“I got the chicken pesto sandwich and taro tea latte. Very delicious! I do think it’s a bit overpriced. It was $12.50 for the sandwich that comes with a single pickle slice and a package of utz potato chips. While good, I think it’s only worth ~$8, even for the area. Very cute location though and friendly staff/great customer service.“
“Who would have expected fine dining meals from a small open kitchen (think pizza or sandwich shop style restaurant) with a few tables in a small strip shopping center in Great Falls, Virginia, but Thelo Greek Kuzina’s food was stellar. I could not decide what to get to take home for our family, so got way too much food for four people. Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. Thank you Thelo Greek Kuzina for an unexpected true culinary experience.“
“We LOVE coming to Silver Diner and having Gledys ⭐️ as our waitress today made the visit even more special! She was so welcoming and had our entire table in a good mood and laughing. Her service was fast and friendly and the food was good as always. We will be asking for Gledys the next time we come!!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options! Including toast, and French toast!“
“Good customer service is hard to find this day and time. RAY went above and beyond to give us one of the best experiences that my family has ever had at a restaurant. So welcoming right out the gate and didn’t miss a beat the entire time he was interacting with us. It was a pleasure to have been waited on by RAY and we’ll definitely be returning soon bc of his outstanding customer service.Oh yeah… almost forgot… the food was great too!Don’t forget to ask for RAY!!“
“This is the best pizza and Italian place around with reasonable prices! I cannot believe how great a slice of plain cheese pizza is here. Only costs $3.50, is a huge slice....looks like a quarter of a large....and is simply the best. There are too many other great tasting options in slices to mention...also all the other great food they have will satisfy.....huge menu......real italian....never been disappointed here in taste or price!“
“A fine if small bakery tucked into the back of a strip mall, the Fairfax Bakery brings Turkish inspired foods and pastries to the area. Their pastries, of which we have sampled a number, are excellent as are their breakfast sandwiches. The Turkish breakfast platter is a Mediterranean adventure as is the baraq (sp?), something like a filled bagel. Their Turkish bagels are a real treat, and for those who like sweet coffee so is theTurkish coffee. Go early in the day for take out pastries as by lunchtime they are often sold out. Recommended for take out and for a quick breakfast in the small sitting area. Pleasant service.“
“Ever since moving to NOVA, I've been on the hunt for a great Italian bakery and am so happy to have found Bisnonna Bakeshop!! I ordered the "We're Butter Together Box" and had it delivered. It was super quick to ship. My favorites were the Italian Butter Cookies and Rainbow Cookies, and I've already ordered again to share with visitors. For sure the best Italian cookies I've found in the DC area!!!! I can't wait to try the cakes!!! Thank you, Nicole!!“
“Chirashi bowl here is my favorite. It's assembly is so pretty and it's very filling. The variety and quality of fish is really good! Service is fast and accommodating even when busy. My dad's allergic to egg, so they make sure to avoid adding imitation crab in his dish. Ambiance is casual and comfortable for any occasion dining. Seatings a bit cozy because it's a bit smaller size restaurant, but it doesn't feel too claustrophobic.“
“Our daughter has Celiac's and struggles heavily with cross contamination exposures so Honey and Ivy is a huge blessing. It's an even bigger blessing that they are literally the best gluten free bakery we have ever tasted. We haven't found something yet that was not delicious!“
“David is the reason I had a great meal and experience. When I saw that the menu had changed and asked about vegan options, I was disappointed. David went way out of his way to make sure I didn’t have a boring, steamed veggie meal. He double checked all ingredients with the chef and I had the stir fried Buddha’s Feast with tofu. Sooo good. The ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious but the most impressive part if this visit was David.Dietary restrictions: Ask for a vegan menu“
“I truly enjoyed my #CremeBruleeDonut ? and iced #ChaiStrawberry. OMG, AMAZINGGG ‼️Such a wide variety of baked/fried pastries and coffees/teas/ice cream ??All around Washington-Dulles Airport ✈️??????☕? ?. It's a lovely space with lots of seating indoor and outdoors. I will definitely visit again when in the area.“
“Great local bakery! We love their dulce de leche filled horns, alfajores! For Valentine’s Day I got these 3 desserts; they were yummy and reasonable priced (about $7 each). They were bursting with flavor and different texture; I just wish they could be bigger (pretty tiny) :)Heart shape - mousse with strawberry fillingChoco dome - coffee flavoredChoco heart - chocolate mouse with strawberry compote (my fav!)“
