We each had a flight and really enjoyed the wine so we bought several bottles to take home. We sat outside at a firepit because it was an unreasonably warm March afternoon, but the inside has plenty of ambience as well. Definitely worth a stop!”

I do wish there was indoor seating as it is getting colder, but they were doing a brisk takeout business when we were there. Do yourself a favor and try Con Salsa. Everything we have tried is amazing.”

“My husband and I are from out of state and stayed at a near by hotel. We decided to give this restaurant a try and truly enjoyed it. The place is very clean and the music was at the right level - not too loud or too quiet. My husband devoured the shrimp tacos. I had the sopes Al Pastor. I was very happy to find that the meat was flavorful and juicy. The marinade was perfect.

Since we usually come down from out of state a few times a year we will be making this a usual spot for when we visit.

If you are staying at the nearby Hyatt or Hilton hotel - it is walking distance (literally just walk across the parking lot).”

However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!”

We drove an hour and a half to go for my birthday and it was worth it as always. I got the classic Steak Burrito with hatch chilies. It reminds me of hatch chili season with them roasting in the oven air in Austin. My wife got the Chuy-changa that's her fact. Tyy was awesome, really pushing the experience over the top with her friendlyness and just cheerful demeanor. The whole experience was top notch, just be careful not to over eat!”

The Beach House in Virginia is such a fun place to hang out! The whole beach-bar theme makes you feel like you’re kicking back on vacation, even if you’re just stopping by after work. It’s also an awesome spot to watch a game — plenty of TVs, great energy, and a crowd that actually gets into it.

The food was fantastic. I ordered buffalo wings — all flats and extra crispy — and they absolutely delivered. Big, meaty wings (none of those tiny “where’s the rest of it?” wings you get at some places), cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor.

Cocktails? Not weak at all. They know what they’re doing behind the bar, and it shows.

And the service… easily some of the best I’ve had. Friendly, fast, and super welcoming — the kind of staff that makes you want to come back again.

If you’re looking for great food, strong drinks, and a fun atmosphere to catch a game, The Beach House is the move!”

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!”

“Unfortunately this location is very inconsistent. Shame on us for continuing to order after several inaccurate orders that were reported through surveys and acknowledged, but we had hope that those were one offs. When they are good, they are good. But when they are bad, it's so random as to how bad they are. I've had the occasional sauces (paid extra) forgotten all the way to ordering a vegetarian pizza only to have it arrive with chicken on it. I then even let them get me two times back to back where I ordered the heavily advertised hot honey (also paid extra for this extra) and didn't get it either time. The last straw, ordered at 10:30pm, received a notification at 11:15pm (email) that my pizza was on the way. At 12:18am it was delivered. I am completely aware that it was obviously a very busy night. However, my food rode around in a car for at least an hour, and it showed. That's a problem. I confess that we have ordered once since then but it was going in knowing that it would likely suck. And while it came as ordered, and in a timely manner, it's no where near the quality it was when this location first opened and hasn't been in a very long time.”

“My husband and I frequent this location as we only live about 25 minutes away. While the menu is smaller than the original location in farmville, we have not had anything bad from this location. The service is always fast and we hardly ever have to ask for anything as our servers will check on us frequently. We have gone at all times of the day and all different days and don’t have any complaints! We even take our infant daughter with us, who just sleeps while we eat. If a manger is there while we are, they almost always stop by our table for a chat. We have never had any issues with food not being hot or missing anything or not being cook just right. There are one or two servers that aren’t super friendly and we prefer not to have them but I feel like that’s probably how it is at most restaurants. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food! Would recommend this location to any and everybody looking for a new food spot!”

I grew up a mile from the Jersey Mike's in Bon Air and ate there at least twice a week from the day they opened. I was ALWAYS more than happy there and I still go back occasionally when I go to my grandparents house...the Short Pump location is every bit as excellent. I'm 25 minutes away so I don't eat there as often as I'm used to, but until one opens in Montpelier I will make do with the Short Pump location. Thanks guys!”
