Starbucks in Fairfax

“I used to visit this Starbucks regularly. Since I was in the area, I decided to stop by and grab a hot latte. The latte was good—a smooth, warm coffee drink made with strong espresso and steamed milk, which was perfect for today's weather. The service was okay, but my table was sticky and had some cookie crumbs, which I had to wipe off myself.“

“I went to get my Pistachio Latte, and it was fantastic—just the right balance of not too sweet with a delightful pistachio flavor and creamy texture. It was absolutely perfect. The Pistachio Cream Cold Brew was equally impressive, strong and satisfying. This Starbucks location stands out with its quiet, spacious atmosphere, cleanliness, and easy access to complimentary parking outside. Plus, the service was fast.“

“Randy is hands down the best Starbucks staff member I’ve ever encountered across all the countries I’ve visited.

To be honest, this particular Starbucks doesn’t have great connectivity compared to the outdoor areas. While waiting in line to place my order, I received a notification to update the Starbucks app. I let four or five people go ahead of me as I tried to complete the update, but in the end, the app wouldn’t update properly. I had no choice but to use a physical Starbucks card that wasn’t linked to the app to place my order.

About five minutes later, when the crowd had thinned out a bit, I went back to the counter to request a refund and repurchase using my updated card. That’s when I met Randy. Even though the whole process was rather inconvenient, Randy stayed calm and reassured me every time I apologized, saying it was no trouble at all.

Thanks to his kindness and professionalism, I’m writing my very first Google review. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how valuable and rare such genuine kindness can be. Thank you, Randy, for making my day a little brighter.“

“We just moved to this area and this is my new Starbucks! It was clean and the Baristas were nice. My drink was made quick and a lady name Ronda offered my small kiddo a plate for her muffin and got her a fork. Next time I’ll use the pretty coffee mugs they have“

“If I could give this Starbucks location a 10 star review…I absolutely would! Their customer service is top notch with their team jumping in to help when needed, to bringing my For-Here coffee to my table (when it’s not busy), to clearing off the mug and plates from my table, and for simply being extremely friendly! I have never been one to tip at a coffee shop…but ever since they began the cafe-style service, I 100% do! Today I didn’t have time to stay and went thru their drive thru…I wish I had gotten the drive-thru employee’s name, as he made my entire day! He handed me the food and then before handing me my drink…he took a few seconds to write a couple of sweet notes on my cup. (U R Awesome and Good Vibes :) ) and handed it to me with a nod and smile! Fantastic team!“

“So, I'm here on a Thursday morning. Been sitting here for roughly about an hour. Let me tell you, this team is on point! The team here has been moving non-stop and I'm not exaggerating. They take turns with cleaning, serving, making, cashiering, etc. They are super jolly and set a great mood. My hot chocolate was delicious as was my spinach and feta wrap. Truly amazed. Y'all need a raise.

Parking: Large parking lot for the shopping center. There is parking on the side of the shop as well that is not in the main shopping center parking lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: The side parking has handicap parking and ramp on sidewalk. Although the location is narrow, there is plenty of room for wheelchairs. All tables are wheelchair available too (not grounded and small enough to move if needed).“

“This is my preferred local neighborhood Starbucks. We have 3 within easy walking distance, but this one is consistently fast, not crazily crowded, and I have received far few mismade or poorly made orders from this location comoared to the others. The staff here is also really warm, I love the morning crew!“

“Lady who served me today at around 1:15 (unfortunately didn’t get her name) was so lovely! The coffee was perfect and the service was amazing. I love coming to this Starbucks as it is very consistent and the service is so pleasant everytime.“

“I often order a drink from this Starbucks in the mornings. The morning staff is wonderful. My drink is always ready when I order via the app, it tastes consistent every day, and the baristas are just the right amount of friendly, without being overly perky in the morning, which is appreciated. When I’ve gone in the afternoon, they’re great then too.“

“The staff was nice. I understand it gets busy and such. No complaints about the location staff but the location had a visit from who I am assuming is their District or Regional Manager and she was very rude to them. I didn't appreciate that.“

“This location along with the starbucks on 10344 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030 are the ONLY TWO locations worth going to! They have your order correct the first time and I've never had to DRIVE back. I would make rather come here and or drive out of my way for great customer service and product. Its never rushed and always correct!“

“I forgot to ask for coconut milk and the staff was very kind and helpful about it. I have social anxiety so this was a huuuge relief. The barista even confirmed with me that I wanted both nondairy milk and regular cold foam since cold foam has dairy in it. That was a very thoughtful touch that made me feel valued. “Not sure why the reviews are so bad. There's a nice little sitting area close to the exit/entrance of the Giant (inside). The barista (female) was so so nice when I was ordering today. I barely see baristas making small conversations with customers this days. Also, the new bar, salad bar, and other food arrangements of Giant are right there next to the Starbucks corner. I'd come back for groceries, grab lunch/coffee and enjoy in the University complex outside.“

“Excellent service, it appears they have some trainees so patience is advised, we all gotta start somewhere anyways. When it gets crowded they do their best to do their job and complete all the orders regardless of the rudeness and impatience of other customers. I do advise coming 5-10 before closing if you’re running late because they start parking at that time, I mean obviously, it takes time to clean and prepare for the next day. But they also seem to follow the rules as the other areas in Giant, which close 15 minutes before 8, for the same reason. But overall, a good place, kind and great service, and really hard working employees who go above and beyond. Sometimes it isn’t the employees that’s are the problem, but the customers. Learn some patience and kindness, it’ll help in every other area of life.