“ordered a cake for my best friend’s birthday and Simply Desserts did NOT disappoint- I had a picture of what I wanted and you would’ve thought they 3D printed a replica in that bakery, my word! Of course it also turned out delicious, could not recommend this place enough!“
“Random find after a work meeting, and am so thankful I came in. The food is out of this world. All three of us devoured our meals and couldn't stop raving and wishing Kabobi was down in CVille where we were visiting from. Seriously if you're in the area, this is where you need to be eating!“
“I stopped for office lunch with colleagues. Hands down the best Pizza place in the area. Food quality and taste top notch. One of the very few Pizza places with lot of dine in space and very good vibe. Service was pretty good and staff were pretty accommodative. I will definitely be back to try more pizza flavors.“
“The restaurant atmosphere is very charming. The food was very good and came out quickly. The service was very good as well, my only suggestion is that the servers who have long hair should tie their hair back. When the food and drinks were being served, the waitress leaned over the table and her hair brushed the table.“
“We recently dined at Burger Shack with a group of 20 folks and cannot say enough good things! The staff was exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. The food was delicious and the portions were so generous. It was the perfect way to end our all-day outing. 10/10 recommend stopping by if you're in the area!“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Burke Farmers Market, and I can wholeheartedly say that it's a hidden gem nestled within the heart of our community. This vibrant market offers a unique blend of fresh produce, artisanal goods, and a warm community atmosphere that is truly unparalleled. From the moment I stepped into the market, I was greeted by the lively buzz of local vendors and the aroma of freshly baked goods. The array of stalls showcased a diverse selection of farm-fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and meats, each sourced from nearby farms and delivered straight to the market. It's evident that the emphasis here is on quality and sustainability, and I was impressed by the vendors' dedication to providing the best products for their customers. What sets the Burke Farmers Market apart is the strong sense of community that radiates through every corner. Local artisans proudly display their handcrafted jewelry, pottery, and artwork, adding a unique touch to the market's ambiance. I had the pleasure of engaging in conversations with several vendors, who shared their stories, passion, and insights about their products. It's this personal connection that makes the market more than just a shopping experience; it's an opportunity to connect with the people who work hard to bring these goods to our tables. The market's commitment to sustainability is commendable. I noticed a strong emphasis on reducing plastic waste, with many vendors offering reusable bags and eco-friendly packaging options. Additionally, there were educational booths dedicated to sharing information about composting, recycling, and reducing our carbon footprint. It's evident that the Burke Farmers Market isn't just about commerce—it's about creating positive change and inspiring mindful consumption.Furthermore, the market provides a vibrant backdrop for community events and live performances. During my visit, there was live music that added a delightful soundtrack to my browsing experience. Families gathered around picnic tables, enjoying the day while kids delighted in face painting and other fun activities. It truly felt like a hub of local camaraderie, where everyone was welcome. In conclusion, the Burke Farmers Market is a treasure trove of fresh produce, artisanal creations, and heartfelt connections. With its commitment to quality, sustainability, and community, it offers a well-rounded experience that transcends a typical market visit. If you're seeking a place where you can support local businesses, nourish your body with the finest produce, and immerse yourself in the spirit of community, the Burke Farmers Market is an absolute must-visit.“
“Ms. Jacqueline is gifted and patient, and she possesses extraordinary culinary skills. She allowed me to explain to her what I was looking for, and then she created it. Then, she allowed us to have it for free and to taste test it and asked us to share with her our experience. The cake was absolutely incredible! The taste was supreme; and Ms. Jacqueline's presentation -- with all the blueberries encircling the top of the cake and the very nice see-through box -- was topnotch. We will continue buying vegan cheesecakes from Sweet Pearlz Cheesecakes for years to come!!“
