I came because of the vegetarian options and opted for something I would never normally try: the broccolini and sun dried tomato sandwich. Sometimes this tactic pays off, other times it’s a bust. Regrettably this choice didn’t pay off. I won’t hold it against them too much. It was a risky choice; I guess I don’t like sundried tomatoes as much as I thought I did. The bread however was great, and the atmosphere perfect for a lunch. I’ll try again another day and update the review.“
“This is the best dining experience I've ever had. The cafe is SO cute and cozy, we came around brunch and ordered 2 delicious melts. The owner was so lovely, I felt like I was in a completely safe environment away from the typical hustle and bustle of Fairfax that is totally rare to find. If you're the type of person to get a little overwhelmed by fast-paced environments like me, this is the place for you. “I went here one Sunday after church. I placed the order online in advance. I went in, and there were 2 women close to the counter, and other than that, they were no other patrons in the restaurant.Two employees were off to the left. The gentleman seemed to be taking an order via the a young lady standing next to him. She did not greet me nor come to the front counter.A 3rd person - a woman was cooking and getting the other we rs ready, she is who greeted me.A 4th gentleman came out of the kitchen and, again, noacknowledgment.The food was good. We got 1- steak & cheese and 1-meatball subs and teg and curly fries.I would go back because the food was good, but I wouldn't give them 5 stars or refer them because the service is not good.“
“Subway is a go to staple of mine. Today due to many factors I needed to buy lunch and was on 123. I saw this subway and pulled in. First off they greeted me as I entered. Nice touch. The store was adequately staffed and turning sandwiches fast. Everyone was friendly and professional. I ordered the subway club which is thankfully back on the menu. When I started eating my sandwich the first thing I noticed was the roll. This was much better then any subway I have been to. The roll had a nice crust and was soft and fluffy on the inside like it should be. All the ingredients tasted fresh and I have never been happier with a sandwich from subway in all the years I have been going (20+) Great crew at this location.“

“I came here on a weekday and ordered a New York steamer sub. As far as the service and food everything was great. I especially enjoyed the taste of the sandwich, even though it wasn't as big as other subs in the area the taste was hard to beat and the amount was just enough and not to filling.As for the restaurant, everything was tidy and they actually had firefighter jackets on the wall which was cool. That being said I look to coming back when I'm in the area.“
“Great veggie sub. I would prefer hot pepper relish to the options of raw jalapeños and a variety of hot sauces in packets, but the sub was delicious. All the ingredients were tasty and I liked the selection of ingredients like caramelized onions and grilled bell peppers. I asked for it as it is listed on the menu, no changes or substitutions, and i would get it again. The hot sauce selection was pretty good.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub with grilled veggies and cheese. You can skip the cheese and adjust the sauce for a vegan version. The whole wheat bun was fine. The bun is not toasted and it's kind of soft, not rough or rough, and the sub ingredients are grilled.Parking: There's a row of spots right by the door and lots more beyond that.“

“Just happened to be passing by and it was the only thing open in the morning. Very lucky it was the only thing bc this place was so delicious. We ordered sandwiches and soup and they were delicious! Not to mention, the owners/employees are super kind. They knew right away I wasn't a regular presumably from the office and thanked me for stopping by. They are one the floor of the office building so at first you might be like, where are we?! But it's not that hard to find - - there are helpful signs. It's very worth the visit!!“

“They prepare tasty and varied sandwiches. Although the place is rather small, things are usually requested by phone, there is room for a couple of tables and in summer another two outside. They are fast in preparing the order and I repeat, these sandwiches are "tasty". Parking is free and there are plenty around.“

The service is overall very quick, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is pleasant, it's always nice to walk into Huntsman Square and be greeted by the aroma that the Subway gives.I think Subway's quality of food has gone down, and priced more than it deserves, but when the frequent coupons come around it's sometimes worth going with friends. “Super late craving for this pregnant mama! And the chantilly location on Metrotech closed an hour early! So I called this location and told them my situation and oh my gosh I will never go to any other firehouse! They were so nice. We got here In about 10 minutes and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a perfect smile and “welcome to firehouse” they were soooo nice. Especially Fernando! He deserves a raise or something really special. He was so personable and understanding. It was like talking to a friend! Our card wasn’t working and he was so patient with us and helped us out. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at firehouse.“
“There is particular Hispanic young lady who I find to be a little rude. I often visit and each time she’s behind the counter preparing my food she seems to be a bit rush y with my order. I usually have special details (not complicated at all) about my sandwich that she seems to disregard and simply not take seriously. I truly hope that she understands she is working in a “customer service” based environment and should practice being a little more friendly. She’s the only one whom I’ve dealt with there who i particularly find rude and dismissive. Also, while I was in the middle of giving her my order, she totally yawned in my face with out even covering her mouth or excusing herself. Unprofessional and rude towards a customer in my opinion.“
“Just wanted to give a shout out to this Subway, my experience was incredible. I'm normally a very hard person to please and the staff in this Subway really wowed me. That Italian sub on herb & cheese bread had to have been one of my top five favorite subs of all time. “I generally hate paying money for a sandwich I could make at home myself, but this was different. The staff was patient with us and went over everything in their meals. The manager overheard me asking about the potato soup and came out from the back to explain. Turns out all their soups and breads are made fresh on premises. The atmosphere is considerably better than Subway, and feels like a restaurant rather than a kitchen with tables.“

Not all Subways are the same, due to franchisees and standards. They aren't alone in this, as other chains have the same issue. Yet this one is about as good as it can get. Every time visited, it's nice being acknowledged quickly. So is the cleanliness. This is sterling, and also the organization of chips, drink cups, and other essentials is military like. For franchise owners not "cutting the mustard," you'll want to see this. Meats and vegetables are the proper temperatures, along with being extraordinarily fresh. Yes the menu is the same, but inside along with attention to detail on sandwiches, this is where the benchmark is. Great for quick meals.“

Some businesses run out and/or what's left on the menu is in poor shape. Greeted as I entered the store by a gentleman cleaning the seating area. The lady behind the counter was helpful picking out a sandwich. She was quick and efficient in making my sandwich. Another gentleman behind the cash register handled the transaction quickly as well. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and it was a great experience.“
“We always go to this subway when we get subs. We went yesterday and there was a new younger boy working in there. He made our sandwiches great. He did not squish our bread and there were no finger prints on our bread. It was cut perfectly. Kuddos to him. Normally the ladies that work there squish the bread when cutting it but he didn't.“
