“My friend David Nguyen recommended me this sushi spot in Fairfax and I have to say- I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. The service is fantastic and sushi isn't good- it's phenomenal! We ordered the 208 pieces for 6 of us and we weren't too hungry going into but that sushi boat was devoured in less than 10 mins. “Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“Wow. Incredibly impressed with this place. The coffee tasted amazing. The latte was fantastic (get the vanilla cream) with a perfect amount of foam on top. The Nutella acma and the egg sandwich were a perfect start to the day. And everything reasonably priced. Better than reasonable- I haven’t seen a $5 breakfast sandwich in years. And a flavored latte under $5 is almost unheard of. Bathroom was clean. This place was great and I can’t wait to go back.“

“I ordered for pickup so I was only able to experience in atmosphere for a short period. The dan dan noodles is one of the best that I have had in the US. The only other one that I had that was better was when I lived in China. I wish they had a location back in Boston.

“This place was a quick find for our first American restaurant experience in the States after being away for four years.

Here’s my take on this restaurant from a European perspective. The portions are huge and the menu is plentiful. The service was amazing and prompt. Our waitress Pía was exceptionally personable and helpful. On weekends they serve brunch, which was lovely. The waffles and syrup in the chicken and waffles complemented one another perfectly. However, the chicken was less than tasty. It lacked flavor that even the syrup couldn’t supplement. The dinning area is huge and has an inviting feel.

Overall, the meal was good but lacked in some areas. The price for lunch/brunch floored me: $114 for a family of four! That’s a little too steep for this dad. Nevertheless, the experience was fun and the dinning was great for our first meal back.“

“They used to be great. Recently though, they have gone downhill. Less quality ingredients and/or less protien ingredients. I will still go, but not nearly as much.
So, I returned to eat here recently and the food quality and flavors are back, I'm happy to write! Well done. I'll be going more often again.“
