Or at least that’s what my Chinese Buddy tells me! But since it is Asian American owned now we are forced to eat with chopsticks.“

“I'm from NYC, grew up on Chinese food, and very critical of restaurants in general. The Asian Cafe Chantilly is an outstandingly excellent restaurant. The quality of the food is uniformly the very best I've had, and the service is highly responsive, flexible, and professional. I very strongly recommend the Asian Cafe Chantilly. It's actually worth a long drive if you live far away, that's how great this place is.“

“Great place to get together with family or friends, food variety is good and the service is great.
All the meats we tried were really good.
The steak, the beef bogoly, the thin sliced pork and the thin sliced brisket, all good.
The shrimp ... Not so much..we ordered it twice, the 2nd time it was not good, I Mean it was going bad, we didn't eat it.
The waiter was very apologetic.
Will decently go back , no shrimp though...“

“On the surface this is a throwback old school American Chinese takeout complete with Moo Goo Gai Pan which btw is an underrated classic. I mean it just tastes very simple but also has flavor. But ever notice those wood tile tags in Chinese on the wall posing as decor to the unbeknownst. That’s the “secret” “hidden” menu. Asking about it unlocks a photo book of what “they” would eat. More greens and veggie choices, fried fish. One of the workers is also the stereotype service giver meaning they are not “friendly”, not helpful or generous. They are all business and give you what you ask for and add the up charges versus the comps. The other worker sees off menu interest, presents the book AND circles a menu of favorites typically ordered by [your people] after confirming your people. lol. So go there and unlock that menu if you want to venture beyond General Tsos or mix and match.“

“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

Mediocre food. bad service, scant offerings, and screaming, greedy wait staff. Nope. Bathroom filthy. In 1 stall toilet paper was stuffed into a football sized hole in wall. Floor littered, mold growing around the baseboards. Horrid smell.“
