“Found this place across the street from my hotel. I ordered the curry puff which was a great homemade appetizer. Soft and crispy with plenty of filling and flavor. For entree I ordered the beef massaman curry. It was a big portion, tender beef and the curry was well balanced and just the right amount of spice that I like. Overall a great meal and the staff were very kind. Restaurant is not small but only has about 9 tables that seat 4-5. Some have benches. Very clean and comfortable environment. Recommend to anyone.“

“Dok Khao Thai Eatery is great food, full stop. All the usual Thai staples, plus some very delicious chef's specialties. The interior is just fancy enough if you feel like "doing it up", or casual enough that you don't feel underdressed in T-shirt and jeans. Highly recommended.“

“The food was incredible. My kids , wife and I went here this afternoon and it was quiet and clean. 3pm on a Friday afternoon when there are not to many people. We heard about this place from a friend and it was the perfect place. I ordered the chicken satay and Penang chicken curry. Kids got chicken curry puffs with calamari . Just the right amount of spice and coconut- the rice is wonderful - sticky . I think this is the best Thai restaurant in stafford. The waiter was courteous and prompt with our food. We didn't wait long - everything was perfect. I would recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone who's in the area interested in great authentic Thai food. I'm definitely going to come back here again and try some other dishes.“

“Absolutely delicious food! Good portions and affordable prices! Online ordering was quick and easy and the cashier was great at informing me that our order was slightly different because they were out of something. The curry puffs are unbelievable! Chicken curry puffs were sold out so we got 2 veggies, can't wait to try the chicken next time. My pad see ew was cooked perfectly and the tofu was not over cooked like I've had at many other Thai restaurants in the area. My daughter also loves the chicken wontons (crispies, as she calls them). Will 100% be back soon! I would post pictures but the food didn't last long enough this time!“

“I came here with a colleague/friend and his wife for dinner. Overall, I enjoyed it.The food, service, and atmosphere are good. The fried pork belly dish that I had was excellent. The location in Occoquan's historic district can't be beat. The buildings are quaint, the river is right there, and there's a park, walking paths, and a foot bridge to cross the river.I have to give a lot of props to the young lady who was serving the entire dining room. It was just her, and she did an excellent job serving the tables and handling takeout orders by herself. At around 6 PM when I got there, the restaurant was empty. Shortly after I arrived, four or five parties of people came in, and she handled everything well. She also did a great job handling a very rude, condescening woman who kept asking her dumb questions about the menu and wasting her time.I would definitely return to Bann Thai Old Town for another dining experience or a takeout order.Parking: There are parking spaces available along the street. There's a large parking lot located about a half a mile away.“

“We've found our new favorite Thai restaurant! We tried the chicken pad Thai, massaman curry, panang curry, rama noodles and mango sticky rice. Everything was a 10/10. I'm suggest ordering it early especially on the weekends because they tend to be backed up and you could be waiting up to an hour for pick up. I promise it is worth the wait.“

“It is not service with a smile, but the food is good. The greeter/server is not to be played with, but we made her crack a smile. It's cute inside, spacious and yet small and comforting. We tried the crab rangoon, they were decent. The soups look amazing. Full of chicken and flavor. I also got drunken noodles, medium heat. Be aware...Thai medium is not for your average joe! I drank all my water, it was hot! Other dishes that were said to be good were the pad thai and choo chee salmon.“

“Good food and a decent value. I went for lunch and had the Bento with ginger chicken. The meal was tasty and the portions were just right. The atmosphere and service are nothing special but I would recommend the place for a quick work lunch for under $20.“
