“Pleasant experience! A little cafe tucked in a corner of a shopping plaza. The employee greeted us with a smile as soon as we entered the cafe and answered questions we had about their special desserts...one of them was a delicious and crispy baklava. I tried the cardamom coffee, loved the spiced flavors combined with my baklava. Nice, quiet spot to have a relaxing morning with a smile on your face.“

“The lady in the front who took our order & did our drinks was so sweet. She took her time to give us recommendations & what was in each drink we had questions on. We had no idea that this place was here & that its been open for a year! I think some lights would be more inviting but either way their matcha strawberry was delish & waffle with ice cream tasty! “Stellar Bakery, probably my favorite in the area, which is a lot to say in a crowded market of Korean bakeries. Excellent number of options. Each bread I got was perfectly soft and fillings for all that had them had the appropriate ratio and texture. Ordered the red bean and cream buns (latter being a standout). Re-ordered more for a work event, which were a hit!“

“Gathering Grounds has some nice coffee. I would personally recommend their hot coffee drinks, because whatever milk for the latte has a nice steaminess to it, hence the latte. The iced coffees are also pretty good, but I personally prefer the hot coffees more. The chocolate croissant is pretty good, and tastes like it just came out of the oven. I also like the ginger tea from here. If I had a suggestion, however, it would be to offer more options for sandwiches or wraps the way Starbucks does. Maybe some turkey bacon, or chicken.Servers are nice, but I do wish that they had more seating as the place can get easily cramped, but when they are available, I really enjoy the lounge chairs.“

“A local favorite! Spartans is one of those places that makes you feel like home when you go there. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Spartans doesn't disappoint.If you go for breakfast, I highly recommend the Stuffed Challah with Cream Cheese as you won't be hungry for the rest of the day. “It's a bubble tea place, not much else to say. Practically speaking I believe it to be the best in the area, and also one of the better deals too. They have some food options too but I haven't sampled any of them. They are open late which is nice for a late night treat / hangout. The shopping center it's in gets busy at all hours so sometimes parking can be annoying, but I've never not found a spot.“

“Drove up to try their Nitro brew. Solid pour and look but the coffee lacks any real flavor. I drink my coffee black and enjoy a strong cup of coffee. I understand the nitro lessens the bitterness but if this was a blind taste test I'm not sure I'd even guess it's coffee. Let the adventure for great nitro continue.“

“Good Korean bakery with tasty dessert breads and beautiful, delicious cakes. The coffee bun is my favorite and the mango mousse cake is a family favorite choice for birthday cakes. I recently got the mango mousse cake for a retirement party and everyone raved about how good it was and had second slices. Cakes come with complimentary cutting knife and decorative topper. Prices are a bit high and service is not amazing, but still a great bakery overall. Can order in advance online for efficient pickup.“

“Sharing a Gong Cha restaurant located on Annandale Virginia Street near Route 236. The restaurant is beautiful but some people say the prices are a bit high.The drinks at this restaurant are delicious, it's a bit crowded on weekends and during peak hours, needless to say. Wait and wait!!!Convenient because the shop is located near Avenue 495, about 2 minutes to the shop. But for those who like milk tea, this is also a place to visit if it is convenient to go to Washington DC and Virginia near the Vietnamese center of EDEN.“

We ordered: +a blanca Mocha - this was prepared very well; strong, creamy, and tasty! +a beef empanada - the exterior was a bit too thick, and I wasn't a fan of the filling flavors +a chicken empanada - the exterior was a bit too thick, and I wasn't a fan of the filling flavors +a Pollo sandwich - kind of like a chicken salad sandwich with mayo on a French bread; bread could have been less crusty and more fresh; the chicken salad itself was seasoned well and tasty; comes with shoestring potato sticks (I thought it came with fries); don't forget to request extra of the spicy sauce! +a Lomo Saltado - very generous in portions, this was prepared well and had great flavor; don't forget to request more of that spicy sauce! “Got the brown sugar matcha since I like that flavor combo. Taste was there and not as sweet as I thought but I actually like that since boba is rather sugary in general. I've been here several times in the past and while cozy (small), it is nice and I never feel rushed to order. I really liked their Vietnamese coffee boba as well. The only thing is that pulling in and then parking can be a hassle and it's more out of the way from a bunch of the main eateries in Annandale but nonetheless an enjoyable boba spot in the area.“

“Been going to this Peet's for years near the library and the espresso drinks are always great! I like extra shots to sip on over time. That can make a drink bitter (and Peet's is stronger coffee than most anyway) but not with these baristas. Wonderful baristas here who are warm and funny. Really enjoy the "porch" area outside too where you can read/study or just chill, very relaxing space. Always fast service and kindness. Love this Peet's!!!“

“I really like this location. It's got a great atmosphere to it and just in the few times I've been to it, has always had a plethora of friendly staff. The food and coffee is, you know, starbucks, so nothing to write home about, but I can say that the seating options is pretty diverse. Not sure if they're on the same music station as the other locations, but I can also say that their music is always so good.“
