“Amazing!! Not only was the service impecable, but the food was absolutely delicious! This will be our next go-to spot! You have to try the spicy fried potstickers 🥟 , don katsu, and Jjajangmyeon, with a cold Hite beer. 🍺 Hands down one of the friendliest restaurant owners I’ve ever met. I can’t wait to go back!!!“

“This cozy, no-frills Korean restaurant offers a variety of decent dishes. The Dolsot Bibimbap was served with a small soup, while the Galbitang was warm and savory. The ambiance is clean and straightforward, with food posters adorning the walls. The service was good, contributing to a satisfying dining experience.“

“My family and I stopped by while traveling thru town. We ordered Bulgogi and Dak Kalgooksoo. Their Banchan were flavorful with the right balance of spice and heat. Entrée portions are generous. Our server was helpful and very nice. We were pretty happy to find this restaurant.“

“This place is a fun Korean restaurant, featuring meats (seasoned as you like, spicy or not) and seafood cooked at your table on a gas BBQ. Sides come with it and other dishes like japchae and soups are also available. Feed a group very well and be out in an hour! Only complaint is that it's very noisy, not the best for conversations. We had to wait for them to assemble a table for 7 people (no reservation), otherwise there would have been no wait.“

“Today I place an order around noon for delivery at 9:00pm. I order the dish Soondae+Bossam, the order came right at 9:00pm on the dot. This little girl came out the car name Jenny with mask and gloves(due to all the virus going around)... very professional and clean. Food was great 10 out of 10. Would strongly recommend eatting here!“

“This place is the best for soft tofu soup but I was craving some cold noodles, which were not in season yet. But they made a custom cold noodle dish for me with buckwheat noodles (bibim guksu)
and it was AMAZING. Unfortunately I was too excited to take a photo before eating it but if you love cold spicy noodles, please ask for this as it’s not on menu. It even had frozen watermelon balls in it, which was such a nice subtle sweet surprise. With fresh lettuce, cucumbers and boiled egg, it was like a home cooked Korean dish my mom would make.“

“**Evergreen Korean Cuisine**
On a chilly, rain-soaked evening, I sought the comforting warmth of Evergreen Korean Cuisine—a place I’ve visited several times for its authentic offerings. This visit proved no exception, delivering satisfying flavors that truly hit the spot.
The seafood pancake, while not the absolute best I’ve encountered, held its own with a generous scattering of green onions and a crisp texture. A respectable choice, though not necessarily a standout.
What took me by surprise were the soups, which far exceeded expectations. The short rib beef soup arrived with an understated appearance but revealed layers of rich, savory depth. The beef was impeccably tender, practically melting with each bite—a dish worthy of two enthusiastic thumbs up.
The cod stew followed a similar trajectory, its humble presentation belying a broth brimming with flavor and perfectly cooked fish.
Every dish ordered tonight brought genuine comfort and satisfaction. I’m eager to return and explore more of Evergreen’s menu—it’s a spot that consistently delivers warmth and authenticity.“

“Had the brisket seolleongtang and it really hit the spot. The broth was rich, milky, and comforting, exactly what you want from a long-simmered soup. The beef sundubu wasn’t as strong on the beef flavor as I hoped, but still cozy and satisfying. The kimchi was perfect, crisp, tangy, and balanced, probably my favorite part. They sell A little on the pricey side but not unreasonable for the quality. Great spot if you’re craving hearty, homey Korean soups.“

“This place was a pride of Koreans in the DMV area, a place that’s comparable to NJ or LA where all the good Korean restaurants are located; however, can’t say that anymore. Every menu here became ordinary. They are not bad but it doesn’t give me goosebumps like it used to. Especially Soondaetang became so average that I can’t even call this place Soondae specialty place. Again, still pretty good compared to other restaurants selling soondaetang, but would not give more than 4 stars here.“

“Ordered online for pickup. Food was not ready as stated. Had to wait 15 additional minutes before food was ready. Staff member was nice but a young guy. Staff member checked the bag before giving me my food to go. Took the food to the office and realized that Bonchon forgot to include my kimchi that I ordered. I called back up to the restaurant to make it known and the young staff member answered. He didn't seem to care too much about forgetting to put my kimchi in the bag and he gave a half hearted "I'm sorry".“

“Wanted to try something different than the usual Honey Pig or Iron Age. Dropped in and was welcomed by a friendly staff. Ordered the seafood pancakes, fried rice and bulgogi! Food arrived quick along with the usual sides. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge! Definitely coming back here!“

“One of the most efficient and quick restaurants I have ever seen with an almost overwhelmingly large menu. It’s also cheap to boot. I really like their jjajangmyeon which is always a good choice. Today I got their pork fried rice with jjajang sauce for the first time to vary it up. It was definitely good but I think the noodles are better. My SO got the Szechuan Seafood Jjangmyeon which tasted pretty good. It’s got a bit of a kick but not that spicy. I also really like their choice of banchan because they’re some of my favorite ones.“

“I ordered bibimbap and was surprised when I opened the lid. I have never seen a restaurant put so many different kinds of vegetables in bibimbap. And it was so tasty. Previously, I ordered sundubu and it was really delicious too. I highly recommend this place.“

“This one of my go-to places in Centerville. Today, Kimbop has changed a bit. Carrots were uncooked, normally they were stir-fried. Hope it's fixed next time.
It tastes better to make kimbap with stir-fried carrots, but I don't know if it was a mistake, but I was a little disappointed that the carrots in today's kimbap were not cooked at all. Still, I gave it 5 stars because it's a place I go to often.“

“I had the pleasure of experiencing a taste that brought me back to Korea in the 1990s. The flavor of the chicken here perfectly captured the nostalgic essence of my youth, reminding me of the simpler and happier times of my younger days. The seasoning and texture were exactly how I remembered it—deliciously comforting and full of rich, authentic flavors. It’s not just food; it’s a trip down memory lane. I’m so grateful to have found a place that can recreate such cherished memories through their amazing dishes. Highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a taste of nostalgia or simply great food!“
