“The line at this particular store is always very long. Not sure that the staff can control that or do anymore than they are doing. It's just a busy location each time I've been there. I'm not sure why but it's a hectic area.“
“I can't say enough about all the employees there. I can walk in at 445 am and I'm always- always greeted with a smile and "Hi Todd" My caramel machiato is not the easiest thing to make. Over the years I have acquired a certain taste and they nail it every time.“
“OMG ??I went to Starbucks to pick up a Door Dash order & when I say Mr. Daniel SMILE ? was CONTAGIOUS when I walked through the door as he greeted me. I told him I was there to pick up an order, he did let me know that he was working on my order, as I watched him fix the order, I was very shocked ?, (HE DID SOMETHING NO OTHER STARBUCKS DID FOR ME) he places the stickers over my orders that were in the cups, he made sure nothing would spill out the cups, put them inside a 2 cup carrier VERY NEATLY, sat my order inside the bag PERFECTLY & PUT THE STICKERS ON THE BAG TO CLOSE MY ORDER PROPERLY! ??? I told Mr. Daniel no other Starbucks I pick up at does that ??♀️ & I DID HOWEVER TELL HIM I APPRECIATE HIM DOING THAT SO MY CUSTOMERS ORDER WOULD NOT SPILL!! ? MR. “The only down side to Starbucks, for me anyway, is the price. But once you accept that everything is getting more expensive and you generally get what you pay for, you suppress that penny-pinching quibble and enjoy the coffee. And the coffee is really why I go to Starbucks - a latte - no other adjectives (well, maybe, "Tall" or "Grande"). We did use their tables to kill a bit of time (waiting for the check-in time on a beach house we were renting), but the main reason we usually go to Starbucks is for the coffee, and they do that just fine.“
“Drive through is very efficient - 5 cars ahead of us, yet the orders were promptly filled so the line moved quickly. Bonnie took the order; she has a welcoming manner and and a pleasant voice. The lattes were good and the cups completely filled which I prefer - a layer of foam rather than half the cup.“
“Ordered a Frozen Mango Lemonade, barista was very helpful and happy in changing my order from a tall to grande. Although there was nothing wrong with my order, It would have been helpful to me if the barista team had better knowledge of the surrounding area.“

“If you work in this area, this is a prime choice for lunch. The ladies who work here are excellent cooks. They also seemed kind and gracious. I've only been here once since I'm rarely ever in this office park for long. For that reason, I can't provide much info on their menu or daily specials. The day I was there they were offering a Korean BBQ.“

“Shawn (young gang-affiliated black man) made my caramel brulee latte. He was VERY rude and several times attempted to STEAL my phone and also did not wear a hairbun when making my latte. This caused one of his dreads to fall into my latte and he didn't remove it. Then, he pronounced my wife's name "Jes-ee-ca" instead of Jessica. They always have to put their own swing on it. ? That being said, the dread added a unique flavor that I have not tasted before. I recommend you go there and try your latte with one of his dreads, it is quite unique.5/5“
“I had ordered from this location at 3:00 pm on 12/6/2023. My drink was absolutely amazing but I want to give a big thank you to the baristas on that shift (Brittany and Sarah) who were very kind to me after having a long day. Those two were really amazing and really brightened my day! Love this location with such great staff! Thank you “
“This is the best Starbucks in the area. We have always found the baristas to be friendly and fast, and the drinks are always accurate, quality, and yummy. Once we started doing the drive through mobile orders we noticed how fast the drive through goes, even when lots and lots of cars are ahead of us.Dietary restrictions: Excellent at accommodating custom orders.“

They know me from when I walk up to the window, or the second I pull up thru the drive-thru they know my car lol ? I don’t even tell them it’s me ! I love how personal they have become! I only go here and one other location on the other side of the water ! Cause I love the customer service and coffee ❤️ AWESOME ?? TEAM !“
“Love, love, LOVE Mama J's Kitchen. I pretty much always get the catfish, which is the BEST fried catfish I've EVER HAD... but it's all good. Just get what you like and see for yourself. Waits can be prodigious, but it's a fun place and everyone's SO NICE, it's no a bad thing. Great staff, generous martinis, incredibly delicious catfish! Nothing about it that I don't like.“
“I admit when it closed last year I was so confused because its location was perfect. Then they reopened WITH a drive thru! I love this because sometimes when driving from school to school and I have a craving a drive thru is way more convenient and less tempting for me. My son had a vanilla Frappuccino and no picture because he downed it pretty quickly. He said it was really good and everything was crushed (we have had ones where there were still big chunks of ice still in it). And my daughters looked amazing and she said it was very good as well. Glad to see this Starbucks open again and I'll be coming through drive through again soon!“
“Great place for your coffee and other drinks of this brand. The store is average-sized compared to their other stores. Prices are comparable to other similar stores. You can get drinks or even items to eat at this location. There is no drive thru. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.“

