“Give the is tavern your business. Seriously impressed with our waitress tonight and the entire team. We walked in at 8pm after a soccer game with 20 people. We were welcomed in, sat and out by 9:30pm. Just amazing service overall and the food was great! Next time we are back for Jeff Cup we will be back. Thank you for taking care of us tonight!“

“Came in before a show at the Camel. Service was wonderful. Amongst myself and company we tried the oysters, fish chowder, chicken wings, trout de florentine (sp?), and three of the cocktails which I forget the names of but they were delicious. Lovely experience and bartenders were especially hospitable (we sat at the bar).

Def plan to return. Oysters were great. Very few places in town have actual choices in selection.

Parking: Not sure about designated parking. Found some street parking within a block or so.“

My husband really enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. The portions are huge, neither one of us could finish. Everyone needs to come eat here. I need this place to succeed. “My friends and I had a fantastic time indulging in multiple rounds of Lemon Drop Martinis, along with delicious appetizers like cornbread and wings, followed by a delightful dinner. Our server was exceptional, making the evening even more special as we celebrated my friend's birthday. To our surprise, they treated my friend to a complimentary glass of Prosecco adorned with a birthday candle. We couldn't resist sharing our entrees, which included smoked brisket meatballs, pan-roasted shrimp, and fried catfish, all of which were incredibly tasty. The portions were generous enough for sharing, and the fried catfish was simply the best we've ever tasted, prompting us to order some to take home. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for a cozy evening with friends or family!“

“The restaurant was very open and spacious with a full bar. I thought it might be very noisy because of the incredibly tall ceilings, but it wasn't. Service was prompt and efficient, our order of chicken sandwich and beet salad arrived promptly. Both were good quality and quantity roughly $15 each. Great beer, wine and cocktail selection. Wasn't impressed with the rib egg roll, they were popular though. Street parking could be a challenge during peak dining hours.

“this right here is the place to be good music best djs the staff was very professional and shout to the security guard at the front entrance for being very professional and nice but still held it down the atmosphere is so classy and shout out to the dj in the library always play the classics the food is on point and drinks a must place to visit and get your party on and shout out to host on the mic you have put Richmond back on the map once again I always enjoy myself and friends when we are at your HOFHEIMER and last to the mangers that keep it real and do interact with everyone .“

“Visiting VA & was trying to find a nice chill bar to have drinks. We ended up here—atmosphere is very dim/jungle themed, played alternative/disco music at a moderate volume, drinks were also great as well as the service! We had the Espresso Martini and Mental Gymnastics. I highly recommend if you are trying to find a hidden gem bar. Parking can be hard to find but we found street parking and walked over to the bar.“

“What an unexpected culinary treat. We wanted to try out Mantu after reading a favorable article about it in the RTD a few months ago. We belong to a gourmet group and I can't wait to bring them back with me to this delightful restaurant. Our dumpling appetizer of an encrusted whole egg was subtle, different, and enjoyable. Our main course kebabs were nothing like meat and veggies on a skewer, there were no skewers in sight just wonderfully grilled, tender, and amazingly flavored lamb and vegetables. Our desserts of custard with fruit and a very imaginative take on baklava were a perfect close to the meal. In the end, it was the remarkable and very different use of unusual spice combinations, together with a friendly and engaged staff and chef that will guarantee our early return. P.S. the Afghan cuisine, if you have never experienced it, is quite different from the cuisine of India and Nepal.“

“I took my mother to the Byrdhouse rooftop bar for her birthday and my experience was amazing, mainly due to the perfect service and personality of the bartender named Aidan. His drinks were amazing and he was very attentive. And that doesn’t even go to mention the amazing view and great food. This place was a complete vibe and I will be coming back with my friends. I got the pimento cheese with pork rinds, hummus, and shrimp tacos. All were amazing. Only suggestion is the salsa on the tacos should be a little thicker and add a little more, but the taste was still really good. I dont understand how this place doesn’t have higher ratings. “So it took us a while to try this place because we thought it was just egg stuff. Hahaa! To our surprise, there's so much more! One day we went to Latitude Seafood Co at Stony Point Fashion Park and they were super busy and it was pretty loud that day. (I have a review for there too) Anyway, we decided to try Eggspectation since it was right across the way in walking distance. We were so glad we tried something new!! Our waitress was wonderful, the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and our food was absolutely delicious!! We have now put this place in our rotation of restaurants! While they also have outdoor seating, we have yet to sit outside. The inside is really cute and comfortable and the menu has a good selection for everyone. Don't pass up on walking through Stony Point either. Several other restaurants and stores are located there. But this particular place should most definitely be on your "must try" list! It's so good!!“

“What a nice little atmosphere in the Short Pump, Richmond area! We were in town celebrating my birthday and found this gem of a brunch spot! The food was really good and super flavorful. I had a breakfast burrito which had some amazing queso cheese on the top and my partner had the sausage and gravy which was sooo good! Don’t forget to get you an espresso martini or mimosa!! Oh and they have all these fun, breakfast shots to try!! I of course tried the birthday shot and it was super cute!!“
