“We recently ordered from Spin Pollo Restaurant, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. The portions were incredibly generous, giving us more than enough for everyone, and every single person at the event commented on how much they enjoyed their meal. It’s rare to find a place where every dish hits the mark, but Spin Pollo truly delivered.

What impressed us just as much as the food was the level of customer service. The team was attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everything went smoothly. Their professionalism and kindness made the experience even better, and it’s clear they take pride in both their food and the way they treat their customers.

“This place does not disappoint! Best staff, service and food! The chicken and fries are the best! I used to go to Eddie’s but after their restaurant burned their chicken was never the same so we started to come here and we love it! Yesterday they were so busy they had an hour wait but we had been craving their chicken for weeks so we went to run some errands and came back to pick up our chicken! It was delicious! Highly recommend this place!“

“I've been getting 1/4 chicken with rice and beans for some time now. This place has been really yummy to eat at.
If you are in the Falls Church location and or traveling through Northern Virginia area you should definitely stop in and try their menu.
The flavor on the chicken is delicious and made in the house.
The food is superb and extremely enjoyable.
The manager and staff are knowledgeable and friendly and always suggesting new options.
I stopped by today and got some chicken to eat and it has been a while and as always it was extremely delicious with the yellow sauce on the side. This cream sauce is house made home made and prepared fresh everyday. The place was extremely immaculate and well kept. As I was sitting down and enjoying my food although it was close to closing the staff was super friendly and my food was out of this world. I also ate a Peruvian cookie delicious!“

C & J is our go-to carryout for delicious meals that travel well: consistently perfect chicken, rice and beans, slaw, etc. You can eat in but it’s bare bones—clean, not fancy. We’ve been going to this place for years and have never been disappointed. Only downside—we miss you when we’re away. I’d give more stars if i could!“

“The food was delicious . I really enjoyed the fried yucca. It was light and crispy for yucca fries. I really enjoy the chicken, it was flavorful and juicy. The fried rice could have been a little better. It was sitting in the warmer for a while, so it was a bit on the dry side. Overall, great place to have something quick and convenient.“

“Carlos and Kevin took great care of us. The lavender blueberry margaritas and food were excellent! I went with the Lomo a lo Pobre which had tender steak, crispy and fluffy fries, sautéed veggies, fried egg and plantain. There wasn’t a grain of rice left when I was done.

“I’ve passed this place a million times and never paid attention until now. Fantastic Peruvian chicken experience: the 1/2 white meat chicken, yucca fries, and plantains were all so flavorful. My sister ordered the chicken saltados over yucca friends (instead of regular fries—pro move IMO) which was flavorful and good.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean. I won’t be sleeping on this place anymore. Can’t wait to come back!“

“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?“

“As soon as we walked in, the bartenders waved us to the bar like we were old friends and were so friendly. We came at 10pm on a Friday night and didn’t know they have one side of the restaurant as a club so be warned it gets very loud because of the music. We didn’t care but I know some people may find the info useful. We got the steak fajitas and ceviche and the steak was some of the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche was really good but super spicy and a lot of lemon. We had a good laugh at the guys singing karaoke and everyone included us in the shenanigans! If you want a fun night out, try this place. If you want a quiet peaceful dinner, maybe try to dine at an earlier hour.“

Easy to order online/over the phone, staff is very helpful when you are trying to order for another and don't understand their request, and they are just nice when you walk in. “It's impossible not to compare Don Pollo to other local Peruvian chicken places, like Crisp & Juicy or el Pollo Rico. Because of that there's a high bar set. The chicken is fresh, juicy, and well seasoned, but I'd have preferred a more crispy skin. The black beans and rice lacked flavor, definitely needed salt. The fries were where they lost me. They weren't fresh, weren't seasoned, weren't hot, and worst of all, they were kind of soggy. The sauces were very good. You get a bright green spicy sauce, that seems to be made from fresh peppers, perhaps jalapeño. Then there's a mayo based creamy orange colored sauce. Frankly because the chicken is so well seasoned, I don't think it needs sauce, but it's nice to have the option.“