“#37/2020 Never had a problem or any issue at this particular Starbucks. Everyone has been beyond pleasant and genuinely friendly. Recently, a new barista was being trained but that didn't deter from the flow of things. My hand-crafted drink was made correctly and quickly as usual. This isn't one of their bigger locations but they keep a steady flow of customers, especially regulars. I know this because I always hear them being called by their first names. It's also one of their more dimmer locations as well with less natural light coming through. There's ample parking and there's nice outdoor seating being that they're at the end of the shopping center. Today's visit made me stop at the front door because there was a sign stating they were doing "Grab 'n Go" in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19. What this means is, you can still come in to order a drink or pick-up mobile orders; you just can't sit around, study, or socialize at the moment. You gotta enjoy your treat elsewhere for now.“

I went to go sit in to wait for a friend to get a hair cut next door BUT this has been converted to a walk-up & drive-thru only ?They do have seats outside, with fans & heaters, but it had rained so EVERY seat/table was WET ?Even the small counter top was soaked because the patio covering has a GAP where you stand to place your order!!!? “A bit overdue for this review and surprised to see after a year opening no one jumped on it. Previously Target had there own snack bar and a non corporate store now leases. The store is just inside the door. It's a bit surprising seeing such a large space with tables in front and side. The area was clean on both visits. They also have a decent amount of merchandise. My most recent I ordered a Carmel Ribbon Crunch. I was able to get Target points too and then used my Starbucks app. An easy process and my drink delicious. If I'm shopping Target find me in Starbucks.“

“This Starbucks is the only one in the Kemps River/Indian River Road area, nearest one is further down Kempsville Road and Princess Anne. Always busy at this Starbucks, long drive thru line moves pretty quickly. My friend and I walked in, we were greeted with a smile. Place is clean and bright/well lit. Does not seem to have a lot of tables maybe meant to truly be more of a drive thru. I ordered the Pink Drink (strawberry refresher with coconut milk) . Just the right amount of sweetness.“
“This Starbucks was particularly welcoming as it was cool and dry inside while it was hot and heavily raining outside. The young lady serving the coffees was kind and attentive despite a long shift. It was almost closing time.In the end, despite being uncomfortable due to nasty weather, the hot coffees were great!“
“The temperature of the coffee is inconsistent. It's sometimes luke warm and sometimes hot. It seems to be like that in all the stores. It's not enough to keep me away. Everything else is great, especially the service, and I go there all the time.“

“Admittedly, I am homeless, though I don’t really look like it. I don’t have a lot of resources, people to trust, or places to go in the area. Things aren’t very good. But this Starbucks has unironically became more of a home to me than I have had most of my life. They are extraordinarily kind, welcome me by name at the door, know what I need and get it in a fast fashion even though they know I am more than happy to wait. They are kind and loving. Starbucks is already a company full of compassionate workers, and I have visited many locations and have had many barista friends, but these people feel special to me. They truly make everyday better than it would be without them. Josh leads an incredible team, and Roxie has become an amazing friend and someone I can talk to about anything from childhood gaming to our gender journeys. When I am no longer homeless, these people will still be close to my heart and mind, and I hope to carry the grace they have given me back to them. :3Dietary restrictions: One of my friends is a pescatarian, and we both like to talk about all the places that do their part in serving options for those of different dietary restrictions and choices. He loves Starbucks for their food options always having something good and appetizing for him.“
“Starbucks never fails but this one is the best one I've ever been too! Sarah and the other two girls working there are incredible!! They greet everyone and they make it a point to get to know everyone. All their usual customers are greeted by name and they know at least one thing about them.
