting. The food was on top form — proper flavours, generous portions, the kind of cooking that makes you stop talking for a minute because you're concentrating on the next bite. Our server was lovely, took proper time with us, and made some great suggestions when we asked. The atmosphere was warm and unhurried, perfect for a proper long meal with good conversation. We worked through a couple of courses and a bottle of wine without watching the clock. The bill was very fair. Going back next week with friends“
