“I really want to like this place more than I do. Was even tempted to rate at 3 stars, but the atmosphere is a lot of fun. Service is ok and food is alright (nothing special but my favorite item is the crab cake egg rolls). Decent crushes and plenty of flavor options. Be cautious of the seagulls if you’re sitting outside…they will absolutely snatch your food. They also typically have live music that can be hit or miss.“

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.“

“My fiancé and I have been here for the past two weeks, we'll be back on and off until winter because we have a place at Toms Cove but I can say the past 2 weeks we spent here, we went to steamers almost every night even if it was just to get one drink, a app and a shot then leave. We mainly went to the bar side and we had a brown hair waitress most days( i wish i asked her name), she was so wonderful, very respectful, attentive, super nice to every individual. She was the reason we kept going back almost every night. Definitely will be going back everytime were down here. The drinks are very well made, she makes a amazing Bahama momma drink, my fiance loved the mules.
Appetizers I love the potato skins, my fiance loves the clams. The atmosphere is very welcoming and very clean. The people who come in are normally a good crowd to be around. The dinning room we did one evening, its calm, welcoming, fast to get your food and drinks. Steak was good but had a decent amount of fat, so if you dont like fat do the filet. Seasoned very well, cooked well. My fiance loved the snow crab. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.“

“We have been to Ray's many times over the years & it has always been a nice experience. Tonight was the WORST service we have ever had. On top of that, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked & only 4 shrimp for $35. For the amount of $ spent, it was highly disappointing all-around.“

“Stopped here on the way home from Chincoteague. The former Crusty Crab closed and this restaurant in under new management. I must say that the crab sandwich I had this time was better than from previous owner. I will be back!.“

She said, “ I might have something!” She shuffled off and wife came back. The waitress came back with a piece of keylime-lemon cake. She loved it. Definitely need to get there and get some relaxing done. 👍“
