“It was my first time at this restaurant. I wanted to eat Omakase style , but they did not have that. But instead they had a 4 course meal plus deserts and I was super impressed with the food. The sushi was fresh and the chef did an outstanding job with the sushis. I love the flavors and the fact that this is truly a gourmet sushi experience. The sushis had the right amount of rice ( not too much) and the sushi rice was seasoned to perfection. I ordered the miso soup and although it was not the usual flavor for me , it was still delicious and not as heavy on the soybean paste. You should rally try it. By the way our waiter Franz did a fantastic job serving us.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

It helps to either have reservations or selecting a time that isn’t as busy because it’s so popular. My family and I have been eating there for over a year and been back many times. We love the bada bing shrimp for our appetizer. And my favorite personal entrée is the spicy seafood. Here’s a picture of it with a wide ribbon noodle maybeI weither tagliatelle or papardele. “I can’t say enough great things about this tiny family owned and run business, first we were greeted with a huge smile, seated immediately and watered within a min, this from our 60/70 year old server. He was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable meal. The food is amazing , really really amazing. Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and super fun — perfect for both family gatherings and catching up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, walking us through the menu and making sure we had everything we needed.

The shabu shabu was top-notch — fresh ingredients, high-quality meats, and rich, flavorful broths. They had a great selection of veggies, sauces, and dipping options that let everyone at the table customize their meal just the way they liked it. We especially loved the wagyu and the spicy miso broth — so good!

The restaurant was clean, well-lit, and had a great energy without being too loud. Plenty of space for groups, and the table setup made it really easy to enjoy the cooking experience together.

We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, interactive dining experience that brings people together!“

“Hey, you guys I went here for my first time. I’m from LA. I’m used to Mexican food and not many places are out here but this one wild taco place with Greek catch my eye seen the pictures online and they look freaking good so I decided to go in And buy my surprise. There was only three people it was empty and the people were white, so I’m asking myself OK I wonder how this is gonna taste but the service was magnificent. Very nice. The lady explained to me the menu which was extremely helpful and nice and when I got my food, it was to go. I couldn’t wait. I ordered a Greek taco. Holy moly. I am in love this Greek taco the beef all the vegetables. Everything was just outstanding beautifully marinated meat and then I had a quesadilla holy moly it was a giant and very, very good a little bit greasy But other than that, they put a good portion of meat cheese total experience with this place one out of 10 I give it a solid nine and I don’t do that for anybody. This just surprise me who was cooking the food which was a young teenager that look like but wowthe ingredients in the food were fresh outstanding beautiful combination and good. Definitely will go back and try their burritos and other sorts of tacos it’s worth trying to come here folks very very good food two thumbs up. Great job you guys.“

Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

“The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. “Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“
