“What an incredible little restaurant. I still can’t believe we happened across it! My boyfriend and I live in DC and eat out quite frequently, and Tavola topped some Michelin star restaurants we’ve tried. We were blown away by the kindness and knowledge of the sommelier and staff, the generosity and talent of the kitchen, and the overall atmosphere and ambiance. Every dish was on point, every service mark was hit, and I could write paragraphs about the wine recommendations. I would rate it more than five stars if I could. Huge thank you to Clay, Caleb, Kendall and everyone else we met for making our night so memorable. If you’re thinking about opening another location I vote DC!“

“Although the food was good, the menu is very limiting with just salads and sandwiches. I think they are cutting out a lot of potential dinner reservations with out with the fact that they removed true entrees from their offerings. Our server was awesome!!“

“I hosted a bridal shower for my sister at Ellie’s and it was amazing! Atmosphere is adorable and the food & drinks were fantastic. Definitely would recommend the tacos!!! The owner and staff were also so incredibly helpful. As a UVA alumna, I wish Ellie’s had been around when I was a student!“

“Had such a great belated birthday party with work friends. Jamie and her staff are amazing. they make you fell so welcome and ensure that you have a good time. Every thing was great from the music the food the drinks the painting. FABULOUS!!!!! if your looking to destress this is the place to go“

“Went to Glass Half Full with a friend for a quick lunch before shopping. We were seated quickly and waited on by a very friendly server while there. The service was fast, although I was a big fan of the grilled fish tacos I ordered. I think I would have preferred the fried version better. My friend however very much enjoyed her grilled salmon salad. I was also pleased at the attention that the server gave to my friends dairy allergy.“

“This was our first time here man was it good. Nice clean location and the service was great. So nice to walk into an actual pizza restaurant and get hit with the smells of pizza. Most of the places around here, just have pizza as an item on the menu, but not as the centerpiece. I ordered the side Caesar salad was delicious and the spinach and artichoke dip we ordered, was as well, but come on...8 little pieces of bread is not enough for all that dip. We ordered the house pizza to share and it was delicious. This is our new favorite Charlottesville pizza. Paper straws are trash…trash I say, and I will bring my own plastic straws next time.“

“Five stars for everything. This is a neighborhood restaurant with plenty of parking. Huge selection of beers on tap and in bottles. The Desert Fire Jalapeños deserve an award. Everything else we ordered (burger, salad, flatbread) were delicious. Highly recommended.“
