“We visited Hill Top for one of the stops on my bachelorette weekend trip and this was definitely the best place we visited! They were SO friendly and treated us like family, let us meet the goats and dogs, and had the best wine and mead. We’re so glad we stopped here!“

“This was such an unexpected find! I heard VA was known for their ciders. Ciders are typically too sweet for my taste but Albermarle offers dry ciders. It was super crisp and refreshing, especially for a hot summer day! We had our dog with us, and they were super nice and let him come inside since it was so hot outside. They also have snacks for sale and live music.“
“We went when it was just starting to rain, and expected a bunch of people to be there. this is a diamond in the rough. its a very intimate place and the wine is wonderful! We went to 5 different places and this was the only one where we purchased a bottle. Will definitely be back!“
“This review is long overdue, but I want to thank Loving Cup Winery for providing a beautiful background for my friend's birthday party last fall. The grounds of the winery are well manicured and there is a sense of peace and tranquility that I have not found at some of the larger area wineries. It was a joy to work with Karl in hosting this celebration at Loving Cup. He was patient and responsive with my emails in regard to coordinating the event timeline. On the day of the event, it was simple to set up and the lower level of the property provided us with a lovely and welcoming ambiance. The wines were all exceptional. I highly recommended Loving Cup Winery and thank you again for the hospitable service.“

“Looking for a good brewery, and a place to eat look no further. We did have to wait for a table, but we were seated far quicker than the expectation. This is by far the best brewery and Restaurant close to the Wintergreen resort area. The beer was absolutely fantastic and the food was incredible. I had the Philly cheesesteak, and it was by far the best one I have ever had. Also, had the Parmesan fries so delicious. The service was great and very attentive. We had Martha as our server she was fantastic!“
“We visited this property on Friday 5 April 2024. It's really out of the way if approaching from Afton but not so much if approaching from Charlottesville. We arrived from Afton and the last five miles were a one lane gravel road. If you remember that '70s movie Delivernace you could hear the Banjo playing.The first impression was that this is a low budget operation compared to places in Afton such as Pollak or Veritas. Don't let first impressions fool you. The money and the passion are in the wines here. If you enjoy fine wine in a non-pretentious environment then you should make the effort to find this vineyard. The server seemed far more widely travelled and knowledgeable than anyone else at the other vineyards we visited on this trip. Highly recommended,“