“I never thought I'd be leaving a rave review for granola but here goes: this stuff is insanely good. For Christmas, we received a bag of the original granola, and some granola butter and tbh I forgot all about it because, well, it's granola. But I rediscovered it while cleaning up from Christmas like a week later, and thought I'd give it a try. I will ABSOLUTELY be ordering more of this when it is gone, which will be very very soon. I'm just eating it right out of the bag. Can't stop. It's my new favorite snack.“
“Every time I think about the gym and my need to lose weight, someone brings me a delicious treat to twart my progress. Today, my colleague brought us a vanilla pound cake with a heavenly icing that made me smack myself after I ate my third slice! I've had the lemon cake and the birthday confetti one (I screwed that up) and dear lord, they too were amazing! The staff are super friendly, there is always parking, and you will not be disappointed. Thanks for being AMAZING!“
“Oh man, what an awesome place in Chantilly. This pizza is really unique and the taste is amazing. Fresh ingredients and toppings on a cauliflower crust. Great concept. This place has become my favorite pizza place to go. Good for the whole family. I strongly recommend. ??“
“100 Bowls of Soup has amazing soups. Sign up via email and get their weekly newsletter to find the new offerings and what is in stock. Made with the very best ingredients. Located in Herndon. Highly recommend a visit. Once you do, you will be a regular like me. Love it!“
“OMG!! This place was amazing! We did the restaurant week & I got eggplant Bechemel, the Spicy Scallops & shrimp over Linguine pasta was amazing!! Best scallops I have eaten in a long time.. Dessert was supurb too! We each got a chocolate mousse, tiramisu & cheescake. All was amazing! Staff was supurb! Will be back soon!?“
“Great value, delicious food, friendly staff. Ordered at the restaurant; we had the steak and cheese, fries and garden salads. Everything was DELICIOUS! This is one of our favorite spots to have lunch. Will Recommend to anyone in the area looking for fresh food and a quick service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“I've been a fan of this establishment since day one! I remember the first day I got to meet the owners. I was wiring at Okra’s Cajun Creole back them when it existed. To speed up to date I've seen this neighborhood coffee shop grow! My sister's love going there for desets and study! We all adore the almond cake! Stop in! You won't be disappointed.“
“We needed a coconut cream pie at the last minute for a party. They were out, but Debbie called us back and said she could take a pie from an order for the next day and make the replacement pie that night. The pie was delicious and the customer service added to the sweetness of the experience!“
“Love this store. The selection is amazing and especially if you are in a hurry and need something pre-prepped like a charcuterie board, or pre seasoned beef, or unique wine or beer for a party or for a Thursday night. I always shop here. It's a little expensive but I can find Everything here vs going to a couple or three other stores.“
“First time dining in rather than getting delivery; the noodles were even better fresh from the kitchen! Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon, and service was quick. The cashier was polite and repeated our order back to confirm. This location has two single-occupancy bathrooms, both gender neutral, which my companions reported to be clean.“
“Placed a last minute same day dairy free custom cake order and they did not disappoint! They were very helpful and customer service couldn’t have been better. They even meet the birthday boy and made him smile. Definitely recommended for anyone in the area especially if you have someone with dietary restrictions. ? ❤️❤️❤️Dietary restrictions: They create dairy free cakes for those who need it ❤️❤️❤️“
“The staff are very friendly and nice. If you are ever looking for smoothies, I definitely recommend their mango smoothies, which are very comforting, have a good amount of sweetness, and a Greek yogurt taste. The egg sandwich is freshly made, and also delicious. Prices are quite reasonable, especially considering how much the smoothies at Tropical Smoothie costs. Bagels are reasonably priced at $4.Overall, I highly recommend.“
“Recently remodeled dining room is just an added bonus. Excellent pizza pie, Greek salad and calzones. Love it! We hit here regularly. Chain pizzas can't compete with Tony's! AND BY THE WAY - one of the few restaurants that did not shut down during the Pandemic! They pivoted and made it work.“
“The crepes are delicious. We love that they offer gluten free so it’s worth the 25 minute drive. We make sure to eat lunch beforehand, otherwise you can spend $100 on food there and still be hungry when you leave. We noticed that they are not filled nearly as much if you order ahead vs if you order there. Our favorites are the French toast and the apple with cinnamon. We have always had no issues with finding a place to sit, but there isn’t many tables.Overall, our family loves this little place. Definitely a nice treat. We want to go back and try the gluten free waffles next time!“
