McDonald's in Fairfax

“This is my number 1 McDonald's in the whole Virginia. The staffs are always nice. The DRINKS!!! Especially, the Diet Coke, they are always crisp and have perfectly balanced syrup and carbonated water. ALWAYS ON POINT!!! Also, their breakfast sandwiches, so moist and plump. It's almost as good as the homemade breakfast sandwich. They don't taste fake. I have yet to try on their regular lunch/dinner menus yet. But if I am craving for a good Diet Coke, I go here. RECOMMEND!!!“

“No McDonald’s, however good will ever be able to exceed four stars. Aside from being fast food, there is one very huge problem at all McDonald’s : they serve the serve the coffee SCALDING hot. You would think after their huge lawsuit, a decade or more ago, but they would have stopped that! But no. It’s just gone from nuclear hot to lava hot. I timed it. It will literally take 20 minutes - sometimes longer - to get to the proper drinkable temperature. From the time it served even up to 10 minutes you will literally scold your mouth and tongue. Waiting over 10 minutes to be able to actually enjoy your coffee is 100% unacceptable. Risking burning your mouth to the extent that you hurt yourself to a first or second-degree burn of your skin or tongue is also completely unacceptable. Reducing regulating the temperature of the coffee is a no cost solution. In fact that might actually cost them them LESS not to consume so much electricity to overly brew and heat the coffee.

Aside from the coffee temperature emergency, I do not otherwise have any significant problem with any remodeled McDonald’s in the DMV. The new decor is a bit dreary and depressing. However, it is functional.“

“I usually hate McDonalds but i go drawn in with hungry kids for their $5 meal deal. This has been one of the best McDonald’s that I have been to in a LONG time. This is what you expected of a McDonalds from growing up in the 90’s. The staff was super friendly even when they brought out our food. Restaurant was very clean. Food was HOT even the fries. Best part was no annoying food timers blaring out of the kitchen. I swear almost every single one i have been to lately has timers going off that are very loud. So if you have to go to a McDonalds. This is the one.“

“I don’t normally get fast food but I had a good experience at this location. First, this location was PACKED, both in the drive through and inside, but that didn’t stop the team here from helping or executing things quickly and efficiently. I’d like to especially highlight the food runner Kim at this location. She was so kind, chipper, and helpful. She prioritized me as a customer and took pride in what she does. She set the tone for my morning and I’m thankful. Keep up the good work Kim!“

“Very busy place, and there was a slight language barrier at first. The gal taking my order could not find a buttom for the Huntrix meal and became frustrated, then just walked away.... I flagged down the manager, Laura, and she helped. She was absolutely great!!!

Can you give Laura a raise, please!“

“We had an awesome time at this McDonald’s today. It’s my go-to location personally. Today, my wife and I brought our three year old grandson to have breakfast. Debra took our order and absolutely made our day. She was so kind and thoughtful.“
