“This is my to go to restaurant when I go to visit family in Gloucester. Their food is really good and so are the people. Plus, you don't break the bank even if there are a lot of people eating. The Stromboli is my favorite. It is definitely a must try for anyone liking an Italian meal.“

“My family celebrated my mother’s 74th birthday. Amongst us we have 3 diabetics, 3 without gallbladders and one with 13 food allergies as well as 2 with a lemon allergy. Our server not only was extremely helpful and accommodating but went out of her way to assist with menu suggestions regarding multiple food allergies. It’s extremely hard to accommodate my daughter’s multiple food allergies and she was very thankful. Our meal was enjoyable for us all. Our beverages were refilled promptly and all staff we came in contact with were kind, courteous and helpful. My mother had a delightful birthday meal and my daughter had no reactions. Thank you all for contributing to my mom’s birthday experience.“

“A quick online search for pizza as we were heading through Gloucester included this place. What a delightful find! The pizza and garlic knots were delicious and the waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. Charming little place with a steady flow of people. “We enjoyed our visit to Dano's. The food was fresh and the service was friendly! We had pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms... oh, and fries! Those fries were so good!!

So the pizza was delicious. Had plenty of toppings. We had a meat lovers and it did not disappoint.

Oh, we had a steak n cheese sub, too. It was just right. I ordered the 6 in and it was filled with good steak & melty cheese - I added mushrooms and sweet peppers 😋. I tried to get a good picture (after I'd been munching on it 😂) to show you the inside, but the pic really doesn't do it justice. I'd asked our server about the bread before ordering, and the bread was literally perfect. It had the slightest toast which gave it wonderful texture while maintaning the soft freshness throughout. (She told me you can order your bread anyway you like, so if you're more of a toasted bread person, let them know.)

The wings were really good too. Good sauce flavor (we had hot) and they gave us more sauce upon request. The wings were cooked well, creating a tender bite with just the right snap.

The mozzarella sticks had crazy cheese pull! And the marinara that came with was a good accompaniment. Finally, the fried mushrooms were run of the mill, but again, fresh and served with a great attitude.

The owner made rounds to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. That was thoughtful and welcome.

“One of our favorite things about the Hayes Pizza Hut is our delivery driver, Bobby. He is great! Always gets our order to us piping hot and always has a smile and a great attitude! These days, good customer service is a rarity so we are very thankful when he brings our order.
