“Decent place to stop for a quick bite“

“I hadn’t been to IHOP in years due to previous bad experiences but decided to go to this one on a whim and it brought me back to being a fan. Raquel and the other morning waitstaff are always friendly and they know all the regulars by name and by order. Food is always good and quick.“

“Today was good at IHOP! Arrived for an early breakfast - 7:30am. The atmosphere was warm, quiet and non- bussling lol.
Shout out to the Cook/Chef for those amazing cheddar cheesy eggs! I always get the Split Decision all bacon. It was more tasty this time around. Also, want to shout out, David, the waiter, who was attentive and did not leave me waiting.

“I live in Stafford went by here many times wondering if they did Lox. After a dental appointment down Garrisonville and starving, I went I and the best lox bagel ever!“

“Our server was Beatrice. What an awesome lady. She knew the menu inside and out as my wife wanted to substitute pork options off her plate. She was a joy to speak with and always had a smile on her face. Also Mike the manager, asked us if our food was good. Customer service is what it's all about so this IHOP which is very busy was operating like a smooth running machine.“

“This was my second time dining at S & G.

The first visit caught me off guard, in a very good way, so I came back with the intention of sitting down and reviewing the food.

I ordered the breakfast sampler, which came with crispy pork bacon, greasy pork sausage, perfectly salty pork ham, fried eggs (done however you like), and a side of hashbrowns that are worth dying for (though you can choose from a variety of sides). The whole plate hit that comforting, real American diner balance: salty, crispy, and soft in all the right places.

But the real standout was the French toast. Thick and dense, yet still soft, it soaked up the syrup beautifully and somehow kept tasting better with each bite. It was piled with strawberries and bananas, and the smell was something else, sweet fruit, powdered sugar, and syrup blending into the bitter aroma of black coffee and the rich, salty scent of the meats.

The coffee was absolutely invigorating.

S & G doesn’t rely on looks, but it captures exactly what a breakfast diner is meant to be.

I’m definitely coming back for a third round.“

HUGE props to management but MASSIVE props to staff for actually coming through with the best experience possible. The food is fresh and they keep the place running like clockwork.
