Starbucks in Chesapeake

“Me and the wifey went to Starbucks this evening and Abby Ella and Julian were very customer friendly and informative on all the great rewards and offers to check in our email which we totally forgot. We had saved us some starbucks and gave us some points/rewards. The lobby café was clean and our drinks were exactly what we needed to get our evening started off right!“

“This is not about the product: but on a rainy evening (18 July), a young staff member went out of his way to help a lost traveller with directions. I just want the staff member to know how much the effort was appreciated. I'm sorry I didn't get the staff member's name but thank you!“

“I ordered a coffee and it took 45 minutes for me to receive it. The employee's name was Madi I believe, and when I asked about the status of my order she passive aggressively sighed and proceeded to walk away from the espresso machine and complained to another coworker before walking off entirely! I've never felt more embarrassed and humiliated asking about my coffee before!!! Her coworker's were very nice and apologetic and handled my drink for me. I've never had an experience as repulsive as this before, and such behavior should never be tolerated in an establishment as fine as this. Thankfully the other employees we very nice and professional and handled me with the care and respect that she so very clearly lacked!“

“We moved to the Chesapeake area back in August of 2025 and naturally started coming to this particular Starbucks since it’s close to the house. I WILL FOREVER be loyal to this one Starbucks location. Kenya and Ju-Ju (Julius) are now apart of our family, haha. We absolutely and whole heartedly love these two and honestly as hard as they work and as amazing as they are they should be running the store! My three kids get so excited to see them (especially Kenya) and honestly it brings a smile to all our faces when they’re working…we’ve officially decided to adopt Kenya as Aunt Kenya and Julius as Uncle Ju-Ju. We even say love you now when we leave the window 🥹
I love these two and I love this Starbucks! (If head honcho see this give those two a raise!!!😂)

I’ll also add that this location is literally never out of anything unlike the other Starbucks in the 757. Everyone working is friendly and kind. I just cannot recommend coming here enough. This is and will always be my Starbucks an occasionally I’ll be a cheater and visit the oceanfront location BUT that’s only because of where I’m at 😂“

“I live right by the Moses grandy location. But I ONLY go to this location! Plus my business is right down the road. They make my drinks absolutely perfect. Especially today added more chocolate drizzle. It was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 everyone is super nice and even if its busy they always give great service and positive attitude towards me.“

“Is NOT drive-thru!!! Starbucks is inside the Harris teeter market store. However, is one of my favorite locations. Is worth the walk-in if you dislike the inconvenience, which it doesn't bother me. The super plus side, they often have all the new tumbler releases. Strongly recommend this location.“

“This is my go-to Starbucks and it never disappoints. The drinks are consistently great, but what really keeps me coming back is the people. Josh and Jordan are absolute standouts… always friendly, upbeat, and they make sure you leave smiling, even on a rough day. That kind of energy matters. Keep doing what you’re doing.“

“Rough start as expected with a brand new location, they got swamped the first couple of weeks, but ive been going since they opened. Staff is always polite and attentive as they can be, drinks have been great since the locations grand opening has calmed down and passed..“

I'm not one to write reviews but we all know it so hard to get people to do the littlest things for you in this day. “The other day it was very busy when I went to look for a Starbucks to get a coffee. I went to the other three in the area and they were packed so I went to the Starbucks inside the Harris teeter and I was surprised to see that there was no one there. Arielle was more than happy to help me and my friend with our order so much so that I had to post about it. She made me the absolute best chai latte. Thank you for being so kind. It made our day.“

“Great visit today during the snow! Store was busy but the employee helping me at the register was patient and so nice and helped me with a lot of gift cards for gifts and recommended the Caramel Brûlée latte and it was delicious. Thumbs up“

“I love the convenience of a drive through- HOWEVER I will give that convenience up for superior coffee and service!

I love this location inside Kroger. Everyone who works there is lovely and accommodating and honestly they make the best drinks.

“Met a friend for a quick drink. This location always seems busy. All the employees I've dealt with seem nice/professional enough. This time I tried one of the Pink Cannon Ball's. Never tried it before & I have to say it was very delicious. I added peach juice & strawberry puree this time & I loved it. Want to try adding tea with it next time! This location can get pretty busy & it is kind of a smaller store, but all in all I like the atmosphere, the drinks, etc. Will be back!“

“Great service here! The drinks always taste great! But its a little sad that people who leave reviews on this starbucks are sometimes leaving reviews for the starbucks around the corner. This one is located inside of Target. Good or bad, you reviews should be for the correct place.“

“Not sure why this store has low reviews, my experiences have been great. Im not a Starbucks person but received gift cards for Christmas. I've been here twice in one week..mind you there is a closer one to my house but that Starbucks is not as friendly. I liked my first interaction my first time here in drive thru, I didnt get his name but he worked New Year morning. Because of that, I came back today thru drive thru, Different people and they all just had such great service and attitudes while even with a long line. I definitely rather come here than the one that is closer to my house. Thanks for being so friendly especially after being I just got off a 12 hr shift, its warming to see. Ill probably be back tomorrow morning after work lol.“
